"In Heat" - Hotchner, Rossi and their team travel to Miami to catch a serial killer whose conflicted sexual identity fuels his crime spree. During the trip, J.J. meets up with a former colleague who turns out to be more than a friend, on CRIMINAL MINDS.

I do not like Tia. But I hope for it that my opinion changes after the episode. :) :)

You guys could have been right!!! This guy could be the baby's daddy?!! But what is he doing in Miami? Moved away from New Orleans after the hurricane to get a new start?

I wasn't very crazy about this guy, so I'm not too excited about this! :(

Sounds like we get a Reid episode and then a JJ episode!

Oh my gosh, maybe Will is going to be the baby's daddy! I would prefer that to a stranger! But it would feel rather odd...maybe she'll have a one night stand with him? It's kind of a big commute between Miami and Virginia for them to be in a relationship.

I am in shock that they're bringing him back...

I have no clue who Tia is!

I don't know who Tia Texada is either. I never saw third watch.

woohooo! LaMontagne's coming back! i LOVED him and JJ together (of course...not as much as JJ and Reid, but he'll have to do) i just want to find out their story. thats all :lol:

So is JJ gonna get pregnant in this one or is she already pregnant and her relationship is going to be revealed? So many questions!

This episode sounds like the best yet!!! But what i was never clear on was...was JJ already pregnant after the strike or are they going to make her pregnant after this episode? Either way this episode is hopefully gonna be awesome! I could see like Josh Stewarts character trasferring to Miami for a fresh start, or JJ already got pregnant and told him but he flipped and left so that would explain the JJ hating men part but now Josh Stewarts character got JJ and the team down to Miami to talk to her and figure out a case...this is all assuming Josh Stewarts character either moved to Virginia or took a little vacation to Virginia and resides in Miami but never told JJ. This is a very big IF for me but i'm still processing this new info. Can't wait!!!

BUT..... :( I hate La Montagne!!!!!

I hate it although I suspected it that he will be the key to the riddle <_< <_< <_< <_<

Oh i just heard the news.......I think it's great that they are gonna write the pregnancy into the story rather than get rid of JJ or hide her behind stuff which never works but i will tell you this......It better be a freakin better storyline that they did on Stargate Atlantis when they wrote Rachel's pregnancy into the show.....

To say i was disappointed with the supposed "storyline" is an understatement and i'm not the only one.....At the end of season 3 Teyla (that's the name of her character) confesses to having Feelings for someone,presumably John Sheppard then in S4 in the seventh ep she's talking about this guy that we have never seen or never even heard of,he just popped up outta the blue..Then at the end of the ep she finds out she's pregnant and we still haven't seen this guy because her people are missing,they've been kidnapped.....So practically the whole season went by without seeing him and then in the third last ep we finally get to see him but he's being controlled by the person that kidnapped him....There is absolutely no chemistry whatsoever between the two it isn't even funny....

So how are we supposed to believe in this story if it's all a case of "by the ways"

It's like oh by the way i'm seeing someone,then oh by the way i'm pregnant....I mean talk about blindsiding the viewers....The worst of it is,because it's a sci-fi show there were so many great possibilities they could have done and they probably chose the worst one they could possibly choose.......The guy is just a plot device and not a vey good one at that so i very much hope that they at least give AJ a decent storyline to go with!!!

OMG OMG OMG!!! I cannot believe they're gonna make LaMontagne the father!!!!

I find this oddly comforting, actually. I think I'm starting to like the idea of him being the daddy better than a stranger because 1. we already know he's a sweet guy who would treat JJ right, and 2. there's an increased chance he would stick around and TPTB would not get JJ pregnant, have her give birth, and then totally forget the kid's existence. This allows the chance for a storyline, so that, me likey.

For some reason I like it when they go to Florida. Don't ask me why. I guess maybe the eps where they've been south around there have been good.

Oh, and I guess I now take back what I said in the A Higher Power thread about being doubtful that we would EVER get a JJ centric epi. We are! It's just that someone can't count! Woohoo! :P

So, the question is were they already communicating or do they just happen to run into each other.....let me think about that. Atm I'm not leaning towards either option. I guess, "JJ meets up with an old friend who turns out to be more than a friend" kind of makes it seem like they've already been...erm, enjoying each other's company. Turns out to be...that's the part I'm focusing on there. But that would annoy me because we haven't hada single hint of that since Jones! :rolleyes:

This ep also looks like one where we get a nice chunk of case mixed in with the drama, which I like. I'm hoping for a good balance.

So if you couldn't tell already, I'm definitely excited about this ep. ;)

ETA: Hey, wait a minute. Do we not get an ep on the 23rd? Elephant's Memory is the 16th, and this one is the 30th. What a rip!!! We've gone how long without eps and we still have to endure reruns? :rolleyes:

its a rerun of 3rd Life on the 23rd.

im pretty darn excited that its going to be Lamontagne too! i just hope that the accent is either better or gone. i really couldn't stand it in Jones.

and they have to have been communicating since Jones. I mean, JJ doesn't seem like the type to have gotten knocked up and then start dating some other guy while preggers with another guys baby! :lol:

Hmm, you know what? I think that might be Josh Stewart's real accent. After reading this I realized that he's a regular on that Courteney Cox show, Dirt (which I'm falling in love with, btw. You all must watch it!), and he has that kind of accent on it too. And that show's set in Hollywood.

For a while I was wondering if having that other show would mean they could still bring him on CM for more than one ep, but apparently Jones aired during the time that Dirt's first season was airing, so if he could do both then he could do both now.

But then again, it comes back to a 'Do we trust the writers to give us that much?' kind of thing. :rolleyes:

Oh yeah, one more thing: Tonight's preview really did not look like the description listed here. They actually mentioned an angel of death and making murders look like suicides. It sounded an awful lot like A Higher Power. Did CTV just screw up and show the wrong preview?

Did anyone see the preview for "In Heat"...intense. And it looked like JJ was talking to Lamontagne or something saying "It's my business!" Oh this is so cool!!

ahhh! i completely forgot about watching for previews!!! if anyone can find one.. :D

Ok so it looks like i'm the only one who has seen it, and sorry but i did tape it on my VCR but i don't know how to post stuff like videos on the internet :( , but the preview from CBS was started out with them talking about the killer and how he doesn't just kills his victims but takes there lives then they show Reid saying "he disappears into his victims" THEN a profilers biggest secret (cut to JJ telling someone "it's my business" and you can only see a shoulder but from the height and he wasn't wearing a suit it seemed like Josh Stewart's character) will be revealed.
Also they called her a PROFILER (even though she technically isn't) thats cool!!!
Hope this helps some of you who didn't see the preview

Also i noticed when she said "its my business" there was another shot of her on a bridge or something and she had a purse and jacket. I'm thinking DATE with Josh Stewarts character!!!

Is it just me or does it look like JJ was talking to Morgan when she said, "it's my business!"

It might just be the lighting but it looked like someone with darker skin. Although promo's tend to be really misleading.

Anyways, I'm nervous & excited to see how they handle this!
