Title: Episode of the week - Week #10
Description: The popular kids

I totally forgot the EOW yesterday! So what were the thoughts on this episode? I always thought Cory was kind of strange.....and he didn't seem like the type of kid who would be in with the popular crowd. Do you think Morgan was right in telling Hotch and Gideon about Reid's nightmares? I still like the line at the end where Reid asks "what happened" and Morgan starts explaining how he figured out it was Cory and Reid says "No I got that! Did you have to tackle us both?" Morgan is good at tackling isn't he?

Anyone else have any thoughts?

Yeah, y'know, I've got another way Morgan could use those tackling skills if he wants to. ;)

Anyhoo, about the episode: It was alright. It didn't really stand out as one of my favourites, but it definitely was not the worst thing they've ever done. Corey was one of those unsubs, I was hesitant to go, "It's him!", but I knew there was something off about him. There's always something off with the "too helpful" characters.

It was sad though, when he admitted that Cherish was just collateral damage. And did I miss why he wanted to kill Adam? Was he jealous or something?

I'm not sure about whether Morgan was right to tell Hotch and Gideon about Reid's nightmares. On the one hand, if he'd waited, someone may have gotten hurt. But on the other hand, he betrayed Reid's trust and it's important to have that on a team, especially considering the kind of work these guys do. But then again, if Reid could understand that Morgan was doing what he thought was in Reid's best interests, than the trust thing might not be as big of an issue.

See, I don't really know where I stand here.

I guess if it was me, I might drop subtle hints to Hotch and Gideon, but not come full out and say something unless something else happened, like if I saw Reid being distracted during a case. That way I wouldn't feel like a narc. I guess it's kinda like when my old boss asked me to, and I quote, "Spy on the assistant manager." I was uncomfortable with it at the time (and still sort of am) because I didn't want to rat her out, but I wanted to do what my boss asked me to, y'know? In the end it came down to doing what was right for the store, not for the one person. I recognize that now, but if I recall correctly, when my boss called me (and woke me up, I might add), to ask how my spying went, I said it went "fine." The thing is, I think she could tell I was lying, but at that point it didn't matter. The AM still got fired, but it was by the DM (District Manager, the one above the Manager) at a later date, and I don't think she knew about the spying thing. So what I'm trying to get at with this long ramble is that maybe the Reid thing would have gotten to the point where Hotch and Gideon would notice, without Morgan saying anything. They're profilers too. They could have done something to help Reid, and the trust between Morgan and Reid wouldn't have been shattered.

Although, on the show, how did Reid feel about it? He understood where Morgan was coming from, right?

Morgan also excels at jumping through windows, knocking down doors and jumping into moving vehicles.

I thought it was Cory from the beginning, but like you guys have said, i was a little hesitant. He just seems like one of those kids you don't want to be the Unsub, yet at the same time, you have a feeling that he is. He's just one of those people who looks like they would fit in, but their personality is just a little off.

I loved the part in the BAU kitchen where Morgan's telling Reid to have some "coffee with your sugar". It was pretty cute where Morgan's trying to guess why Reid looked like he hadn't gotten sleep and he threw out the "watching Star Trek and laughing at all the physics mistakes" which sets Reid off about how Star Trek didn't actually have too many. It just showed the whole brother relationship between the two.

I think Morgan was just looking out for Reid's best when he told Gideon. He knew that Reid needed help or someone would get hurt so i think Morgan did the right thing.

In the end Morgan explained his own nightmares and why he thought it would be good to tell Hotch and Gideon about them. Why didn't he just explain all that to Reid before and try and convince him why he should go and tell them instead of telling them himself. (I know it was in the script! )

I liked the "laughing at physics mistakes in Star Trek" quote too. Very funny!

It was a little strange to see Reid react so strongly to Morgan when he told him he had told Hotch and Gideon and he felt betrayed. I don't believe we had really seen Reid act like that before.

I think Cory was after Adam just because he didn't want him with Cherish.

I think Morgan told Hotch and Gideon about Ried's nightmares because he knew Ried would never do it himself and he wanted to get Ried some help. Ried wouldn't do it himself because he was afraid that they would think he couldn't do his job.

YES! I love the Morgan tackle!!!
