Title: Thomas Gibson
Description: Hey Ladies...

GideonsGirlAnanke - February 23, 2006 07:28 PM (GMT)
You'd have to be a rock (or a guy) not to notice that Tom is gorgeous.

True or false?

Opinions?

Hotchner'sAngel - February 26, 2006 04:12 AM (GMT)
Oh, yeah, you ain't kiddin'! lol :) I'll say this once and I'll say it again, he's got the looks and he seems to have the personailty. :) lol :) I just thought he was adorable on Dharma and Greg.

"You know you want it."-Kiera Knightly (Domino)

Sorry, had to put that in there. lol :)

Oh yeah, he's very good looking (although not the member of the cast I'm most attracted to) I think perhaps it's a bit strange after seeing him in the comedy Dharma and Greg to see him doing a more serious show.

Hey...I just realised Susan Sullivan (who played Greg's mum Kitty in Dharma and Greg) was in an episode of Dead Like Me (which of course starred the lovely Mandy Patinkin) she played a departed spirit who demanded to get in contact with her son so she could warn him about a business deal. :D

I love Thomas, but I'd like to see him smile a little more on this show. Yeah, there's not a lot to smile about, but Morgan and Reid seem to find the lighter side to things. He is such a great actor though. He is the main reason that I turned on CM. Him and Mandy, but I love crime dramas anyway.

I've only seen TG in Dharma and Greg and that was at 3am. Everything I see him in, he's in a suit (mind you, a guy in a well cut suit is hot no matter which way you look at it ;) but can't they dress him down just a bit? Or is that the lawyer inside? I mean in the last ep he wore a shirt (no tie), but on a weekend???

GideonsGirlAnanke - April 14, 2006 02:24 AM (GMT)
I can't even imagine him in so much as a "Kiss the Chef" apron!

Yeah that's soooo someone else ;)

He's just waaaaay too serious for my liking.. From the read I have on him... However, that could be a defence mechanism... A persona used to keep the world at a distance.

songfire - June 9, 2006 11:37 PM (GMT)
I love him! And the combination of Thomas and Mandy pretty much sold the show to me before I ever saw it ;)

And seriously - you want to see him in leather? and less? :D go watch "Love and Human Remains" - one of my all time fave movies!

ac5000 - June 10, 2006 02:15 AM (GMT)
no kidding...can he like...crack a smile for once...not hating him, but he's one of my least favorite characters on the show. Everyone else is bubbly enough to give him some of their bubbliness...

im pretty sure that didn't make a whole lot of sense...but you get the picture...

:P Maybe next season?

He does, though (crack a smile, that is) - the conversation with Garcia in "Blood Hungry" comes to mind, or the epilogue in "What Fresh Hell", the dinner at the chinese restaurant in "A Real Rain"...not to mention the brief interludes with his wife (f.e. the opening scene in "Extreme Agressor")

But I'm a fangirl and that's just mho :D If you want to see him emoting all over the place, see the movie I recommended in my last post ;)

Kyle - June 10, 2006 02:26 PM (GMT)
I've seen him smile, but he seems like teh serious kind of guy.

then again though, the show isn't supposed to be all funny and happy like NCIS, lol. No one really smiles except Garcia,l lol

I just thought he was adorable on Dharma and Greg.

No way is that the same guy! I knew I'd seen him somewhere before but I couldn't place him and a comedy was the last thing I was thinking! I'm so shocked. He looks the same and yet so completely different. Thomas Gibson's acting ability has just gone even further up in my estimation because to go from a role like Greg who is always smiling and joking to playing the very serious Hotch takes some doing. They are completely the opposite of one another. Wow, Dharma and Greg. I can't believe it! :P

I love TG no matter what he does!!! lol he is just LUSH, for want of a better word lol. i love it when he was at home in "Fisher King part 1" because we got to see him in a polo shirt! *squeals* Then Haley walked in and the moment was gone....

Mila - September 1, 2006 08:25 PM (GMT)
Haley... It's like one of the girls of "One Tree Hill", isn't it?

"Jemma Hotchner" is not better... :P

And "Haley" and "Elle" sound almost the same, no?

