Title: Episode of the week - Week #7
Description: The Fox

Okay I didn't participate too much in last weeks episode - I'll try to do better this time! :P

The fox.....Pretty good episode. The beginning was pretty creepy when the lady gets out of bed in the morning (with her husband next to her) and then sees her husband tied up to a chair! Who's in the bed with her????? Creeepyyy!!!

By this time you start to figure out that the first person who is obvious to suspect as the unsub (i.e. the brother) won't be the bad guy so I knew it wasn't him.

What was up with the pictures the kids were drawing? Of course they were only black and white - the unsub only gave them black paint! <_<

The ending was very sad with them all sitting around the table and Hotch dumps all those wedding rings out.....so sad!

What did everyone elese think?

Out of the first seven episodes of the series, this one is my favourite.

I absolutely loved it. The tension was just right. I did notice that, like in some other eps, they sort of sped up a bit towards the end, but in this case it kept me on the edge of my seat. As soon as they found out it was the therapist, I was kicking myself for not figuring that out myself. The hint was perfectly dropped, when Garcia mentioned it to Reid, but I didn't get it! Great job on the suspense part.

This ep also had the best. ending. ever. When they were all sitting around the table I thought there must be more than two rings in the box, but I wasn't expecting EIGHT!!! That left me speechless.

Only thing though, they never continued with this storyline, did they? Like, bring Arnold back in a later ep, like they did with Frank from No Way Out, and find out where the rest of the bodies were? I'd kind of like to see that.

I think that was also supposed to represent how scared they were. Like Gideon was saying, all the other pictures had colour, like a normal kid would have painted. But if all they had was black paint, it shows that the happy-go-lucky child is gone, and the unsub has virtually stolen their childhood from them. But that's just how I looked at it.

Oh..I forgot to mention the psycho unsub and his "you have to make it right!" comments about the pictures they switched. But it was a tricky way to fool him into confessing he knew something about the crimes.

This ep confused me, and I felt so stupid! :D I sat there and was like 'Wha? The theripist? What's up with those pictures? What!?' Very silly! <_< But, after I watched it a few times, I started to get it! Thick moment or what! :D

I didn't really love this ep, propably because I didn't get it to start with. But the interregation scene, and the ending were so good! And I felt so sorry for the brother! But that theropist guy gave me the creeps! *shudders* Strange man!

Oh, definetly best ending ever! It was such a great moment, because you sit there, fully expecting 2 rings to fall out, or most, about 3, 4. But then 8 fall out, and you're so shocked! So good.

Although, taht would make an awesome eppy, bringing him back for, almost like, a wild goose chase eppy. That was the only reason I liked 'No Way Out', the fact taht the UnSub got to get away, even for a moment.

I didn't get the fact that they were drawn really well - even if you tell a kid how to draw, it wouldn't look so professional! (Sorry, picking holes, I'll stop soon, really!) That's why I couldn't get why that was so important, I figured the UnSub had drawn it, not coached the little girl.

CM Addict - February 20, 2008 08:47 PM (GMT)
But didn't they say that Emily Crawford had an above average intelligence? Maybe that was why she drew so well?
