Does anyone agree with me that Hotch needs to find some one even a fling like Reid and Lila. Everybody needs some love right?

I guess, everyone does need some love, BUT Hotch is so much of a "director" style that if he has something, it will have to be serious and not something brief. Moreover, he has just come out from a difficult divorce. Face it, Hotch, is a family guy and he is not probably going to be in another relationship especially now he knows that his job and a "full-time" husband don't get along.
Don't get me wrong, I 'd really like to see Hotch putting his life together (and more than anything I'd like to see him get back with Haley) but it would be totally surreal and out of character.

That's how I feel, and I stand by it.
And Hotch deserves better than Haley.

I agree. I couldn't really see Hotch doing a short fling thing. He's too serious for that. He has too much responsibility and too many worries, and been damaged by life too much to be that carefree. And he's definitely not ready for a new fling, so soon after Haley. I think he needs time on his own, figuring out how to balance the job and Jack.

Hotch's blunt response to JJ in the finale. There is more than meets the eye.
And those who disagree fine, but that won't stop us hoping for them.

Kiane, calm down... you come off a little angry.
At the very least in the season finale, JJ and Hotch came off as very good friends, and, if I recall correctly, JJ, Morgan, Reid and Hotch were the first members of "our" team, so it would be only natural to be such good friends.
As for the hoping part, you should hope! Why not? We are not the writters, we are just discussing our thoughts on the show, it's nothing final. The fact that there are so many thoughts over things, shows that the show is a rather good one and quite unpredictable. And yes, you never know, it may be decided later on to hook Hotch and JJ.
(I apologise if I, too, come off too strong, it wasn't my intention)
