Which bands do YOU see as "EMO"? I see way to many bands in the "EMO" category and I would like to now whatyou think.

( I hope this doesen´t offend anybody. Where I live EMO is a very fragile issue but I don´t really now if it´s like that everywhere.)

Sunny Day Real Estate is an example of an emo band.

Bands like 30 Seconds To Mars, My Chemical Romance, Fall Out Boy, Avenged Sevenfold, Paramore, etc. are not emo bands. They're alternative.

But now emo is a stereotype for a certain way people dress. It's stupid. -.-

Real stupid. I have never listend to EMO bands, it´s not my cup of tea, but I get called Emo on a daily basis. Just because I have cat ears on doesn´t mean I´m EMO :angry:

I hate it when people say "you can´t call me emo, emo´s music." hello ,so is goth, rock and rap to but we still call them goth etc.
