Your first look at Ex would make the impression that he was alone and afraid. And he was. His secret was quite scary, for some. He had so little control of it.

But that's not how this starts. In fact it starts on a warm summer day, where nights are warm, good for walks in the moonlight. And on a plasma screen in the middle of dragoncity, the news was on.
Apparently oficials had found a half eaten body of a human and dragon. The marks showed it was not a dragon that did this, nor a hydrag. The marks in the flesh were too small. But whatever had done this, was powerfull enought to take down dragon and rider.

Ex knew about it, it was him that had done it. He had became a wolf again. He had to feed and so he had gone out, he wouldn't eat normal food liek others, it made him sick.

He stood leaning against abulding whatching the citeznes of dragon-city, who would be next? he didn't want to think about. But he was starting to feel the urge to kill and feed.and when he felt it, he would go out, transform into a wolf and hunt down his next prey.

It was scary thinking about it. He didn't want to think about it, but it was going to happen.
But he didn't want to go out and hunt again. Even though he loved the feeling he got when he was a wolf, he didn't want to hunt all the time. He went to a stand and bought an apple. He was crazy yes, he knew he was going to regret this. then sat down and ate it.

Slite and Feral were just beyond the stand, far from Ex and his apple nibbling. Slite was on a mission of her own, with her dragon Feral, the dragon that held The Stone of Fire. Even then they grew like Sage and her rider, but never the less will they become volatile like Damien and Marcus. Slite and Feral were different, kind in most cases - but you rarely see that - when it deals with her and Feral, in others shes agressive and most importantly, very decent.

Yes, it was hot out, but they didn't mind the heat, Ferlal himself lived in this kind of weather when he was a wyrmling. It was hot for Slite though, so she had Feral move about in the shade to keep cool for the day - at least until nightfall.

Nightfall was coming.

Ex felt sick, he knew he was going to regret that apple. He ran off into an alley, didn't come out for a time. When he did he was pale, shaky, and starving. Now the wolf in him, wanted out badly, but he knew he had to wait, wait for night wait for darkness.
Ex realized the time, 7:59. He had to get to the orphanege, almost dinner. Normally he would walk over sit at the table and wait for dinner wich was always at 8:00. But that didn't mean he ate. Most of the time he told the nurse he didn't feel good and was going to bed. She never argued.
In fact, he did get qeuzy at the site of normal food. He couldn't keep it down, the only thing he could, was fresh raw meat.


So now he sat in his dark grey room, the time now 10:00, waiting for everyone to go to sleep.
It was quite throuhgout the building.
Ex got up, walked over to the window, opend it, he was on the first story so it wasn't a long drop, then closed it to where the slightest crack was there. He had done this last night too.

then he ran into an alley way. He felt his body change, There was a flash of light tha when you looked at it you couldn't tell what color it was. When it faded, a lone black wolf stood there. He threw back his head and let out a long sad howl. He was alone in this, he always would be.

Then he ran out., he leaped over a trash can and landed on the other side. His senses enhanced, he felt the presence of rider and dragon, but he wanted drgaon. It wasn't slite and Feral.
He cought site of them, a bipedal blue dragon. He crouched low in the dark, waiting. The dragon stopped infront of the black wolf, it sensed him, but he was quick. He lept at it's throat, the part of the dragon structure where the scales were weakest, and ripped open it's throat.
The dragon staggered backward let out a faint hiss, fell backward on its rider killing him instantly. The black wolf went up to its prey and began to eat greedily, notrealizing the human, even though he ate some bits of him.

(yeah kina gross, but i think it cool!lol)

(Are you kidding? I love gory movies and this is awesome! I am a horror person, I crave them kinds of movies. Like the movie The Mist that I am watching and buying today, well watching right now!)

