I've noticed that, they do have a lot of cases in Texas. What's up with that? I'm sure there are other States they've never been to.
So I'm not getting the title. What's so special about an elephants memory? Is it long, short? What?
I love this show! - March 27, 2008 09:47 PM (GMT)
Isn't an elephant supposed to have a really good memory? (they never forget?) Or is it the opposite.....they have a really bad memory. <_< No I think they are supposed to have a good memory. So what in Texas is never forgotten??? <_<
CM Addict - March 27, 2008 09:50 PM (GMT)
The Alamo?
I have no idea.....You don't think it's gonna be one of those revenge cases again, do you?
linny - March 28, 2008 11:38 AM (GMT)
Thanks for the info Jentzer.
only think going through my mind is NEW EP NEW EP NEW EP :P hahaha
Special Agent Jentzer - March 28, 2008 05:14 PM (GMT)
I'm not sure about elephants...but I want to see "horton hears a who"
and as far as the title.....Elephant's Memory was a New York band most notable for backing up John Lennon and Yoko Ono during 1972 (appearing as the Plastic Ono Elephant's Memory Band) on a pair of albums and a handful of TV and live appearances.
Two of their songs appeared earlier in the soundtrack to the movie Midnight Cowboy B) , "Jungle Gym At The Zoo" and "Old Man Willow". :)
however.......from my handy dandy FBI profiler handbook.....and in my favorite SSA Elle Greenaway voice over.... :(
| QUOTE |
A spree killer, also known as a rampage killer, is someone who embarks on a murderous assault on his victims in a short time in multiple locations.
The U.S. Bureau of Justice Statistics defines a spree killing as "killings at two or more locations with almost no time break between murders."
Serial killers are different in that they have cooling off periods between attacks, while mass murderers typically stick to one location. |

Huh? Sorry, I know this happens a lot, but I'm confused again.
I sorta stumbled onto something the other day that confirmed that an elephant does have a very long memory (and yeah, I saw the band thing when I googled it too ;)). So what else could that mean, besides revenge?
Special Agent Jentzer - April 5, 2008 06:41 PM (GMT)
i'm cofused as well....what does the title have to do with the show...
either or...hot off the press!!

Now that looks like my kinda CM ;) I've been waiting for a Reid episode and this looks like it's gonna be very Reid centric ;) Definitely a little creepy and stirring...what trauma is Mr Reid going to be going through this time?
Thanks :)

I'm looking forward to this next episode! I hope it's as good as the trailer looks! We haven't had a "Reid" epsiode in season three....it's been quite awhile since we've had one.
Luna - April 10, 2008 11:33 PM (GMT)
Me like, me like, me like me like!
ME CANīT WAIT!
CM Addict - April 13, 2008 05:32 PM (GMT)
Thanks for posting that Jentzer, it DOES look good. I think this is what Bernero meant when he said they were gonna readdress the Reid drugs thing (something I believe they were hinting at in A Higher Power, that scene between Reid and Emily), which is nice because I didn't like how they handled it (or didn't handle it, rather) last season.
Special Agent Jentzer - April 13, 2008 05:34 PM (GMT)
I was watching CTV (canadian TV) last night and they showed the following (Very different) preview......

