The second episode of the second half of the third season!!
<_< wtf?
anyways.....have heard this is a "JJ" centered episode......
do I recall she is from Pittsburgh..... (or should I lay off the pipe...)
either or yippee :)
have I mentioned lately I miss Elle :(
whoops...back on track.....guest role for Reneé O'Connor, best known for her work as Gabrielle on Xena: Warrior Princess :D

jentzer faints.....she has striking green eyes if I remember...lol
CM Addict - March 14, 2008 02:13 PM (GMT)
Really?! When I first saw that it was in Pittsburgh I had thought it might be JJ centered, but I wasn't sure TPTB would be that nice. I'm glad they're gonna be. :D And me thinks this might be something related to that storyline JJ was supposed to get. Now the question is will it be related to JJ shooting Garcia's shooter (why can I never remember his name?). Hmm....
So Jennifer Aspen's in this, huh? I was never a Daphne fan. Oh well. We'll have to wait and see.
Spoilers make me happy. :D
Rach112 - March 14, 2008 02:58 PM (GMT)
Yay for more eppy info!
I am glad we are going to get another JJ centred episode :D
Special Agent Jentzer - March 14, 2008 03:38 PM (GMT)
and of course all this speculation is just that....I'm not sure who said it, or where it came from...oddly enough, no sides were ever posted for this episode....hmmm those tricky  *$^%&^
after some research, yes JJ backstory contains......

YEAH! A JJ CENTERED STORY!!!!!!!!!!!
CM Addict - March 17, 2008 08:49 PM (GMT)
^Haha, love the enthusiasm, Steph. ;)
Jentzer, Daphne was the character that Jennifer Aspen played on Party of Five. And I don't know how it would be related exactly, I was just thinking that in some episodes afterwards (i.e., Birthright) we saw that something was up with JJ, and she's never had a lot of screen time/story stuff, so I doubt they would give her two big things....
And what's this about James Colby Baylor? Who is he??
You know, I've been thinking. When we learn stuff about the characters it's usually because the case reminds them of something in their pasts. So does that mean that JJ knows someone who committed suicide? Or just someone that was murdered? If there wasn't something in common between her and the case then I really don't see the point of setting it in her hometown....
APRIL!!!

Thanks for posting that Jentzer. It looks awesome.
But wait, I thought this was a JJ centered story. She's not even in the preview.
Rach112 - April 8, 2008 10:12 PM (GMT)
I think we just assumed it was a JJ story because of where it's set!
Guess we'll find out soon enough ;)
I love waking up on a Thursday morning and finding the episodes, it's a great way to start the day!
I hope JJ doesn't look as dreary and exhausted here...
CM Addict - April 8, 2008 10:26 PM (GMT)
Damn, it better be! Not only do I love JJ centeredness, but I got into an argument with people about whether or not it would be! I can't lose!!!

I'd hear that on another board, but only as a rumour. The one after this is in Texas, so why would they make that the JJ centric one? Jentzer, help!!!!
I love this show! - April 10, 2008 02:17 AM (GMT)
I just finished watching the episode. I really liked that one! I thought it was interesting, not too much blood and guts, very creepy unsub.
Did anyone else feel the tension between Rossi and Morgan? I almost felt like half the reason Rossi wanted to take the case was just to prove Morgan wrong because he didn't think they should go at first. What do we suppose the reason behind that was?
I didn't really understand Morgan's statement at the end with his four properties. "If he's not kicking down doors, he's smashing down walls." How did that make him feel like he's changing something for the better? Does that mean he's building houses for people???
How old is Jack supposed to be now? I was sort of looking forward to seeing a scene with him and Hotch - kind of disappointed that didn't happen. Also a little disappointed they didn't show if the lady ever wanted to hold her son or not.
To be critical (since I seem to pick out at least one inconsistancy in every episode) after a car accident I don't think Morgan would have been allowed to pull that guy out of the car until a medical person had verified it was safe to move him. Would it be true that someone could buy a drug like that over the internet??? That's a little scary!
I found myself being amused by watching AJ again. Wearing black to hide a little bulge? You can't tell if you're looking straight at her and her hands and placement were obviously to hide her stomach but there were a few shots where she was sideways and you could see she definitely doesn't have the flat tummy she used to have!
As usual, just random thoughts here as they come to mind. A very good episode though...I really liked this one.
OH!! And the previews for next week look really good!!! Looks like a Reid episode!

I really enjoyed that episode, too! I was happy to see the old start-with-the-jet-and-quote-and-end-the-same-way format. :-)

Did anyone else feel the tension between Rossi and Morgan?
I didn't really see it as tension, just a difference of opinion. I think Rossi, like JJ and Reid, found the suicide increase suspicious. As a product of the foster care system, Morgan saw the dark side of life at an early age, and as a result he probably encountered more than his fair share of suicides; maybe that's why he was harder to convince.
QUOTE
How did that make him feel like he's changing something for the better? Does that mean he's building houses for people???
My guess is that he's buying up dilapidated houses, fixing them up, and then either selling or renting them. Some people do that because it can be quite profitable, but maybe he's doing it to help out needy families. :) I'm in the middle of a home renovation right now, and I chuckled when he said that because I heartily agree -- nothing helps a person's stress level like knocking down walls...or tearing up carpet...or ripping off trim... :D

Me too! I was hoping for something sweet and positive for Hotch, and it didn't happen. Rossi's last comment was nice and all, but I would rather have seen Jack with Hotch than hear about it.

Oh, no kidding! Can you say "lawsuit"??? If the guy had suffered internal injuries and ended up with a permanent disability, Morgan would be in serious trouble.
QUOTE

Isn't it? I'm not sure which disturbs me most -- that people post that kind of info online, or that other people go looking for it.
All in all, I was really happy with this ep. Last week I wondered if Rossi would start blending better with the team, and this week that appears to be the case. I could be wrong, of course, but he seemed less snarky. Additionally, we learned an interesting tidbit about Morgan. Am I the only one who'd pay to see that man shirtless, covered with sweat and sawdust, and swinging away with a hammer? Ooooh, naughty Bren! ;)

Yep! And that reminds me...did anyone else get the impression that Reid has first hand knowledge about support groups? I wonder if it's related to his mom's illness, his dad's abandonment, or the drug thing?
