It has been decided that Mercury will be breaking its affiliation with EOTZ, for the following reasons:

• Unacceptable EOTZ staff behavior (especially in comparison to the site's own rules)
• Failure of taking appropriate measures to find a solution to said problem
• Inactivity of the forums

I have to say. I don't know where you get the idea that these forums are totally inactive. We're not as active as a forum like FEF. But we're certainly stable, and as active as our other affiliates (save BoF), including Mercury. So I wouldn't try to pull that one on me.

As for this other matter, I've looked into it and contacted the staff member offline. You're not the first. A different Admin deleted another account simply because they thought it was in their rights sinse they had the capablities. I'm making that clear to the staff now.

As for this whole angsty thing that you and said admin have going on, it's none of my business and I ain't going to defend either of you. Mind you there'll be punishment for any flaming or abuse of powers on the forum. And I mean accessive punishment, like suspensions. I have my own problems to deal with and I really didn't want to have to be stuck always breaking you two up.

I've got one question though. Are all girls like this?

Depends on some of us are feeling. Especially when we might be having a bad day. I'm just saying that this happens to us all.

All I can really say is that yes, we do have our ups and downs but we are tryng our best to make things stable, which it is right now. Everyone seems to be enjoying our topics chatting.

And I have not been angst with anyone. If you mean Linoud, well. He has his own issues he needs to deal with. And Red? Well, let's just say if she is going to make a comment towards me (ESPECIALLY if it's as rude as it was), she should have expected a retort. I wasn't as rude as I could have been.

Since this isn't the first time, I must question your leadership abilities, Kovu, or at least your ability to choose staff members who will do the right thing when needed.

The decision still stands, and it's not something we thought up today. It also was not my decision alone. The only person I will talk to about this is Kovu, and he never gets on IM, so I'm assuming you'll be fine without us.

Well, this is a shame. I missed the arguments, flaming, whatever you want to call it, but I have been filled in by various forum members.

I don't know you very well, but I always considered you an intelligent, kind person. Could be that you're just having a bad day.

If you later change your mind, we'll still be here. And we're always willing to have you as an affiliate.

That is where you said we're inactive. And if you did not mean EotZ in particular, than stating that would have made things clearer.

And if your reading this, thinking that I should have done the same in the poll that I created not too long ago, where this whole issue has arisen from. Let me just say this. I should not have to state what that poll was about, concidering that one:

- I had recently made a post stating everything in my 'Update Schedule' for the comic. Which I knew the majority of the mostly active people did in fact read.

And two:

- I rarely if ever deal with anything outside my own comic threads. The skin is really no importance to me. I stated my opinion with the colour schemes and such, but I never expect any one to do just as I alone say. As far as I'm concerned the look of this forum is completely up to our Root.

The general populace of this forum are well aware of that.

And as for my actions, I do agree that I went around things the wrong way. Kovu has allready reprimanded me offline for it. But I am never one to sit idly by while a person who is as abrasive, nasty, rude, and so wholy bent out of shape as you to let you get away with what you have said.

But meh, do what you will.

I believe its bad for us to be affiliated with some one with your amount of inactiveness and attitude. You have contributed nothing but headaches and arguments to this forum for quite some time. It may not have been that way in the past, but it is like that now.

You expect every one to bow their heads to you, and to give to you, while you give nothing back in return except a slap in the face.

You are nothing more than a snag, keeping us from moving along smoothly.

The fact is Crystal, is that if you're trying to convince us otherwise; Convince us that you are needed, a valued member of our team. Then you are failing miserably.

You are not hurting us whatsoever by removing your affiliation, and you are not hurting us by leaving either, since you've hardly been active at all.

And as for Kovu's way of leading us. He does a fine job. He knows he cannot please every one, least of all one member such as yourself.

Im afraid that if your looking for some one to pity you, or sympathise with you, or even plead for you to stay just to stroke your ego a little, then you are looking in the wrong place.

*sighs* I do not appreciate that as an admin I have so far not been informed about what exactly is going on. That said just looking at the relatively calm end of the arguement I'm seeing right now is making my stomach churn. I put my faith in that Judgemaster Kovu will deal with this in whatever fashion he feels best suits the forum and I will back whatever decision he makes. Beyond that I take no sides unless I see the original context of the arguement and decide on my own from there.

I can only go on what I know.
So far neither of these two have provided me with many specific examples of the angst going either way. Erios showed me some old exampled, but not a lot.

Kovu, you know me, I would not make feces up about this. This place is a free place for every one to enjoy.

I do crazy things when I get angry, but once I've cooled off, I always realise my mistakes. Ive allready spoken to you on the matter of my actions.

I'd like a list of my issues next time you post. Just so I can have a look at what you've thought of me these last few years.

This saying is a good one that I live by. Even though I dont know the details, if Erios lashed out, regardless of the reasons why, straight at crystal, then that was foolish of her. But for you to punish the rest of the forum, and break your affiliation is a greater folly then hers, especially if she tried in some way to say sorry. Kovu has proven himself a good leader here and other forums.

No offense to you crystal, I have seen you on other forums, but to simply lash out at this forum and Kovu simply because your displeased about something that almost none of the forum knows about puts things in a bad light. You should have voiced your displeasure for the whole board to know so all the mods could know and discuss it, and then act, not lash out when we dont know. Just the opinion of someone who has seen all to many of these cases.

As for issues, we all have them right now, and Linoud's issues aren't that bad, so let that be that and not bring in things that are irrelavent to this.
