Okay... so, the season finale... it left me a little unsettled (I mean, I KNEW something would happen to Elle when she left Quantico)... but I'm wondering if any one of you have heard anything about changes to the cast in season 2.... coz, from what I saw... there's not much of a chance that she'd get out of the situation without getting seriously injured... I am kinda jinxed that the characters I like on a tv show normally has to leave mid-way through.... any specs. / guesses / idea of how it's going to pan out?

yea...i was wondering that too cause there was a rumor going that lola glaudini (elle) wasn't going to return and what happened in that episode would have been the perfect way to kill her off. If that rumor hadn't gone around, we wouldn've known that elle wouldn't be killed...i really hope she isn't killed... :unsure:

I have heard NOTHING about Lola wanting to leave...If you go to the CBS Criminal Minds page, you will see lots of video clips where Lola talks about how much she loves working on Criminal Minds and that she loves being the only female agent...and that she thinks of all her male actors as her brothers...So to me, she sounded very happy to have this job...Plus each cast member is usually signed for at least 5-6 years...that's the norm...And there is nothing that says that Lola wants to leave! And they would never fire Lola...she is the ONLY female agent in the field working with all males...I mean Garcia is just the comic relief sidekick sort of character...And JJ hasn't had much screen time either...she is the publicity person...This show NEEDS Elle, the only female that can go to do field work with the other guys...Otherwise, it's an all male show with only two minor female characters, Garcia and JJ...And no show usually kills one of the main characters in the very first season!

Elle is NOT dead guys! First of all, we only HEARD the gun shot...We did not see the bullet hit Elle...Remember, another agent took her home! I believe that the shot that was fired was from that other agent...I don't believe Elle got shot at all. Usually when characters are murdered, you can clearly SEE that they are dead and that there is no way to save them...In LOST, characters that die are obviously dead...So because, we don't know who fired the shot, and who got hit with the bullet...We saw nothing at all...I'm a 110 percent sure that Elle is just fine!

My speculation is that the other agent shot his gun but missed the killer and so the killer was able to escape...and Elle is unharmed...My other thought is that maybe everything was set up purposely by the team...Like they KNEW that going into the media would piss the killer off and maybe make him come out of his hiding...Which is exactly what had happened...So maybe Elle was a bait...I mean I don't think the team is stupid enough to let her go home knowing that this killer knows where every single member of the team lives...That's too dangerous...Even Hotch had his wife and baby stay at the hotel because it's so dangerous...just like Gideon talked about how he no longer had a place to go to in order to escape all the chaos in his life...The clues are there. I can almost guarantee that it's all a set up...Our team is too smart to let one of their own go home in such danger!

Also Elle was definitely NOT acting like herself on the vacation when she was dancing with that guy! It did look like she was drugged as someone said on this board! She also looked exhausted and was very cranky in the morning when the police arrested her. Maybe that dark haired guy WAS the killer! Or an accomplice! Plus where did that guy go? I mean I thought Elle and that guy spent the night together! But the guy just disappeared in the thin air...Also there was something strange about Morgan's buddy who HELPED them get the rooms...Hmmm...Lots of clues, guys!

Also remember at the beginning of the episode, Reid said that his mom had always said that it was like her son was on his different adventures...hmm...and then later the killer said that it was the start of an adventure! Perhaps a clue? I mean it was weird how Reid talked about his mom using the same word to describe her son's job...hmmm...and the young one holds the key, that could also be interpreted as a metaphorical clue...like how he not only literally has the key but also is the key to solve the puzzle...We need to know more about his mom...And why he did not want to see her...

GREAT episode! I LOVED it! And I am not worried about Elle at all even though she is my favorite character...She won't be harmed...It is too early to kill one of the main characters...The question is who will save her? I bet it's definitely one of her teammates...

Not so much as a spoiler or something but I don't think the team will have any clue abut Elle being trapped or so because they were all in disarray in the end like they have no idea what will happen. even Gideon looks lost... yet I do agree that Elle lives and the gun shot was just a trick or some way to get attention from the killer so Elle will just stand still. I also speculate that Morgan wil not be in love with her cause it is so predictable and boring that the leads to have relationship nowadays. In spite of they didn't have much of ascene together JJ and Reid will hook up by the help of Gideon i guess...

I can't wit to see if my predictions are true and what the writers fascinate me with....

If you go to CBS.com and check out the Criminal Minds page on the Fall Preview Lola is no where to be found. Even JJ and Garcia as secondary characters make it onto the roster and pictures. This could be to throw us off and make us think she is dead, or she really is off the show which would suck because she is great, as are they all, and if they try to bring in another female agent to replace her she will probably not be well liked because we, as an audience, have invested some emotion into "our" characters. For example, when Adan gor fired from CSI:NY it took a while to get over being mad she was off the show and then we had to accept Montana right away? It takes time to accept new characters and for a show as new as Criminal Minds it's a bad idea.

*sigh*... I KNOW I am jinxed... I'm actually starting to like Elle...

Yeah... I agree with what you're saying. It's like... Criminal Minds' a show that rely rather heavily on character interaction, and at this point, I feel pretty content about the way the team are working with one another...

But then, if you have to kick someone off the show, I'd much rather they do it after the first season... when we have much less invested with the characters and will much more easily accept the absence... think back to NCIS, when Kate was killed off, all h*ll broke loose and I think they were close to getting hate mail from fans... so, I guess, if they HAVE to make Elle leave, after the 1st season would be the best way to go... though now they're leave without an active female agent in the field for the team (I mean, JJ's more admin than profiling, right?)

