I really liked this one...although I spent most of the time trying to place one of the guest actresses. (The mother was the woman who played Inititive boss Maggie Walsh in Buffy.)
I liked the whole crutches side-story, as it gave each character a chance to shine.
Bit shocked with the Steven thing at the end though...
Things I liked:
Getting to see Garcia in something other than a facial close up.
The piano teacher's house (I just thought it was pretty - minus the blood)
The druggie guy - wonderfully played. From the second he appears in his grey pants you know it's not him (although frankly I could have done without the close up of them)
The choirboy - what a singer! His parents will *weep* when his voice breaks.

The freaked-out drug addict, 'Domino Thacker,' was played by Doug Jones, who played 'Abe Sapien' in Guillermo del Toro's film HELLBOY.
He has the best time filming 'Blood Hungry' and had a fantastic response from both cast and crew regarding his performance. He said when he first read the script that 'Domino' was just so pathetic he just had to love on him from the inside, and I think he did a great job!
Oh, and he wasn't too enthralled with the pants either, and considering it was filmed in November and he ain't exactly fat, he felt a bit of a chill!
This is a great forum, BTW, and found it this morning when I was looking for responses on last night's screening of 'Blood Hungry' here in the UK for Dougie's site. I love CM, and shall hang around, if that's okay!!
And that lad had the most beautiful voice!!!!! Wow.

Hi there Hellmistress,
Please do stick around! I had a little look at that sight and there was a picture of one of The Gentlemen from the Buffy ep "Hush". Did he play one of those too? That would be two funny if he did - as both he and the lady who played Mary Mays in this episode were guest actors in the same season!
We're always looking for new members - so I hope you do want to stick around. B)

Yes, indeed he did play the Lead Gentleman, a role of which he is very fond. He is the one who spends a lot of his time using a scalpel with such charm and grace ... soooo creepy! That's a cool bit of trivia, with the two actors in the same CM episode both being from the same season of Buffy!
And I will certainly be sticking around, as I love the series. I came to it as a fan of Mandy Patinkin, and discovered a very well written series with a great cast. And then when Dougie was cast in this episode, my fate was sealed, as it were. :D
