Aw, for a second I was ridiculously happy because I thought it was a different episode! Renaming confuses me! But I actually like this title better.

Haha, yeah, they like their Y&R stars on this show, don't they? I bet if Heather wasn't on B&B right now they would have gotten her instead of Nicholle (the only Tom who was never on Y&R, if I recall correctly).

This ep really does look interesting. And it says that the team does step in to help Rossi. Then I'm still confused about the Connecticut thing. Or did they cut that perhaps?

thanks for the pics, Jentzer! I've gotta say though, im not liking the bangs on Paget. It makes her head look kinda squarish. or it might just be that picture and im being too judgemental too fast.

As for hairstyles, Reid's is lookin pretty good and so is Shemar's, but AJ really needs to do something with it. It looked great in season...whatever, when she had the side bangs. perhaps she should go back to that? :D

Reid looks so adorable! I agree with ac, AJ needs a hairstyle change ;) She has great hair but it has looked better in previous seasons. I quite like Paget's new hairstyle but Garcia's hair flower is definitely the coolest :D

I'm a little suprised at the bangs Paget's sporting. But I don't wanna judge just yet. I definitely love Garcia's flower though! And I'm actually fine with AJ's hair, just as long as she doesn't pull it back again! :blink:

FINALLY!! Hey, I supported the writers' strike and all, but I'm soooo glad it's over and we get new episodes. One can only watch so much HGTV. ;)

I've seen the previews for this ep, so I hope TPTB don't let us down. It sounds as if it would provide the perfect opportunity for Rossi to really become a part of the team, thus allowing us to get back to team-centric episodes in the future. At this point, Rossi needs a major overhaul. He's usually so...so...standoff-ish that it drives me nuts. Geez, they might as well dye his hair red, give him some sunglasses, and call him Horatio!

I'm keeping my fingers crossed. :)

I had to watch it a few times to figure out who that was with JJ, but yeah, that looked awesome. ;)

I hate when they manipulate the clips in previews, have a character say something and then show the person they're NOT saying it to. When Hotch says, "You're going where you belong." and then they show Reid, that refers to the inmate they go to interview, right? Is it related to Rossi's case? I forget.

I'm excited tonight's the night! (but still a little apprehensive too) Hopefully I won't be disappointed....I'm SO ready to get excited about Criminal Minds again!

We get to see Paget's new hairdo (and apparently MGG still didn't get a hair cut! :rolleyes: )

How soon do you think they'll let it out about JJ being pregnant? If AJ has been aware of it for a few months they could have already started writing it into scripts. (and maybe that's a reason too why it went public)

It looks like I'm the first person to see this ep (gotta love CTV in the Eastern time zone ;)). So beware for spoilers if you haven't seen it yet:

Ed Bernero needs to write every episode in one week. Seriously, it was that good. All the Garcia scenes were GOLD, especially the one in her apartment. I totally wasn't expecting Kevin to come walking out! This episode made me love Garcia/Kevin (Gevin? We need to come up with a cool ship name for them) a thousand times more than I already do. They're just not your average couple. I loved seeing him try to be all macho and her threatening him, not with withholding sex like most women would, but with a computer virus!!! Too awesome.

I also loved the exchange between Garcia and Rossi in the apartment scene: "What kind of researcher are you?" "I'm not a researcher, I'm a technical analyst." "What does that even mean?!" And I love how behind the times Rossi is. "What's a PDA?" :lol:

I've decided I'm totally digging Paget's new hair. I like the bangs, it's a nice look on her. And I thought how super sweet Prentiss is was showcased well in this ep. "Why do you care?" "Because you do."

They did a pretty good job covering JJ up, but in the carnival sequence you can definitely see the baby bump. I don't know if that means they're going to introduce the pregnancy soon or have the storyline continue after AJ's had her kid and make her wear one of those pads. If I had to guess I'd say it'll probably be the latter. Maybe someone who knows more about pregnancy progression can enlighten us on just how far along she looks in that sequence, I'm not really sure.

The Reid/Hotch/Killer thing was interesting, but at times it felt a little detached from the rest of the episode. However, I did enjoy Reid's speed facts speech. He gets that confused look out of everyone. :lol:

In terms of the case, I did enjoy it, and I can forgive them for speeding up towards the end because I think it was necessary to spend all that time on the build up. And I thought it was a great twist, making the audience hate this killer and think that he's a sick bastard, only to find out that it was a mentally disabled person who did not set out to kill anyone. That part for me was sad.

Oh, and the ending scene was gold too. How awesome was Reid not knowing about the song?! Everybody knows about that song. :rolleyes: :lol: We love our little socially challenged Reid, don't we? ;)

I liked that they mentioned Hotch's divorce again, and when he signed that papers at the end, that was so sad!! And his confession to Reid in the car, also sad! Basically, the whole storyline is sad. ;) But I am intrigued to see where they take Hotch next in terms of a personal life. The possibilities are kind of exciting.

Notice the scene where Rossi tells JJ, Morgan, and Prentiss the whole story. Morgan goes very well with the decor, doesn't he? ;) Just something I noticed.

In terms of the kids, I was expecting to see more of them, but I was satisfied with what we got (and my God, does Nicholle Tom ever look like her sister. And David looks so different than the last time I saw him on a soap. He needs to cut his hair :lol: ).

Alright, this is far too long, so I'm shutting up now. If you didn't get the gist here, I loved this episode! Probably my favourite this season, and definitely well worth the wait.

OMG, I loved this episode SO much! It was funny, intense.. just :wub: This is so my new alltime favorite episode!!

ooooo, I totally forgot. The JJ/Garcia scene. I laughed so hard at it.
JJ: I really have a lot of work to do Garcia.
Garcia: So you don't want to hear how Agent Rossi showed up at my door in the middle of the night while I was enjoying a post-quadral shower with fellow FBI technical analyst Kevin Lynch?
JJ: Sit.

My thoughts......I liked it but not quite as much. :lol: It was good as far as the build up and suspense but the solutions to both parts of the storylines seemed a little unrealistic to me.

The scenes with Hotch and Reid were totally detached from the rest of the story. It was still good too but I almost wish that had been a separate episode. The unsub just wanting his "breath of fresh air" was creepy and I liked the whole thing up until then but if his real intent was to kill them to save his life I don't think he really would have been that distracted by Reid's babling for 13 minutes. And I think it was a little unrealistic that there wouldn't have been a guard around anyway. But Reid's speech was interesting... I know Hotch is supposed to be upset about the divorce but his attitude and behavior for the whole episode seemed totally out of character for him.

The episode did not help me like Rossi at all! The guy is a jerk! Even when you are supposed to see that he's a nice guy inside and means well his actions are totally rude and inappropriate.

As for the killer of the case with the kids. It was good but one of those ones that seems like it was solved a little too conveniently. The guy was just a big kid - wanders off and wants to play with the little girl? Would someone that simple minded break into the house to play? (that seemed weird) The father hits him with the axe and he "accidentally" kills both parents with it? (I could maybe accept one but both doesn't seem like an accident because he was just big and strong and didn't realize his strength.) And how do they explain the cleanup? If he wandered off how did the father know where to find him and clean up after his son? And it makes no sense at all why he would bring him back year after year to remind him. If he couldn't understand what he did in the first place then he wouldn't understand being reminded every year.

Am I being too critical? :lol: I actually did like the episode, I think it was just one that you couldn't think too much about or there seemed to be some holes in the story. Other than that it was great.

Reid wouldn't know the "sitting in the tree" song??? :blink:
