Where does everyone get those Criminal Minds avatars? My profile will only do sci-fi, Lord of the Rings, smileys and some base gallery.

If you go into the avatars thread you'll find lots of different CM avatars made by our members.

Just save the one you want to you and go into your avatar control panel. There is an option there to upload an avatar from your computer. Just click browse and find where you've saved the picture. Click on the picture and the document name will appear on the box. Then just click to update your settings.

anyways, just go to media, and then avatars/icons, and there are several posts with them. :)

I just tried to upload an avatar from my computer and got this message: You are not allowed to upload that type of file as an avatar or personal photo.

Can someone help?

check the image properties.. and make sure it is GIF, or JPG.. one that doesn't work is PNG i think.. so yeah, sometimes that messes it up.
