Hi,

I am still new here but I already made some banners and would like to share them with you.

I have 12 CM-banners so far but I guess, it would be too much to post them all here (?). So I just post three of them - I also have a link to a site in the internet where you could find all but I don't know if I am allowed to post this link here (could be regarded as spam). Perhaps someone could tell me what how to handle it? I couldn't find a rule for this ... (EDIT: OK, here's the link to my other CM-banners: CLICK)

These banners are pretty dark - due to the storylines of the episodes ...







If there are any mistakes in the inscriptions please feel free to tell me about (my English isn't that good and I'd like to improve it).

And if someone likes to use any of the banners in his sig feel free to do so ... but please don't hotlink, and a credit and a little note to me would be fine, too - thank you!

I love them!

I really love the black and white and copper tone (I'm sure that's not the acctually term) effects and The blending is great!!

my favorites are the JJ one, The distress one, The Ried/Gideon one, And the "lost in thought" one.

I have a question, did the green in his jacket stand out or did you have to go around it??

I hope I understand your question correctly ;-) …. The green in the jacket was a result from putting the layers one upon the other (using several tools, Duotone, layer properties & styles, several blending modes ….. damned, I don’t know most English terms in Photoshop. Hard to describe it) but I didn’t go around it or worked on it separately.
But well, perhaps it would be a good idea to highlight the green? Let’s have a try ... So, the changed banner looks like this:



So, which one is better now? The ew one or the old one from above?

Okay, where are you guys finding the stills for these banners??? They're great, and I would like to make some as well..... :unsure:

I use a screencaps website which has stills from every episode. I E-mailed them and they said it was OK to use caps for banners and avvies, just no hotlinking.

The banners are EXCELLENT! :D I'm partial to the Gideon and Reid one ;) its a lovely artistic commentary of the father/son relationship between the two characters :D So effortless...

Pardon My French...but what is hotlinking....I don't want to be violating any international laws or anything!!

@Special Agent Jentzer: I think Wikipedia can explain it much better than I could do ;-) ... Here you can find it: definition of hotlinking. So if you save pics on your computer, on your own server or in your photobucket (or similar services that offer webspace) there's no danger of hotlinking.
And you know Ziva? So maybe you are an NCIS fan, too??

Hotlinking is where you right click on an image and you should get a url code there, so you take it from there, rather than saving it to your own server (photobucket, imageshack). Sorry its not a great definition, but thats how I can explain it, but yeah, check out wiki, it should be able to describe it, lol

LG has an interesting shaped mouth......elle like hotchner, needed to smile more.

I just wanted to say that Elle looks a bit different in the right pic of the banner. A little bit like this actress in CSI LV? At least in my eyes ... but perhaps I am just a bit confused (too less sleep, too much caffeine :unsure: )

Yesterday night I watched "Ashes and Dust" - and I couldn't resist to make a new banner ;-) (and I am going to make some more next week)

Here it is (the font with the episode title that becomes really apparent only when you look close is on purpose.)

I think, the banner is really great!! The pictures, the colour, the text---> GREAT!!

*squee* tahts so so gorgeous!!! *sigh* I love the colouring, and the little words near Hotch fit so well with the banner! Great work! :D

oh, I really wished I also had an ava for you! But unfortunately I am not that good in making avas (I prefer banners). And that is why I only made one Criminal Minds ava so far - that one that I am using right now ;)

Perhaps I am going to make some avas soon - then I'll post them, too ;-)