Feral watched the black wolf pick at the dragons bones vigorously with a virulent bite. Slite sat upon the saddle with sickness bearing in her stomach. "Feral, let's go. This is getting nauseating," Slite whispered to Feral, whom wasn't listening, but paying attention to Ex in his wolf form. His first step back with his right hind paw was all that he took. Not turning around, no fleeing, no nothing. Feral wasn't afraid, but curious at the moment. He has seen more than this and he has killed dragons and riders in his life time, but Slite made him give all that up - ever since he had met her. That was long ago and doesn't matter now, his life has been hunky dory since he himself had given up the annihilation of certain dragons and humans.

"Feral, let's move. Now!" Slite pushed Feral, but he did not budge one muscle, one motion, one grudge. He stood there with his rider upon the saddle. Slite was beggining to frighten and wanted to leave, but Feral was different. He didn't mind such things, afterall, he did the same thing.

(oh,lol.)

The black wolf heard Slite, his senses were enhanced, he looked up. His black eyes met Feral's he drew back his lips into a feral snarl.

He thought they were going to kill him, which wasn't a suprise many people would kill a wolf on sight.

Darrk Hyrt and James were not far off, James watched and so did Darrk.They knew what a wolf was, but this was just strange. Darrk took a step forward.

The black wolf hissed at Darrk and James who now could be seen. Ex tensed, he was going to jump at James knock him out of the saddle. He lept.

James reacted out of instinct, he took his Jackstick activated at the right moment right when the wolf lept on him. Ex's jaws closed around the jackstick.

Darrk hissed and turned, but he couldn't do anything without harming James.

Feral won't and will not kill Ex. Maybe if he infuriated him too much and ticked him off to the edge. Ex wasn't an abomination, he was just a wolf. It's not his fault that he was like this way, acting the way he is. Feral probably wouldn't understand the wolf part, but being hungry all the time and craving meat all the time, that Feral could understand. He took had felt that same way, until Slite had changed him and made him the way his is now. Sooner or later Feral will change and be the way he was the last time, no one changing him again.

Standing there with no movement, no sound, Feral watched James and Darrk Hyrt trying to fight off Ex. Slite wanted to help, but she never has dealt with a wolf before. In fact, she never herd of a wolf being in Dragon City.

That's what made it weird, Dcs have never dealt with something like this, which meant that Ex was probably the last of his kind.
Lucky for citizens, that meant he couldn't turn them into what he was.

The black wolf's eyes glinted in the dark. James fought to keep the wolf away from him. He kicked it off of him and got up. Darrk maged him to the saddle.

Ex snarled again, He circled Darrk who hissed at him. Then Darrk shot a mag at him right as Ex lept again. Ex hit a wall and fell unconscience.
It was only a matter of time before he turned back into his human form.

Feral moved from his spot with Slite on the saddle gripping the toggles with full strength. "Why is there a wolf in Dragon City?" Slite asked as she eyed the unconscious wolf.

"I don't know."James said,"They haven't existed for...."He stoped short, Ex was transforming from the killing wolf, to the scared lonley orphan.

"Years," Slite finished his sentence. Looking at the boy, Slite recovered a blanket from her saddle and placed it over him.

James looked at Ex. Darrk was curious, and a little guilty. He hadn't meant to hurt the kid, just get him away before he could do damage.

"What are you to do with him?" Slite asked. Feral seemed tense as Slite felt his muscles tighten. A hiss escaped his cracked mouth, trailing behind with a low bellow.

"I'm not going to do anything."James replied,"And neither will you."

Slite glared at James, "I never said I was." Feral snarled within his breath, hissing that trailed behind it. Slite knew Feral was becomming angered and agitated. Feral didn't care, all he wanted to do is get the boy to safety.

Darrk hissed, he through his head into the air and sanrled about something.
"What boy?"James asked.
Darrk neither answered nor aknwoledged. Instead he spread his wings and took off.

"Leave a boy stranded?" Slite said to herself, "What is going to happen to him?" Staring at the young boy, Ex, Slite felt sorry for the child.

Ex would be found, pt back at the ophanaged, punished for a attempt of running away. though he had every right to runaway, the kids there hated him.

"Maybe we can help him somehow? Take him with us for a while?" Slite suggested. Feral agreed to it as well.