CM Addict - April 13, 2008 05:44 PM (GMT)
Nice. I like it when CTV decides to do a different preview, so we can get two perspectives on it (of course it seems like they pick out of a hat which weeks they'll actually SHOW the preview immediately following the ep). I liked hearing more about the case itself in that one.
So then it IS a revenge theme. Okay then, glad I finally got an answer to that. ;)
I love this show! - April 13, 2008 06:32 PM (GMT)
That is quite a different promo - but I still hope it's a "Reid" episode!
Rach112 - April 13, 2008 06:34 PM (GMT)
What's with the different promos?! I thought there was just one...
I prefer the second one though ;) And it still looks like we'll see plenty Reid :D
CM Addict - April 13, 2008 07:00 PM (GMT)
For some reason CTV, the Canadian broadcaster, will make their own. Sometimes I prefer the Canadian one, actually (like on CSI before the strike, the American promos looked like GSR fanvids, and I'm not exaggerating  ).
Pam, I'm sure it's still Reid centric. It's just a different bit of clips being showcased. No worries.
ac5000 - April 13, 2008 08:10 PM (GMT)
this means that i get to watch it an hour earlier! yes!
looks like a good one on both previews. its about time we had another Reid-centric storyline. and im glad they haven't completely dropped the drug thing. I wouldn't exactly call the "I'll never miss a plane again" line a resolution to it.
I love this show! - April 13, 2008 08:21 PM (GMT)
Oh, it would be SO nice if they would finally give us an answer on that wouldn't it? (Do you think they listen to us little fans? Maybe got the idea we're not too happy with all these unfinished storylines?) But then, my horrible little minds starts thinking - I hope they don't come up with something dumb to finish it - just for the saking of ending it. But come on! It's been over a year now since they started it! It's time for it to be resolved.
Thoughts of a Reid episode........Ahhhhhhh :D Okay, I'm happy now!
CM Addict - April 17, 2008 01:39 AM (GMT)
Alright, it's still sinking in, but here are my first thoughts:
I really enjoyed this episode. I thought the Reid drama was well done. That first scene at the support group, I just loved that. It was nice to see him bring up past events that hadn't been dealt with (the kid dying right in front of him). I liked seeing him spiral out of control in terms of the case. I liked seeing him get angry (well, at least as angry as Reid can get) at Hotch. I liked seeing Hotch actually address Reid's issues. So that part, very well done.
I thought that Jordan and Owen and their relationship was very intriguing; it held my interest, which some guest characters don't always do. It was one of those cases where it could have actually been a sweet love story, if he weren't mentally ill. I loved the twist at the end with him going to the station to give the necklace to Jordan. It actually made me a little nervous for a second. But it led to a great negotiating scene, a chance for Reid to shine, since most often someone else takes the lead.
My only criticism would be we went a ridiculously long period of time without seeing Morgan, but that's only a criticism because he's so nice to look at. :P
At the moment that's all I can really think of. Great ep. My second favourite post-strike ep (second to Damaged, of course).
ac5000 - April 17, 2008 05:10 AM (GMT)
i thought this was an excellent storyline and very well written. They didn't over do the Reid drama line and the way they molded it into the Unsub storyline was very smooth. I thought Owen and Jordan were quite adorable, minus all the killing and scary stuff :P . Reid walking up to him in the end was making my heart go crazy! another one of those episodes that creep you out more with the suspense than the gore and blood.
Not a lot of Garcia in the past few episodes. Im really missing her and Morgan's banter. Oh! and some brotherly love between Reid and Morgan there. I thought that was quite sweet. and no, i just can't see Morgan as a 5'3 guy being picked on. :D
They finally had JJ out of black! that was for you, Rach :P . My only issue with her wardrobe this time was that they put her in something that made her baby bump look even bigger! . After watching this episode and what they did with Reid, im starting to have a little faith in the writers and the pregnancy storyline. Hopefully they do the same thing with it.
Oh! and did anyone catch the symbolism at the end? you know...Owen walking to Jordan, the woman he loves...and REID walking towards JJ...the woman he wants to love? ...fine. im being shipperish again. but that was like a WOW moment for me. :D
Looks like we'll have to wait until after 3rd Life to catch a preview. Unless Jenzter can give us a little something... ;)
All in all, a pretty good episode. id say it was tied with Damaged. Maybe even better!
linny - April 17, 2008 06:55 PM (GMT)
I didn't like this episode that much. I don't really know why but it didn't
Luna - April 18, 2008 01:25 PM (GMT)
Loved the episode, it had a great storyline, awsome Reid-centric story, yet not only about him, the story had a good casestory too.
Owen was so sweet with Jordan, loved those two together, so it saddens me that he is 'the bad-guy', school shooters (even though he didn't actually shoot in school) always make me sad, because even though I never had the feeling to hurt anyone who ever picked on me as a kid (was bullied till I became twelve) I do understand their pain..
The thing Reid told about those bullies at his high-school, absolutely mean kids! I hate masses since people always seem to lose their sence and emphaty in a mass, resulting to pain for a individual.
Morgan 5'3 and picked on..don't see it.
The meeting in the beginning was really nice, also the man who Reid knew from the office.
Liked the brotherly love between Reid and Morgan and well liked Hotch's comment at the end.
Aichan - May 6, 2008 07:27 PM (GMT)
Hotch is too cold, I miss Gideon that was like a Dad for that poor boy ;____;
Nardias - September 12, 2008 10:40 AM (GMT)
Haha this episode was wicked. After a long wait for a Reid episode, i must say it was worth it. And the story line, i felt so sorry for that girl Jordan in the end, she pratically lost everything by the end of it. And Reid and Hotch fighting was funny, especially whe Reid answers back "what, you going to punish me now" haha great episode.
