I should be at Peterborough, on the CTOC stand, hoping for a relaxing weekend and a shakedown for the Freelander before the Camel Reunion the weekend after.

Mrs Blip has qualified for a horseshow on the Sunday, so it'll be a boy's weekend for me... Peterborough, Land Rovers, no missus ... I make that Pimm's o'clock!

Cheers

Blippie

As a new member, and local to Peterborough, what should I expect at the LRO show? The web site was very nice to look at, but a bit short on information...

I did notice that the FLC wasn't listed amongst the clubs attending though.

Dazza - August 17, 2008 08:19 PM (GMT)
Mark says the club is having a stand and Gearge Stoker has said in another post on the forum the club is having a stand so I take it there will be a stand at the show.
As for what will be there I havent got a clue as I have never been before. :D

George Stoker - August 17, 2008 09:34 PM (GMT)
Yes we have a stand there - despite not being listed on LRO web site

The calendar at top of events section has shown this show as having an FLC stand since early in the year.

What to expect?

Lots of Land Rovers

FLC stand :D

usually a few bargains to be had

Arena events (inc a display by Steve Colley)

hot dogs and beer stalls

Off Road course

and an Old Sodbury Sortout on the Sunday
