Hi Folks,

There is limited information yet, other than agreed date of 5th October 2008.

Last years event the North East Area attended and provided a club stand at the event, hopefully this year we will be doing the same. So if any member would like to attend please email me.

Once I have any further info I will post it here.

This event, if on 5th October, clashes directly with the London to Brighton LR Run.
I will be on the Run with the Club Stand so cannot be at Halifax as well. :(
Please keep me posted direct wirh any info as I can place into the next mag (May) if received in time, and hopefully boost the Piece Hall attendees.

Sunday 5th October 2008 - Land Rover Gathering, Piece Hall, Halifax.

Come on folks we have approx 18 Freelander Club Members attending this event.
But I would like to get more there if possible, so if your interested and a member of the club or not yet, come along for the day.

Entry is from 9am

Entry is FREE. Yes FREE. (where can you take the family on a sunday to a land rover event and pay nothing to get in.)

For those members of the family not interested in LR, Piece Hall has various shops and your not far from the main shops in Halifax.

We will be taking a gas stove and providing tea & coffee (Again FREE). Also we will have a couple of gas grills. So bring along your bacon, sausage & eggs etc.(sorry you will have to cook your own) :huh:

I would like to say a BIG thank you to all those members who attended Piece Hall.

The weather was great, (dry and sunny) and what a turn out of Freelanders. It was nice to meet up with members from Yorkshire, Cumbria and the North West.

Look forward to next year.

Sounds like you had a great day. Down South we has a soaking wet, but enjojable London to Brighton run. Sounds like we should have traveled North for some sunshine!!

I just might venture up next year.
