Title: Fantasy Species
Description: New Spiecies of Fantasy Animals

Alexis - March 30, 2008 03:01 AM (GMT)
I have been making a lot of my own species in fansasy. Like for example: Since Thursday I have been making this species called a Sphynx (Ph-ing-x). The S in Sphynx is slient. But, is has a head of a dragon, body of a wolf, tail of a domestic cat or some of a dragon or dog, paws of a large cat, like a tiger, leopard, snow leopard, lion, etc, and ears of a Gryphon.

It was fun and amazing! The first one had birdlike wings, but I made that for a best freind of mine Kayla P. Before we went on Spring Break on Friday, since I can't see her, in which I cannot explain to you because what we did you cannot know, and well, I wanted to hsow her my love in how much I care for her. So, I made her it so she can hold on to it in her heart forever and it will neve be broken. Since I have explained to you about the Sphynax, I made a pic of it in MS Paint. Took me a while, but hey, it was worth it!

Sphynx
The Spynx is a loveable and intellegent species. They adapt very quickly to their environment and others. Rarely they are found because they are indangered, only because humans tend to love their beauty and fur, so poulters scavenge them down and kill them. Luckaly, there are some alive, hiding from them. Others migrated to new lands and dimensions. Which are same from harm. Some Sphynx's live in the new world or a new dimension called Galithria. It's a large world there, with animals that inhabit it's lands and waters. Even the fantasy creatures we are known to like dragons, gyphons, phoienox, unicorns, pegesus, pixies, faries, brownies, leprechauns, etc.

The Sphynx is well known for it's beauty. They all come in different colors, ranging from red to blue, from pink to purple, green to orange, and yellow to gold. Every color in the specturm you can imagine, even colors combined. They have wonderfully large wings. The evil ones have the membrane wings, like of a dragon or a bat. Their survival tecniques are wonderfully adapted. They can live without food and water for years. Their bodies evolve and function in new ways, to keep it alive. Their speeds range from 70-90 mph. Sphynx's can run for hours without stopping. One of the advantages for catching prey. A disadvantage is their colors, but some can camofloge into their environment.

Their calls and echos are unique, they're like whales, dolphines and a bird combined. They can make click noises as well. The echos are also to help catch prey, also known as Echolocation. A Sphynx's sight is beyond great. They can see in the dark like it was day. As night falls, their eyes glow gold. Their vision is clear and bright so they are able to see clearly. Sphynx can live up to 5,000 years, maybe older. Without their fur falling off or getting weak. They stay strong for all their life, never growing to weak.

A Sphynx eats animals mainly larger that itself, sometimes it's eat smaller animals. Sometimes they become prey as well, rarely is one catched, for they are smarter than it's opponet. A Sphynx travels in a pack of nearly 20 or more. Producing up to 5-8 pups a year. A male is larger than a female, but the female is stronger and more wiser than the male is. In each pack there is a dominant male and feamle. On occasions there are fights, but rarely there is one because they live as a family and depend on one another. They hunt, eat, and sleep as a pack or clan. None will fight over another, just live and love. That's what makes them powerful in their own ways.

Their territory ranges for miles, just about 5-7 miles out. When it comes to their pups, they can be fierce and protective. An angered mother you shall not go near or you will never see the light of day again. They make great pets for a sorcerer, witch, or a normal human. They're dependable, a great allie, guardian, and protector. A Sphynx never stands down or draws from a fight. They'll never give up until one dies, wich will take years for a war between ot end, maybe even decades. Wars are long, tough, and suspendful. But, they live on and live life to the fullest.

the unforgiven are a large group of dragons who wee killed by humans but never got judgement in liberia.humans slaughtered them with guns.the dragons were filled with rage. so they couldn't go to liberia.which means a lace of freedom.without peace there is no freedom. they look like the wolf on 300 only they have scales, are bigger, and have forked tail, horns sharper claws.yeah you get the idea.

i like it when people come up with knew cretures!it's awsome because we can see how others imagination soar.

Alexis - March 30, 2008 03:46 PM (GMT)
They sound fierce enough! I have to get my dragon Azura down on Paint if I can. He stand up to72 feet tall, his length from head to tail is 115 feet, from paws to wing tip he is 98 feet tall and 2 inches. His claws size is around 6 inches long, with his teeth comming from 8 inches. Black stripes run down his back to tail, with frails on his head to the end of his back or to say to his hip bones. On his front legs there are grey stockings, and his whole body is white. On his wings there are little black strips on the membrane part of the wings. His horns are grey with a grey belly and on his chest. On his tail it's black tipped as well. His eyes are black with a blue puple. His wing size is about 265 feet long, just to carry his weight. And he weighs about 8 tons.

