Title: Locked Out
Description: how to open a locked freelander without

dougs1009 - June 16, 2008 12:30 AM (GMT)
Hi Folks
Can anyone help i've just left the key and fob in my freelander and the doors have locked on me does anyone have any idea how i can get into the car with the least amount of damage?

Badboy - June 16, 2008 08:05 AM (GMT)
i'm afraid i cant answer that because technically i'd be telling a complete stranger how to break in to a freelander, but all major recovery companies have the same knowledge and tools

I know people wont agree with me on sharing this information but this man needs help.

You need a special tool called a 'brick' you can pick these up in most hedge rows or any good builders yard.
Simply insert the brick into the car via the drivers window and open the drivers door from the interior handle.
But to be honest, smashing the window is a far quicker and cheaper option than calling a professional in to pop your locks. Whats a window from a scrappies? Or even Autoglass?

SatNav? I thought you'd have some hi-tech interplanetary guidance system on board. Come to that, how on earth did chav scroat breach your shields in the first place? ;) :D
