Hi I am looking for a rear parcel shelf for my freelander, I saw a retractable one on ebay and mailed the guy, it looks like its from a discovery, but he says it will fit a freelander, do they fit both or is had making it up ??

I think you have found an ebay fibber! These are certainly different from each other, also when you do find one make sure it is for your model Freelander as they differ from 3 door to 5 door.

oh and does a 5 door boot cover fit a 3 door model for the freelander, people are saying it does and some say it doesnt ??

i have a 3 door model and i found a parcel shelf to fit not a retractable one but one that lifts up, if yours is a 3 door let me know and i will send you the guys contact details took me about ten mins to fit the brackets for it guys at Driff would of seen it

3 and 5 door boot covers are NOT interchangeable.

Nice one badboy, can you give me those details and how much did it cost you, do you have to buy the brackets on there own ?

hi the web site is www.powerfuluk.com but if you look on ebay for freelander parcel shelf, you'll find he does them £50 CHEAPER on ebay the brackets/fixing kit come with the shelf and its just a case of unclipping the clips that hold the boot side trime in place and replacing the top ones with the bracket