And thank you, if you want a Sphynx I can make you one, or make it look like Darrk Hyrt? If you want me to, but I am on Spring Break so I have time to make Azura! I have his picture in a Picture Fram that I have posted on my wall. It's on a large sheet of paper, and it's on my lap right now! I am so proud of myself. Well, better get to Azura then, shall I!?

Here's a little Key:
'-Feet
"-Inches

Got it? Just to let you know!

I have Azura done! Here take a look at him:

black dragon returns - May 1, 2008 09:27 PM (GMT)

Alexis - May 2, 2008 08:22 PM (GMT)
I like them, but I adore and is crazy over dragons and sharks! I prefer them over anything in the world. I know just about everything on the two. I admire European, Western, and Eastern Dragons. For sharks, I admire the Great White and the Mako, and the movie Deep Blue Sea. The best movie ever on sharks!

black dragon returns - May 9, 2008 08:53 PM (GMT)
I was never really fasinated by sharks.
BGD was alittle, she tried learnin about um, hard to if you can't find the boks.

Alexis - May 11, 2008 06:19 AM (GMT)
I had and have books on sharks, I've learned info from The Discovery Channel on Shark Week, National Geographic, and Animal Planet. Along with many movies on and about sharks. Just love sharks though. I don't see why they don't come into fascination though!

black dragon returns - May 11, 2008 09:35 AM (GMT)
maby cause people consider hem killers? i don't know just athought.

Alexis - May 11, 2008 05:39 PM (GMT)
Sharks kill people for many reasons. Here are the two main ones that I can give you:

1. Is that to them, when we're swimming in the ocean or sea, we look like seals to them, which is a shark's favorite prey. So as we look like a seal from down below, a shark will attack that human and it considerably to them a seal.

2. When we swim in the water, sometimes we head into a shark's territory. So we're violating privacy and territory of a shark. What does a shark do? They do what all animals do, protect their territory and attack the intruder.

Sharks do not attack humans because they have a grudge on them or hate them. It's what man kind does to them that makes them kill us for reasons. You need to understand how a sharks works and acts to understand why it does things.

Aside from being able to swim backwards, sharks bring life a whole new meaning. With their ability to swim underwater and stay there for their entire lives. Sharks are outstanding and give human nature better things to give, rather than watching a warm-blooded horse gallop through the land. Sharks take it differently in my way of reasoning. They seem to infuriate my mind and consume it with their agile and swift swimming and pack hunting. Sharks arn't what you expet them to be now ain't they?

Dana Phantom - May 12, 2008 08:55 PM (GMT)
Most of the deaths by sharks are not because the shark has actually consumed the human. Most of the times, after the shark gets its teeth around the human, they discover that they're thin and fleshy - very unlike the blubber-covered seals they prefer. So they let the human go. The human then dies of shock or bloodloss.

Sharks have been around for hundreds of millions of years. They're a form perfected so long ago that very little has changed about them since the time of the dinosaurs. Mostly just their size.

Alexis - May 13, 2008 02:04 AM (GMT)
I know. I am a shark fanatic. I have herd those reason plenty of times. But, not to sound rude though. I have watched movies about sharks and Sci-Fi movies on sharks. To others they say I know nothing about them, but I know a lot about them than they think I do.

I like their scale function. From head to tail, the scales aren't flat, but jagged, so they are in the opposite direction heading towards the head and not the tail. So, once you touch or stroke a shark with your bare hands, they're cut because of the sharks skin. Especially the Water Vascular System they and fish have adapted to. What favors me the most, is their cooperation in packs. I love the hunting skills that sharks use when they're hunting.

The largest number of humans consumed and killed by one shark, was a Great White. And the number it ate was at least 30 people. More than any record that a shark has eaten. Only that the fact that the Great White is the largest carnivore, extending to about 25 feet long from head to tail. The largest Great White on record is 30 feet, and since that day it was found they never found it again. Like the 100 foot long Anaconda, once it was found that day it was never found again. Snakes are my second most favorite. They discovred 5 new breeds of shark like 3 miles below the surfce, maybe more. Those sharks live in the dark depths of the sea and never rise. Odd it may seem, but all they did to catch them was just a simple piece of meat. The fastest shark is the Mako, the shark that goes in both fresh and salt water is the Bull shark. The Bull shark has attacked more humans though, along with the Tiger Shark. I can't wait for the next Shark Week though.