CriminalMind - September 2, 2006 09:37 AM (GMT)

OH. MY. FREAKIN'. GOD!!!!! :o I have just seen Thomas Gibson in Dharma and Greg (cant believe I have never seen this show before! Although it is on when Im in school, so, yeah!) and he is HAWT!!!! Im now scanning the internet for Dharma and Greg TG pictures, but, My Oh My!!!!! I am now addicted to this show!!!!
Its funny, yet kinda Will and Grace, and it has the gorgeous Thomas Gibson in it, so that makes up for any indescrestions it may have!!! I am such an idiot and didnt realise that TG was in this, until I turned it on 2 days ago and saw him!!! He looks sooooooo adorable in the credits at the begining, so young and, for lack of a better word, LUSH!!!!
I know, Im rambling, but, damn!!!! Why haven't I seen this show before???? Why???? I may now have to run home from school every day at 2 o'clock till 3 o'clock to see it lol!
But, yea, just wanted to sceal and sigh and ramble lol!

I saw this show again the other day...I thought it was awful! TG is about the only good thing in it :P

CriminalMind - October 21, 2006 11:22 AM (GMT)
Yeah, its pretty bad, but I have the bizarre sense of humour where I find really old, bad, corney jokes funny, so its a perfect show for me lol

fbi-sinrastro - October 21, 2006 05:44 PM (GMT)
What luck! I donīt have never seen it, only a few clips in Youtube. But if T.G leaves, it merit to watch it. :D

CriminalMind - October 29, 2006 03:38 PM (GMT)
Yeah, its not a brilliant show, you can tell they are trying to copy Will and Grace (IMHO) but I have a kind of humour where the worse the jokes, the funnier lol, so its my kind of show lmao!

I like Thomas in Chicago Hope but do not know much about the Dharma and Greg years. Did he seem to like doing that series? Thanks in advance for the info. :)

I agree with the above poster that said TG was the only good thing about D&G. I am not a fan of the Dharma character. Although TG's parents on it were hilarious. The thing was though that he played about as serious a character on that show as he does on this show. He was not the comic relief on D&G.

beaglebabes - December 3, 2006 04:32 PM (GMT)
I will check TIVO to see if it is in repeats. :)

CriminalMind - December 3, 2006 08:38 PM (GMT)
Yeah, it was more what he said, he was the straight laced one, the funny, but not Laugh Out Loud funny, whereas Dharma is the hippie, yoga teacher, who was more like a child, lol. But I really want to find a pic of TG from the beginning creds, because his hair looks gorgeous! I shall try and cap of YouTube, the colors go funky, but still good! lol

I dunno, to me there's something quite appealing about him playing the "serious guy". And then on those occasions where you do see that big, beautiful smile (in just the right time and place!), it's has so much more of a "Squueeeeeeee!" factor (view high-pitched girly voice).

Kind of like that for all the characters though, it's not really a hugely "smiley" show, but rather they are great at putting in those moments at perfect times and for perfect results (back to that "Squeee" factor).

Same here! Aw, I think the reason we love his smile is because we don't get to see it that often! :P

I haven't had the chance to say this, but I really dig THomas GIbson as Hotch.

I used to watch Chicago Hope but, sadly, don't remember him much from that show -- I know he was on it but I remember Mandy more. Don't know why, I just do. I remember Dharma and Greg but I didn't really watch the show because, honestly, I couldn't stand it.

I was thrilled to see that Thomas was so good as Hotch - perfect mixture of strength and vulnerablity (just watch any episode where the parent/child dynamic is a focus) that I gotta say really hits me.

Oh, and I doesn't hurt that he isn't all that bad looking :P

Okay, done, just felt like sharing... ...

CriminalMind - March 11, 2007 04:01 PM (GMT)
lol, aw Im gald you shared! Im trying to get my hands on Chicago Hope, but can't find anything on YouTube nor on any channels in England, which is slightly sucky! But, as I have a very corny sense of humour, I love Dharma and Greg, so I can watch that a bit.

Yes, TG is an awesome actor, I mean just look at 'Riding the Lightning' That was such a strong eppie, for all the actors/actresses. And yes, him being lush does help things along quite considerable! :P
