OKay, so I thought I'd copypasta this thread onto here. It's the place for all those little snippets that enver seem to want to go on, and just sit there looking lonely until you try to finish it and it comes out too short for a real piece. Or amybe I'm the only one with that problem. but here's mine.

CELLO
"Sit there." And he sits.
"Alright, spread your legs." That earns him an incredibly wry glare, to which he answers in an exasperated tone, "You want to do it or not?"
"Fine." A pout is firmly affixed onto that slim face, and the corded arms that go with it are crossed over a tautly muscled torso in a gesture of almost defiance.
"Now, just pull it gently, not too hard, but with some friction to it." A giggle, nearly inaudible, graces both their ears.
"Not funny. Now you're in the right position, just build up the rhythm until you feel it let go." His cheek is pressed so lightly against the polished wood, and he bites his lip in what his partner is sure is an automatic gesture, waiting for the final chord to strike within him, for it to float out in a haunting, timeless moment that can't be repeated quite exactly ever again.
"See, I told you it wasn't that hard to play the cello."
