I am so disappointed too. I feel really sad about the show right now. I didn't want a pregnancy (how predictable!) and I don't like the Garcia/Kevin relationship either. Where are they fitting in the cases with all this romance that's supposed to happen?! :lol: Please don't let the romance be JJ/Morgan, that would make ac too happy!

lol. but i think writing in a pregnancy is a whole lot better than losing AJ and her character. they might tie in her pregnancy with a case or something (which would be weird, but do-able). i just REALLY hope they dont write her off, just because she got preggers. maybe they should have her leave for a while?

the JJ/Morgan scenario was the SECOND thing i thought of after i read Jentzer's post. maybe they hooked up after a particularly tough case and needed to get some frustration out! :lol:

Exactly my concern. I mean, I'm happy for AJ and Nathan (I couldn't believe it when I heard. I rushed over here right after I read it) but the idea creeps me out a little. It's probably going to end up being a one night stand thing (aren't they doing that on another crime show to incorporate a pregnancy? I think it's Without a Trace with Poppy Montgomery's pregnancy, although I think she's had the baby by now) which is disappointing. I would have rather that JJ get a romantic interest (OUTSIDE the team) and then maybe do a pregnancy thing. They didn't have to write AJ's pregnancy in.

But then maybe I'm being too judgemental, I'll wait to see what happens. (And I was under the impression that we won't hear anything about it until season four. I don't think they'd wait this long to announce it, would they?)

The WAT storyline with Poppy's character is soo disappointing! I hope that doesn't happen here. Yeah, I figured it would be a one night stand thing too...or has she been hiding a secret boyfriend? Maybe by the time her pregnancy is announced, a considerable amount of time will have passed in the CM world so the timeline seems more realistic. Couldn't they just have done lots of AJ close ups when she started to expand?!

I always liked JJ and the New Orleans cop. Bring him back!!

How come most fans hear what's coming for their favorite shows and say "Oh, I can't wait to see what happens!"......and we're almost scared of it!!! :unsure: :lol: I bet the writers wouldn't be too happy to know they have this reputation with us. We don't seem to have much confidence in them do we? I think they've just made so many changes in the three seasons we've had the show (and not even a complete third season) We have no idea what to expect! (and apparently not all the changes have been favorable for so many of us to be this worried about it.

I hope they don't make this a JJ one night stand thing. That would be disappointing for her character to me. We don't know much about her except she stayed out of trouble and worked hard to get herself out of her small town and make something of herself.....I just don't want to see her as a struggling single mother now. I hope somehow they work it so she's got a real relationship in there somehow, maybe gets married - Since Hotch's marriage is over maybe they could have someone who has a normal family.

And another thought. I hope they don't have her eight months pregnant with an FBI bullet proof vest running around with a gun! :lol: Do you think she'll be confined to the office all the time now and not out in the field much?

I doubt pregnant agents are allowed in the field! I guess she'll end up hanging out more with Garcia at the office ;) CM is not exactly family friendly but it would be nice to see JJ happy with someone I suppose ;) So does this mean no JJ/Em storyline?! Damn :lol:

I agree with everything you said about the writers, I dread to think what they'll come up with next! But hey, maybe we are being too judgemental and they'll give us a brilliant season four ;)

i dont think we're being THAT judgemental (k. im lying.). i just think that the writers have screwed around a bit much with the story lines so we're a little jostled. its like having a relationship.

i hope its not a one night stand thing although thats a possibility. im hoping for some Lamontagne action to come in. as for JJ hanging out with Garcia more, i really don't mind. i LOVE these two together!

It's going to be interesting to see how the write this into the show.

If I were to venture a guess I would say that obviously towards the end of the pregnancy she won't be out in the field, but in the first few months I honestly don't see why they wouldn't let her. Maybe there's some kind of marker they have; if you're not this far along you can go out in the field, if you're past it you can't. Maybe by the time JJ finds out she's pregnant she'll be passed it. But I really have no idea since I don't know how the FBI works. :rolleyes:

I'd love to see some more JJ and Garcia interaction though! They're so much fun to watch together. That's one thing I miss from early CM.

or they might just stall her telling the team because its such a big thing. that way, when she does tell them, it will only be because she has no choice (because, you know, she'll be bigger..) which means she'll be out in the field until the rest of the team knows.

I am extatic for the way the writers will write this in. I have total faith in them. And all the ideas of who's the daddy are just ideas (Reids, Morgans, Hotchs, Prentiss') because they never have backrounds told to us for the team they could say she had a behind the scenes boyfriend and pull it off. Then the dad could take care of the baby behind the scenes and show the baby a little like they did with Hotchs baby. Once again...total faith in Ed Bernero & writers. Also the idea of Auntie Garcia i love sooo much. And JJ is a liason so she could still go in the field just no going to the dump sight or dead bodies. And when shes 8 or 9 months preggers she can stay with Garcia!! This just makes the show more real for me because FBI agents do get preggers and it can show how everyone is around babies along with sensitivity. And to end with...TOTAL faith in writers so RELAX people!! B) :D :lol:

I wish I had as much confidence as you do.....but I don't. The writers have messed with Reid a little too much and left way to many unfinished storylines so I'm still worried about what they'll do. But I guess we'll just have to wait and see. Hopefully I will be pleasantly surprised!!! ;)

I would actually prefer that they DIDN'T do it the same way they did it with Hotch's baby. I'd like to see JJ struggle trying to balance being a mom and an FBI agent. I'd like to see her go, "Wait a minute, I'm not sure if I wanna leave my baby for that long." (Which yes, would lead to more JJ and Garcia scenes) Or I'd like to see her outside of the office with the baby. It's different than it was with Hotch because Hotch was the father, not the mother, so I'd like to see this done differently.

they had some undertones of showing us the pregnancy. When Rossi was saying something like "all i could hear was the children calling for their parents" the camera hung on JJ for quite a while. So that could be another thing, having her worry about her not being around.

and a lot of her touching the 'men' subject. perhaps it will be a one night stand.

but i agree with Rach. I prefer Agent JJ over mommy JJ.

I was actually really sick of seeing JJ in that scene! We got the hint, they didn't need to focus on her that much!

i can't tell if this was done on purpose or not, but she looked exhausted in this episode. im gonna guess around 3-4 months for AJ. Her bump's not that big yet, but its definetly there.

Whoaaa! Thanks for the photo! She looks sooooo cute!! (and so very much pregnant! :D ) Although a bit tired, but she carries a second person, it can't be that easy!

The baby is due Sept 15th but babies have minds of their own so it could be any day now. During out recent chats with the Criminal Minds writers and Executive Producer they all said that AJ is feeling great and really excited that the baby is coming soon. She's going to make a great mom!

AJ and Nathan will make amazing parents im sure. and hey Sept 15th! thats my birthday! :D
