ok you guys, so lately.. i have really been liking prentiss! at first, yeah, she wasn't the best.. but that's because we didn't really see her that much, and this and that. however now, she's awesome!

is prentiss growing on you guys like she is on me? :)

Hmmm... after last nights episdoe I did in fact find myself thinking that I liked her now.

At first she was too serious and wound up. But now... she's nice, smart, funny... and all that good stuff haha.

I think she's about as exciting as a side-order of cole slaw.

Sorry! I'm trying....I really am! I've noticed they are giving her more lines and trying to make her "fit in" but for some reason it just isn't working for me.

She has actually never bothered me...

...I liked her a lot in "Jones" but I was sorta hoping that at the end when the backsotry of the Unsub was revealed she'd shown her anger more. It seemed that she was angry but held back on showing it, I sorta wanted her to go off, ya know?

Hopefully they'll reveal some more about her - but she's pretty cool I guess

I'm still on the sidelines. She's very efficent, and good at her job, so I can't rag on her for that, but I still want to know how the hell she got into the BAU! I think that is what keeps me from warming up to her character more, because I'm still rather indifferent, mostly because I'm just suspicious.

im thinking lukewarm right about now. I kinda like her, but i haven't really accepted her as part of the team yet. But she is warming up to me.

If Reid is going off on someone I hope it's her.

What was up with her comment on the plane. She is trying to fit in, we are trying to like her, yet the writers are directing all of Reids anger directly at her.
She can't win, bottom line.
Although they do appear to be "softening" her up a little.
"The Dark Side" Morticia look is not very appealing, nor her "I am a nerd"coversation with Morgan? CBS first has her on the team because she was great at her desk job. She is able to contribute as far as some of the profiles. Yet even I knew that Jack the Ripper took the Kidney!! Stop playing games with her character, if you want us to like her, make her likeable, not that difficult!!

I sit here and I laugh, wondering if I in fact I should come here.....at least we now know where Kyle was all of last week! He was abducted by aliens and apparently brain washed. :ph43r: (kidding kyle, you have a good heart)

I do find your timing a bit odd. I sort of was warming up to her last week, but Dr. Reids behavoir this week, made me think "hummm Reid does not even like her, why should I." <_<

I think I'm so angry at the Team for letting Reid get away with this horrible behavior, I'm refering to him as "Golden Boy". No matter how much I don't (or do like Prentiss), nobody deserves to be spoken to, the way he and Emily speak to each other. And nobody says anything?

I'm torn....because I really did try and watch "Jones" and not look at her as so.....prentiss

ALTHOUGH I I did laugh and fall off the sofa when the bad guy rapist called her "CHER". That was awesome, now when I look at Prentise, I will laugh and think of Just Jack....and like her.

And its funny because I love this show as well, and Paget Brewster could be a valuable edition....(not a replacement..lol)

I like her a lot better than in the beginning but she could never hold a candle to Elle. She'll never be able to replace Elle in my mind. She just doesn't have the heart or talent like Elle did.

I never really had an issue with her.
I mean, I don't remeber elle. The ep's from Season 1 I do remeber I don't remeber her in so I never got the whole "trying to replace elle" thing.

She seems nice enough. Reid defently has an issue with her but I think that has more to do with the fact that she was prying and he didn't want to open up to her because he doesn't know her as well.

Perhaps she worked for Homeland Security and was deep undercover in Iran. A secret millitery spy. Or she worked security detail for the president on Air Force One? Assisited in developing The Pantheon Project. Was overseas with the FBI's Legal Attaché Program...so many great places she could come from.

I think the decision to have her come in came from somewhere up above. At least, this is my theory.
In the first season in some of the very first episodes, you get a look at Agent Holloway, the director there at the BAU, who put SSA Gideon on medical leave and made the decision to bring him back *first episode, Extreme Agressor*. That obviously indicates that although Hotch and Gideon should get a big say in who goes on the team because they lead it, they don't get the final say.
They stopped having Agent Holloway playing pretty early in the season. I think if they ever do go into Prentiss being there it's going to somehow tie into that woman, because when she was on screen in the start of the show, she was always worrying *rather vocally* about whether or not Gideon could do his job. Maybe Prentiss is a mole for her?

Personally I really like her and can't wait to find out more about her character in the shows to come. I'm sure that she'll have some demon in her closet that will draw us in. So far she's been only growing in likeness in my books!

Definitely hot. She is a much stronger character than Elle ever was. Elle was such a fragile and weak character, Prentiss is strong-willed and determined.

I think the reason that Prentiss doesn't show emotions is because she wants to prove herself to the team that she's meant to be there. As we see in season two, she reflects on what she said to the victim in "Open Season", so she's not unaffected by what she sees, I think she just doesn't want to be perceived as not deserving to be there considering the circumstances of her arrival into the BAU.

I was a bit apprehensive about her character when she was new on the show, but she really grew on me! she's my absolute favourite on the show now, she's so cute and funny! And surprisingly.. even though i'm a girl i'm actually an emily/jj shipper, which scares me sometimes.. they have the greatest moments though, emily and jj.

She is alot harder character than Elle was, but maybe that's good? I really like her interaction with JJ very much. I think those two are good for each other, 'cause, like lakers2611 up there ^^^ I'm a Emily/JJ shipper :)
