I like Emily now but when I first started watching I didn't! I didn't like how emotionless she was during Revelations. I also felt like she didn't belong at first. But ever since she is opening up and kind of shy and is really cute talking to Morgan, I like her!

I saw her first episode recently, and it seemed like she was using her clout to get on the team. I'm thinking the writers were setting her up even then to have a conflict with Hotch. :(

I sure hope they've had some plan for Emily all along because I have really had a problem with her......just that the writers haven't ever told us much about her, there was always some question about how and why she was there which they finally answered (thank you!) I've always thought her character has been rather boring. Other than speaking a lot of languages she doesn't really have a "specialty" (I guess you could say she brings a woman's point of view being the only female profiler) but I never felt like she brought a whole lot to offer to the team.

I do like that they have made her a lot more likable the last half of the season. And if there's been some master plan which will unfold (love her or just love to hate her) I can go either way....I just want to know how to feel about her one way or the other. (hopefully we will like her because I like it when the team is a "family")

BTW that's how I got involved with the "Emily Fan Club" I'm trying SO hard to learn to like her! (And from what I know of her I do like Paget, it's just Emily I have mixed feelings about.)

I can't tell yet. But I'm happy that she isn't going along with evil Supervisor Strauss - that's definitely something in her favor.

I like Emily Prentiss a lot (I don't know anything about her we just start the season 2, we're around the eleventh episode. But she seems to be nice !)

Another Emily fan! And you actually like her from the beginning :) It took me a while to get used to her but I think she's great now. I'm pleased to hear she's not betraying the team, I knew she wouldn't!

I am liking Emily so much better! I really like how she is starting off in season three. :) She seems to be more a part of the team - maybe they're intentionally making her not the outsider because they know Rossi will be the one coming in now to be the one getting to know everyone.

Sharing the Emily love again :wub: I'm having a season 3 re-watch and she's amazing :D Emily is now well and truly a part of the team, I can't imagine the show without her. Her character just keeps getting better....

I think emily is gettin better and better every season..:) she's great...she one of my fav characters!

They reran Children of the Dark tonight and it really highlighted for me why Emily is such a great character. She was so sweet with Carrie. And when Hotch told her the family was coming in, she looked so sad, I just wanted to go hug her. :lol: ;)

to emily is like she wanted to me like prove that she was gonna be a part of the team..at first it seem like she wasnt gonna fit in with everyone now she does fit in very well actually...like to along with everyone that's why i like her character..it someone everyone also can relate to

The other day I was watching a season one episode and it was almost weird to me to see Elle and not Emily. :lol: I still love Elle too, but I think I've gotten so used to Emily now....I just expected her!

I am in this manner with him. The first season was strange to play back, onto so much I got used to Emily already. I did not like Emily very much initially though when Elle went away. I hated it.

I guess I never got attached to either of them. Since I got hooked during reruns I saw eps from all the seasons in no particular order. And of course in the beginning I had a hard time telling them apart (something I find so funny now) so it didn't really matter to me who was in what ep. :rolleyes: To this day I don't think I can say which one I like more. Well, maybe if I had to pick I'd say Prentiss, but that's just because I've just seen some eps lately where I thought she shined and/or showed us how awesome she is (Children of the Dark, Damaged).

But I can totally see where you guys are coming from. When you have the time to get attached it is different. ;)

I loved Elle so much and you have no idea how much I hated Emily when she came along :lol: Actually, some of you probably do...I think most CM viewers got really attatched to Elle and Emily got so much criticism - way more than Rossi! But now I love Emily, she's grown so much to become an irreplacable part of the team and I agree that it's now weird seeing Elle episodes! I'll always love Elle but I wouldn't be without Emily :D
