Title: Td4 Fuel Problem
Description: things to try

Paul B Visitor - June 11, 2008 04:37 PM (GMT)
Hi everyone, Im a visitor to your site as one of your members from Wolverhampton said write a post, so here goes.
My son drives a Freelander TD4 on a 54 plate. Recently he has not been able to start the thing without a great deal of trouble. Once running and hot all is okay. Leave it overnight and back to square one. Regretfully I'm no mechanic and diesel engines are a mystery to me.
There are no obvious signs of leaks so what might it be and where would he need to start looking. He lives in Thornaby nr Middlesboro.
Thanking you in advance.
Paul

Possible fuel sensor failure causes this (could also be other problems)

Solution is to get it on a diagnostics machine
I can recommend an independant at Durham where he will put it on diagnostics and assess problem.

Freelander Club discount as well :D

Send me an email if interested
