Alright, my brother worked at the same place I do since a month or so and he met this girl…I don't really know her name…she's new, but I thought she was a nice girl, and wednesday she and my brother went to a flick after work, so I saw them there and wished them a good time and stuff.
Next morning when I got up to go to school I walk into the room next to mine (the library/my artplace/guestroom/place where I brush my teeth and put on make-up) and I notice someone is sleeping in the bed, I figured it was a friend of my brothers and do my toiletaries somewhere else.
After school I come home at night and I find the girl from work sitting at our dining table…I figured she was the one who I had seen that morning to and say hello, ask her how the movie was, we talk a little, she stays for supper, watches the news with us and then my brother and she leave because he was going to take her home.
After she leaves my mom remarks she finds it kind of weird a friend of my brothers stays at our house all day while my brother is away working.
So half an hour later, the bell rings and there are three police agents at the door, they talk with my folks and my father shows them where the girl spend the night (not even in the same room as my brother)
By midnight my brother is home again, my father went down to the police office waiting for him to be released.
Apperently the girl had a problem with her parents and had sms-ed she was being held against her will as an explaination why she wasn't home all day and night (she's over eighteen btw)
that she was held by some tall guy (my brother is well…rather tiny) who speaks bad english in a house somewhere…what lamy excuse is that!
Just my brother has been fired/quit his job at the cinema (they called him up just after he'd gotten there this morning, they had been called by the parents of that girl) and well I'm not sure if there's a documentation, they told my father when he asked (he's a lawyer so he was kinda on top of everything)

Weird right!
I mean using kidnapping as a reason why you weren't home is like idiotic, mean if her parents are going to be pissed because she didn't come at night then when they find out she lied to them like this they probably are going to be fuming…and no one is going to believe you afterwards and my brother got arrested and everything because of it, I really don't get how someone makes up that kind of excuse…

That's just awful! I hate how good people always end up getting screwed over by psychotic evil people like that. From what you've told me, I don't see how they could have a case. What does the girl say? Is she accusing your brother of kidnapping? Even if she was, it wouldn't stand. She was free to leave at any time (I don't know how it works there, but in Canada at least, in order to prove that even if the kidnapper leaves you can't leave there has to be some imminent threat; like if you leave I'll kill your family, or if you leave there's a bomb wrapped around your ankle that'll go off. The latter is actually the plot of the latest Flashpoint ep. But yeah. That's OT.) You said that she hung around the house all day while your bro was gone. So she could have left at any time. It's not like your parents locked her inside or anything. And didn't they think it was weird she was there? So yeah. I don't see how this will stand. Her parents are just pissed that she left, and it's a family issue that you guys shouldn't be dragged into.