Most of the kids picked on him, calling ihm names, taking turns beating him sensless. He had the marks to prove, all along his stomach and thorax.

Feral magged Ex to the back of the saddle, with his head prompt on Slite's back, legs spread acrossed Feral's back, "We go," Slite said.

"Darrk why'd you run off?"James asked Darrk, they were resting in an empty alleyway.
"Dark forces are at work."Darrk hyrt hissed,"that boy, will be of an importance if someone besides us and the other two find out about his power."

There is no greater power between humans and dragons, nor does it make sense that one is highly powerful than another. Yes, Ex may be strange, but it's non of their concern. Feral liked the boy and didn't care what anyone had thought on him or Ex, he is just a little boy, it's not his fault he's this way.

Ex was born wth the curse, he could control, but right now, not very well.

"Lets go home. We can take him home with is and give him what he needs for now," Slite said to Feral.

the sun was rising, and by now, people at the orphanaged had found that Ex was missing, no big deal.they prabably thought he went out.
Buy the mutilated dead body of humna and dragon had been found.

Slite took a blanket and covered the boy and placed him in front of her. Holding onto the toggles she looked around the roads. There was no one, so she took her only chance.

If ex would've woke up then, he would've freaked out a bit, but he didn't wake, darrk hyrt had got him good.

Feral snarled loudly as he herd a struggle out in the alley, it was just a cat and a mouse. Snorting Slite and Feral came upon a large building, "Well, this is home," Slite said dismounting Feral and walking to the door. Typing in a code, she moved her hands in single showing Feral to get in the building quickly.

Some wheree down in old city one of th elords of the underworld weere moving around, looking for something. perhaps Ex?

It was dark, pitch black in the room. Good enough for Ex and both Feral and Slite. It kept Feral occupied from his massive killing rage and her from seeing the light. She hates the daylight and day of course. Slite loves it at night, she's able to do many things that she can't during the day. Slite placed Ex on a bed that was rested in a corner. The bed was for company, but was never used because they never had company. It was always her and Feral.

Ex kept having these strange dreams. But never were they clear enough to tell what they were.
Then Ex woke up.
He opened his eyes, but saw darkness, where was he?
He remebered being knocked out into a wall, then, nothing.

"Don't worry young boy," Slite said handing him a cup of water. "Your safe now. I know what you are, and you touch me or my dragon, you'd wished you'd never done so. But, anyways, I am Slite and that is my dragon Feral. We picked up up over where that dragon and rider opposabley slammed you against a wall, knocking you out. It's clear darkness in here, we like it that way and prefer it to be this way. IF you do like it make yourself at home!" Ferla finished with his drinking and walked over to Slite and Ex.

"my name is Ex,"he told her taking the water.

"Nice to meet you Ex," Slite said as she turned around to go back to her work. The facility was large and perfect for dragons. Even dragons the size of the place, the facility even goes under ground and has many chambers. People don't know about the place because it's hidden from the eyes. The facility takes shape to look like another building, but the other buildings that surrounding it are actually part of the facility. It makes itself look like it's surroundings.

Ex's eyes became adjusted to the dark and h e looked around.

But, Feral and Slite don't live in Dragon City, they live far from Dragon City, in the outskirts of Dragon City. The place seemed to look like a desert from outside the complex.

Ex liked it here, it wasn't like the orphanage.

"Feel free to explore if you eant, we have nothing to hide here. It's just one big home to us," Slite said as she finished up with her work.

(Oh, well thanks! BGD better get up! My whole family is sleeping besides me. I had ot get up to let out our new puppy and watch Dreamcatcher.)

Ex nodded and got up he looked around again. He had never been here before and he was a littl catiouse of where was where.

"If you need a map to fins out where your going, there is a map of the entire complex on the side of the wall, I placed two on each floor. On both sides," Slite informed. "I doubt you'll get lost in this place, if so there is a main office on each floor where you can contact me with a phone that's on the desk. My name is on a tab, first one!"
