Hey everyone. I'm new here. Name's Akki, and I'm a 16-year-old Indian girl in England. I've lived in Lancashire for about ten or so many years, but I'm not too British (never called my friends 'mates' or referred to anyone as a 'bloke', for example) or Indian.

I'm a big fan of Buffy, so one day I read on Nicholas Brendon's website that he'd appeared on Criminal Minds as Kevin Lynch. Didn't think too much of it at the time, but later on that night I saw CM just happened to be on, so I watched 3.09 Penelope, and was impressed enough to watch the next episode. No Brendon, but I did get to see Frankie Muniz from Malcolm In The Middle, and I did start thinking Hotch was cool, so I started watching. Not sure when CM shot from 'above average' to 'how is it not Wednesday yet?!', but I'm glad it happened. I've seen almost all of season 3 now, with the exception of a couple before Penelope.

Seen most (but not all, and I missed most of the Elle arc) of season 1, the first few of season 2 (the airing order keeps getting screwed up. 3.04 aired after 2.09, and things liken that) and all of season 3, as well as 4.03 Minimal Loss on the internet, which furthered my Prentiss love. I more or less know about everything I haven't seen in season 2 - especially the Reid arc.

Things about me... short, wear glasses, talk a bit fast, not that any of that matters here. I play guitar - taking lessons in classical and just looking up tabs for rock songs on my electric, though I can't sing rock, just warm and fuzzy things. Very into music, and listen to bands like The Eagles (hate their latest album), The Killers, Green Day (not just American Idiot, in case the die-hards are silently mocking me), Nickelback, Nirvana, Oasis (earlier stuff is better) and Coldplay. Getting into a bit of Lostprophets and Foo Fighters. Used to be into Eminem, Fall Out Boy, Panic At The Disco and Blink 182. Also like some Decemberists, Paramore, AC/DC, Audioslave, David Bowie and Cream.

None of my friends watch CM (well, one of them does, but she loves Reid and has no opinion on Emily), so I just googled 'Criminal Minds forum', because I'm sad like that, and got this forum.

Anyway, that's every interesting thing about myself I can think of. Also, I wear glasses. . . . . Someone wave to me here. Anyone? No? Ah. Well. Alrighty then.

Yeah, I hate the airing of re-runs over here, although if you have Sky or Virgen Media or something, the channel Virgen seems to be doing an OK job, as is LivingTV, although they do get a tad confused, blesss 'em!

Have to say, I love the bands you're into. Green Day, Nickelback, Nirvana, Lost Prophets, Fall Out Boy, Panic! At The Disco, and Blink 182. I've got a friend who adores AC/DC but I can't say I've ever been into really heavy metal, or too much of rock. I have to be inthat sorta mood!

So yeah, now I've officially gotten sidetrack, consider yourself waved in! :D

Woo! I'm not alone in the land of the four-eyed strummers! To be honest, I've only got the most recent Lostprophet album: Liberation Transmission, which is a little less hard rock and more emo than most of their stuff. But I like Burn Burn from Start Something, and a few songs from Thefakesoundofprogress. Going to nab the new Killers and Nickelback albums from my gracious friends.

I've got Sky and Virgin, but my Sky + messed up last Friday, so it didn't record 2.11 Sex, Birth & Death. Hope I don't miss Profiler, Profiled though. So, anyone else an Emily fan? How about an Emily-JJ shipper?

I'm a fan of Emily, but can't say she's a fave of mine. And the Emily/JJ ship is one I'm coming around to, but I'm not quite there yet!