Even the whole why can't sharks swim backwards thing. I get that alot by my friends, so I have to answer with long answers, but I shortened it! Unlike fish, a shark's pectoral fins cannot bend upwards like a fish, limiting its swimming ability to forward motion. If a shark needs to move backwards, it uses gravity to fall, not swim backwards. Sharks must swerve to the side in order not to hit something - they cannot simply stop.

Also, I have learned years ago that only the Great White shark is the only shark that exposes it's face out of water when attacking. The Long Tailed shark just flips out of the water when hitting it's prey with it's long tail. I am rambling... sorry for all the rambling! What can I say? I love sharks! My friends said that I am the one who's going to get their bit off 'cause I am going ot be in one of those metal cages with a gun thing in my hand with a Great White heading at me baring it's teeth!

Fireshadow - May 17, 2008 08:33 AM (GMT)

*Signs* Yes, I am a vegetarian. Been one for a long while. I am skinny as hell, pardon the language, but it's true. You can see almost every bone in my body. That's how I got the nickname "Skin and Bones," or "Walking Skeleton." I like it - to me - and well, it may seem unhealthy, but I have a schedule for what I eat and when I do. I mostly eat fruits and vegetables anyway. I rarely eat though, only 'cause I am not!

Oh, and your an Omnivore, an organism that eats both vegetables and meat. I am a Herbivore.

Vegetarians don't just eat vegetables. They get their name of not eating meat. I eat anything that it not meat, like fruits, wheat, and veggies, not just veggies.

And a humanitarians? The people here are humanitarians who engage in direct action for the benefit of a particular cause that does not deal directly with politics such as running for and holding office in order to advance it.

Dana Phantom - May 24, 2008 05:01 AM (GMT)
...

Um, yeah, congratulations at completely missing the joke there, Katelin.

Alexis - May 24, 2008 08:10 PM (GMT)
Oh, ha ha.

I never thought that it was though. I'm slow when it comes to jokes, so never could you get me on one, but sorry for the missunderstanding. You can't expect everyone to get the joke(s).

black dragon returns - May 25, 2008 10:41 AM (GMT)
like the joke dana. lol.

and in alexis' terms the humantarian, yeah, i aint a political person, if anything, politics give me migranes ad i eventaually fall asleep during one.
like what happened at school lnch. my friends talking about politics, i belive it was ky goverment, i fell asleep.
politics are boring, what can i say, i love politics. No way momerato, that's lying, i don't lie.

i accidentall shot my moms car window with a b.b gun.'i sswear it was a friggin accident. i am standing there one second, the next i'm facing the other way and a bullet has gone through the window of her black buggy.

Alexis - May 28, 2008 02:13 AM (GMT)
Sure it was an accident! I am just kidding, why would you do it on purpose, unless you have a grudge on your mom like I do, then that's a different issue or story!

I have always wanted one of those very large Punt Guns! You could do more with those things than you could with B.B. Gun or maybe a Heat Seeker or a Missile Launcher! Gnarly! I am ranting off and away at the moment, sorry, but you can't blame me or you for ranting. But it would be funnier if I was there, then her car would be in a whole lot worse of a shape than a broken window, if ya ask me! I like taking baseball bats, especially the metal ones, to things such as: Cars, trees, glass, toys - especially Bratz and Barbie - bugs, sides of houses, posts, railings, water, stuff like that!

It's fun when you destroy things, well that's yours anyhow. This entire week since I have had something in my hand it always winds up breaking.

On Monday, Labor Day, my friend Kayla and I headed out to the Boardman River, as we left - she was only a few feet away from me - I started to look down into the water and then right there in the water I saw a Sea Lamprey. Of course it was dead, but it's sweet. So, I told Kayla that I found a Sea Lamprey, but she thought I was lying until she saw it herself when I showed her. Kayla was shocked to see a Sea Lamprey so she went and got a plastic bag, cleaned it - once we got the Lamprey on the sidewalk - put water in the bag, and placed the Lamprey into the bag. Then we headed over to her house, got a jar, and we cleaned off the Lamprey. I loved that Lamprey, but we gave it to our Biology teacher Mrs. Studemann for extra credit, all we got was 10 points each, good enough! And this week we are disecting rats, and I am not doing it, so I'll have my dad write a note to get me out of it! The lamprey was bleeding like crazy, then it stopped. I had to handle with it the most, well I was the only one to handle it, Kayla didn't want to, so I was stuck with it! It had a nice and soft feel to it, like a very smooth feeling of a snake. I don't know, but I want another one to freak out my mom and scare her, it's the best thing to do or I can do that when my grandma comes down from Florida to stay at our house for at least until September. I hate it when she comes... I hate her!
