I loved this episode!! OMG when Prentiss had a hangover and snapped at JJ that was hilarious! That's Vegas baby!! The Young & the Restless shout out was so cute. I was wondering for a week how they would plan JJ's labor. JJ's denial that she was due in 3 weeks and Reid needs her was touching and funny at the same time. I'm glad Garcia noticed her wincing and her comment in the bullpen "I'm not a doctor or even play one but i think our young JJ is in labor" I LOVED IT!! Prentiss' comment to Todd was cool as well. I was waiting for Reid's case to be over so i could see what happened with the labor. But 15 HOURS!! WOW!! Though i was taken by suprise when JJ had Reid alone. I thought she was going to ask if she could name her baby Spencer but a god father! That's funny to think of him with a kid. But THE coolest god parent is Garcia!! I have to give it to the writers this was a good episode. OH and young Reid was sooo cute and Jane Lynch was awesome with the drama. Bravo, CM, Bravo!
Peace Out B)

That's interesting that JJ wasn't due for three weeks. Do you think they induced labor so that AJ would have her kid on the show?

I'm not too happy with the late direction which the series seriously is going into. Now some of the so-called Criminal Minds-fans don't even care about the series' main plot—profiling—anymore, but instead so eagerly want to see soap stuff like labour/maternity ward (like it's not enough with Grey's Anatomy, Desperate Housewives etc.).
Personally, I thought the case with Reid's «ghost» from the past was so exciting and interesting, that I couldn't care less about the whole labour thing. I actually thought the episode's ending was quite boring.
I hope this was it with the childbirth, and that the series' focus is back on the real track from now on. Rather lose some fans if necessary, but this Criminal Minds—not «Grey's Anatomy».

I liked it.
It was nice for a change to see the group have a good time at
the end. Even Hotch smiled on occassion. The whole group is lucky
to not just be a "team" but being family.
I love the actress who plays Reid's mom. (bad with names as
usual) Most of us have our past. Reid was lucky to face his
past with some help.
I think it's great that they did it this way with JJ. If any of you
remember X-Files, how they tried to hide Dana's pregnancy, and that
was annoying. Yes, us fans were dumn enough not to notice her
pregnancy. Even after all of the news.
It was good, and new to see them have fun for once.

I liked the little labour plot sideline. No, I wouldn't like it if it focussed on that all the time. But to see the team outside of being profilers is nice. It what makes shows like 'CM', 'CSI' 'SVU' (in a way) keep audiences where others have failed. If it was just the cases, no development, no 'family' moments, it would suck. Besides, if Reid can continually explore his past, why can't JJ have her baby?
But I do love this episode. Reid's mum is so awesome 'If he stays any longer I'll scratch your eyes out!' Jane Lynch is a genius, I'm totally in love with her! :D