I'm not happy :( , but... oh well...

She better not be off the show. She's awesome, lol

yea...i was checkin out some season2 promo pics (dont ask where i found them because i was in a hospital recovering from a major concussion at that time and im not sure where i was looking) and lola was in one of the group pics so...

The Criminal Mind page is the one for Season 1... when Kate was killed off in NCIS, CBS had her picture still on the show's page til December of the next season.

ac5000 - if you happen to rediscover the promo pic, can you let me know where? I wanna see it too! I wanna convince myself that Lola's not out *grin*... though, I still can't get past the missing of Lola's name on the season 2 poster when AJ Cook and Kirsten are on WITH their character name...

Maybe it's a hoax to let us think that Elle's gone??? Yes, I'm desperately grasping something...

I still cannot locate the page you are talking about where Lola is not on...The only page I found on CBS.com is the main one that has Lola in it...

I don't know if I'd still watch since both Elle and Morgan are my favorite characters...If one of them is killed, that would be the end of CM for me anyway...I HATE when main characters are killed...It's useless and unnecessary... :(

Hey guys we all talk about Elle and if she is gonna die etc. etc. I watched the season finale once more 2 see if I missed anything and I guess every1 did because there is no package sent 2 Morgan even Garcia and J.J. gets something but not Morgan. So I think the book might not be the 1s we think it iis and it might come 2 Morgan. It sorts of shifts the perspective doesn't it ????? :)

P.S: ý checked every piece of site that gives detailed TV episode explanation none of them says anything about Elle cut from the show. It was just rouse for the audience...

You know, I saw that promotional pic a few days ago, and now it's gone...lol...what if the pic is fake? It does not look real to me at all...

Either way, I still feel that Elle is not dead...She won't be killed off. The gun shot we heard was from one of her team members...I'm almost sure about that...

Whatever happened to that code that someone said that he/she figured out about the entire book...I asked that person to tell me what they know, and they didn't respond...

I wondered about them luring their un-sub out of the shadows (why would they send Haley to a hotel and not the other members of the BAU?)... Only issue with that is they can't catch him within the first two minutes of next season’s episode.

The other thing that's been bugging me is the time it would take to cock and fire a gun, which is why I was leaning towards either Anderson I think his name was (the agent that drove Elle home) having a sense that something was a miss and shooting the un-sub through the window (thank goodness for the French-like styled door), or Gideon or Hotch calling him and having him move Elle to a hotel (if it wasn't a trap set for the un-sub and a mistake).

*N.B.: I hope I'm not repeating too much info... I haven't really read through eveyone's thoughts on the subject as yet.

I just found out... Lola's on the panel for the CM press tour for CBS....

I hate to be a pessimist.. really I do.. and I'm not saying that this is going to happen because Id rather it not... but.. of course Lola would be in the second part of the Fisher King.... someone would have to find her body... and/or they might have a small little funeral or flashbacks or something... not that I want that to happen

She's also credited for ep number two though. I like Elle, it wouldn't be the same if they killed her off. On IMDB, it also mentions a Robert Greenaway, maybe Elle's brother or something?.I really hope we get to see more of the families of the characters next season!

It's close to August, so that would mean casting for the season premier should be done, right? So, I guess I can trust the imdb information

we see a paramedic and a surgeon on the casts list... so... I guess it'd be fair to say that Elle would live to get to the hospital at least, thus eliminating the idea that the unsub kill her out right at her home? Obviously, Rebecca would need a paramedic when they were found too, but those paramedic usually won't be credited with a speaking "credited" role, and surgeon... guess for Elle?

*sigh*... wish September would come soon... at least some trailer!

yeah....thats what i thought too...and the only paremedic that was actually credited was the surgeon guy in the episode LDSK, but he was also a suspect...im not really a big fan of Elle...but it still wouldn't be the same without her...although, i found her REALLY annoying in the season finale...

Still haven't seen the season finale but Elle did annoy me in one ep.You guys are so lucky that the next season starts so soon! We have to wait till next year!

Elle's gonna make it. She's got to. I mean, without her, it's JJ and Garcia. No lead female in the BAU team ( given that JJ and Garcia are less involved with the actual "action") it just doesn't work. I don't know, that's just me thinking aloud.
Plus I kinda :wub: Elle.

They won't take her off the show. she's too popular, and i don't see her being on any other shows yet, or in movies, which shows that she may not be able to because they are making CM episodes.. Let's hope..

anyways, we'll just have to wait and see. :)

i doubt that she'll be taken off the show too...and nothing against the actress whom im sure is great, but she just annoys the crap out of me...part of me hopes she goes but then the other (bigger) part of me hopes she stays...i absolutely HATE it when characters are killed off whether i like them or not and it usually ends up with me not watching it anymore... :(

It's often sad when they kill a character off, whether you liked them or you didn't.

I just watched Charm and Harm, found Hotch annoying for some reason.

Elle shouldnt be killed off. She's like.. The so-called 'hot-kick-a$s-chick'. There's always one. And she's it. If they kill her off, they have to replace her with someone else and we fans wont be quite happy, would we?

well..elle..(especially in the season finale) is really really really pessimistic...i get that she's supposed to be tough and all, but it just bugs me how everyone is trying to get the clues together and elle was complaining about the police raid...for the thousandth time...

but that might just be me...nothing against the actress or any elle fans out there
