Well what did we think of this episode?

Here is my humble opinoin. Not enough Reid. What the hell, get rid of the glasses already couldn't he at least have taken them off once this episode? Is it just me or is his hair getting shorter and shorter with each season 2 episode?
I guess towards the end of season 1 Reid was getting too popular and too sexy so now he is in the background with shorter hair and glasses from hell. (Which are actually Matthew Gray Gubler's personal glasses....creepy)

I thought the video portion was creepy, scary, and way too graphic, just me, but I didn't like it.

I liked how they showed a different side to Garcia with her reacting to the videos.

Anyone else?

From the preview of the next episode it looks like Hotchner has been changing, wondering why he is doing this kind of thing.....

so what there was less reid. this was a good show tonight. Mandy/Gedion is the lead anyway and that what he did. So, now I final got to see something other than reid solve every case. and beside, he did put together the sanario of what the unsub were about. So would you perfer it if Reid and not Morgan got into the fight or Reid not Elle and Hotch interviewed the mother or Reid and not Gedion figure out that the girl was the one who was in on the crime? Do ya?! :blink:

Come on give me a break we all have our favorite characters and want to see the most of them in every episode.
Someone else is probably very happy because there was more of Mandy and Shemar in these past two episodes.

yeah I glad that they feature someone other than Reid. Morgan is hte muscle in the group, but he is there for a reason like the others. And he should be featured too. but so should the others. Everyone on the show should shares in making this show happen.

Yeah, the video was WAY graphic. I LOVED the end scene with Garcia! I was like, awww... I wonder if she has past demons we will meet? Maybe, would be intersting to see a case that affected Garcia directly, especailly if it got her out of her office and into the world.

Oh, and Reid wasn't wearing glasses at the begining of the show >.> least I didnt see him in them. But I like the hair, and the glasses. Sadly though, there is a point; this isnt the Reid show. So we should enjoy each and every episode labeled Reid's, and all his moments between them :).

i have to say...i REALLY liked this episode...i thought that there was a perfect balance of all the characters. As for Reid's glasses...i didn't really like them...they kinda remind me of my priest's glasses...or maybe protective glasses when your woodworking....i loved how they showed a different side of Garcia...and of course...i am totally loving all the new looks...well...maybe not LOVING elle's...but i dont mind it all the same...

I totally agree. Those DVDs gave me creeps down my spinal cord (and it didn't helped that it was a full moon outside my window).
But in another way, the graphics of that footage are some of the stuff that make this series more serious and down-to-earth. I like it... in a way.

The beginning of this season has entirely been about sexual crimes. It's really nothing wrong with that, but I want something new and... genius - like a knife maniac on killing spree... or an "axe-desperado" or... something like that. But it has to be genius, of course.

I'm definitely looking forward to the next episodes (whick I will download, because of the slowness of Norwegian broadcasting! *Hello, 'Criminal Minds' Season 2 - some time in 2007!*). :|

I've managed to get a copy of this episode as it hasn't been shown where I live yet. It was creepy that's for sure. I don't like those glasses Reid is wearing. Since when did Reid have an eye sight problem - don't remember seeing any reference to the fact he had to wear glasses all of a sudden.

hah, it was a pretty creepy episode. sort of scary.

and not for nothing, but i don't like reid's new har style.. the old one was better.

anyways, not enough reid or gideon if you ask me. but it was still great. :)

The epsode was spead around fine. Or maybe I just happy to see my favorite charactor get some solid action. Even if it a fight scene. :D

Maybe they're decided to focus on each of the characters more instead of just one in particular. I like Reid a lot, but it's great that this episode showed a little more of Morgan B) , and I loved how they paired him with Gideon.

In fact, wouldn't it be great if they did an episode devoted entirely to each of the characters this season? That way the viewers can learn more about them like what attracted them to the BAU, what makes them tick, their likes and dislikes, how they got their training, more details about their personal lives, etc.

Also, I think Morgan is a lot more than just the muscle of the group. He brings his own expertise in to the group and he's a vital member. Also, SOMEONE has to kick down those doors, and I think he and Elle are it on those parts.

I like this episode, mostly because I called the identity of the unsub. I was so proud. My friend who was watching it with me didn't work it out, either.

I like Reid's hair as it currently is, but I don't get the glasses. I'd react better to them if there appeared to be any sort of consistency to when he wears them, but so far there hasn't been any! :P

... Maybe I'm being a bit harsh, though. I'll give them a few more episodes in which to establish some continuity about when the glasses are worn and when they aren't. :lol:

And on the topic of episodes being focused on certain people, I'm actually finding Criminal Minds to be odd. Usually on a show there'll be an episode centred around one particular character who isn't my favourite, and it'll bore me, and I'll get up and walk away, or crack open a book or something else that means I'm not watching as closely.

But, with Criminal Minds, I don't mind it when there's less focus on my favourite characters in one episode in favour of any of the others. It speaks well for the chemistry of the entire cast, I feel, when episodes can still be good and engaging, even when they don't involve my favourite characters overmuch (like this one, in fact. :P).

And, with that, I would just like to say that I loved Morgan in this episode. Seriously: if I ever need a bodyguard, I want him. :P

Being my bodyguard would be only one of Morgan's duties for me..... if you know what I mean. :D LOL!

I think I need your help ! lol I am watching this episode and I didn't understand what Dr Reid said about 5' mins after the credit in the plan, did he speak in French ? Did he said "Folie à deux" ? lol What a shame, I am French ! lol I couldn't found subtitle or script (http://www.kilohoku.com/cm.html). Nobody have a clue ? lol I quite sure, he said "Folie à deux" but I am not sure ! ^^

Okay.. I am going to write here the dialogue, be kind ! lol

"Again, it's the thrid time he look back at the camera"

Yeah, that's what he said. Or, at least, he said it at some point in the episode, not sure where. And it's obvious that he doesn't speak French very often.
