This is one written this morning after a pretty pain full night.
The Morning After
Yesterday's makeup is smeared on my face
My hair no longer perfect.
No longer straightened jut right.
This is the morning after.
After my heart breaks.
The memory is fading.
The tears have ceased to flow
I guess I will survive this.
After all disappointment is all I know.
A year ago today something happened
Something I wished that I could change
How would the year have gone
Had I never taken that hug
I am sure that I would not know this pain
But with the pain the happiness came too
Two extremes that came together
Maybe I would be better with out them both
I am dieing to be numb
But its far to late for that now
I know the happiness that I can feel
With out it the pain is the only thing that's real
