I found this image of J Karen Thomas on her website saying she was going to guest star as *President Ellen Turner* in the new series. I'm not sure though - it wasn't clear whether it meant the new series or the last and as I've missed three episodes I wasn't sure.

If I'm not being thick and it is the new series, does this mean that Gideon is going to be all rumpled and chest-hair showing? Because the rest of the cast seem to be in work clothes.

I'm sure you'll correct me if I'm wrong, and it's a nice piccy anyway.

I dont think I saw her in the 1st season but im not sure, maybe the only reason Gideons shirt is rumpled is because it looks like Reids hand is on Gideons shoulder, but i think its just a pic of the cast and her because they dont normally smile in their CM group pics

yes she was in the second episode of series one. She was the dean at the university.
