How old is Hotch? I've always assumed that he was about 40 maybe a bit younger? But how old is he meant to be in this? Thanks for any help!

Yeah, TG's bday is Jul the 3rd, so that makes him 44. He really doesn't look that old, really

It´s right. He look like jounger and he´s in good form.

He's definately aged well. I'd say Hotch would be early 40's. He's been through college, law school, he spent quite some time as a lawyer before he came to the BAU, so he can't be that young. Reid at 25 (this season) is a rare exception.

He has definetly aged well, yum! :P
Also, I re-watched 'The Tribe' (I think) wher Hotch's brother visted and he said then
'Hotch: You've always wanted to be a laywer, like me, like dad.
Sean: Yeah, and look at where it got him, heartattack at 47
Hotch: Well, I think Im doing pretty good.'
So I was always confused, does he mean he's doing OK, or does he mean he hasn't had a hearattack, or what? <_<

He certainly has aged very well. He is better looking now than he was when he was on Chicago Hope in my opinion. :)

i have to say...in Wednesday's eppy (sex, birth...w.e) he was looking DAMN HOT!!! i have to say (sorry Jemma) that i didn't really notice his good lookedness until that episode..he looked so young in that eppy :D

lol, its ok ac, hehe, Im a champion pointer-out-ah of his looks, lol. For most of the first season re-runs (because I didnt really notice his looks until then) I would make some comment about his looks, to which mum would would reply with a 'I dont get it'! lol, now she just groans, lol

Hotch looks somehwere around 42-45..I'd be surrpised if hez older than that..but sure, man's got a killing personality..the role suits him fine..I first didn't really take note o' him..it ws only after watching some 5-6 episodes that I started liking him..hez coooooooollll :wub:

In Fisher King Part one......when Hotch is at home on his vacation he is talking to his wife and looking at his high school yearbook (he says he is a junior and she is in tenth grade) and the year is 1987 so assuming he was about 18 when he graduated high school that would put his age about 37 - 38? did I do the math right? I know Thomas Gibson is actually older than that.

And is that a little weird to have a brother who is only 25. I mean I know it's not unheard of but not really that common to have a 13 year age gap between siblings is it?

Yeah, you have done the maths right (well, if my appalling Maths is anything to go by! :P)

And yeah, it is slightly weird, I don't know anyone that has like a 13 year age gap, but maybe thats just me! *shrug*

The biggest age gap I know of is a 7 year one, between my Mum and Uncle, but there's another child in between (so it goes: Mum, Uncle 1, Unvle 2).
