For some reason I ship these two like crazy which is strange for me because I usually don't have ships on these types of shows. I mean I wouldn't want relationship drama messing with amazing stories each week but for some reason I would really like to see these two kids get together. He's not with Haley anymore so it is possible. Does anyone else like Hotch and Prentiss because it seems that there are very few of us.

I think there's potential, but like you said, I wouldn't actually want ANY of the ships to happen because it would mess with what's already there in terms of character relationships. Hotch/Prentiss is fun to think about though.

....So does nobody want Hotch and Haley to get back together? Not even for Jack's sake? I don't know where I stand on it myself, just wondering.

Hmmmm that's tricky because Jack is adorable but I really don't like Haley so I don't want her and Hotch to get back together. She doesn't get the job and Prentiss does get the job because she is the job.

Personally, i think that Hotch and Prentiss are kinda too professional to "hook up". The reason why i can see characters like Morgan, Garcia, Reid and JJ getting together is because they just seem more laid back. Even in the clothing they wear. Hotch and Prentiss are a fun thought though.

as for Haley, i think she's out of the picture. Chances are, she'll get full custody of Jack with Hotch having visitation rights or something like that. poor guy though eh?

I think Hotch and Prentiss have potential! I think they would make a pretty good couple but I agree with ac, they are too professional for that, or at least Hotch is. Somewhere inside Em is a wild woman who likes to have fun ;) I have enjoyed watching them become closer, they have had some great scenes together this season.

I don't want Hotch and Haley to get back together. I agree, I think she's outta the picture. I do feel a bit sorry for Hotch but he had to know where their relationship was headed :(

I would vote for Hotch and Haley to get back together! Not because I like Haley so much but more just because I think it would be nice for their family to stay together. And I want something good and positive to happen for one of them for a change!!! Everything is always so horrilbe! Can't something good happen once in awhile?

I would LOVE to see Hotch lose control for once and just throw caution to the wind. Sometimes I think he pushes so much down he's going to just explode one of these days. I'm just a a hopeless romantic and I love Hotch/Prentiss.

It could be good, don't really see it myself (mainly because if Hotch is around, I'm generally blind :P) But, maybe when Season 3 swings around (22 days peopel!)...Well, I shall see! Jemma, I keep forgetting you haven't seen season 3! I never even thought about Hotch/Prentiss till this season so it'll be interesting to see what you make of it! I think the 2nd eppy of the season is when I started to think they had potential...

I loved Prentiss as soon as she came on which is also strange for me because I usually don't like new characters right away but I love Paget Brewster. Then I started sort of shipping them at the end of last season and then this season I was like yep I'm a Hotch/Prentiss shipper. :P

when prentiss was first ON CM ..i didnt like her..now like ive said she's my fav character..her and hotch together..its weird but doesnt mean it want happen

Like I said before I usually hate when they have relationships happen on shows like this. It completely messes up all of the great stories (see CSI: Grissom and Sara.) For some reason though I wouldn't mind it at all as long as it didn't mess up the creepy amazing stories. I wouldn't mind if they showed us a little something here and there. ;)

I agree, it'd be nice to see Hotch just say screw it, just once. I know it's his character, being the humorless team leader and all that, but still, it's a nice idea. And I think it would be reasonable for someone like Emily to lead to him loosening up.

Can you imagine some broadway number where they're all singing and dancing among their desks in the bullpen area and then make their way up the stairs to the round table for the big finale? Oh man!! However, I'm not so sure about the profiling each other thing. Doesn't the team have a moratorium on NOT profiling each other? And you know how Morgan flipped when he found out they were profiling him. On the other hand, if Hotch and Prentiss were to get together, maybe if they trusted each other enough to let them profile each other, that would be kinda sweet....Somebody should write a Hotch/Prentiss fanfic like that. Actually, since we're on the topic of fanfics, what are the Hotch/Prentiss ones like? I've seen a couple and it's weird for me 'cause the author jumps RIGHT into a relationship between the two, and considering who they are on the show, it's hard for me to picture. There would have to be some serious character development before I could see a relationship happening, y'know?

How can profilers NOT profiler each other? It's what they do. I bet they just do it naturally :lol: I can't believe that when the team met, they didn't instantly start profiling each other...they're just not open about it!

On the subject of H/P fanfics, I have yet to read a really awesome one! If someone can tell me about a great one, please do! But most of them don't seem very realistic to me and I like my fics to be at least a little realistic ;) They do have potential but it needs to written properly and true to the characters.

I think Hotch and Prentiss would have adorable, nerdy kids :lol:

I write tons of Hotch/Prentiss fanfics. If you go over to fanfiction.net my user name is Bluebaby555. In some of the fics I do have them in an established relationship but others I do write the relationship out from the start. I have a lot of long stories going on and a lot of little one shots. I kind of want to take a crack at a fic with them profiling each other now.

Yep wrote the fic and posted it on fanfiction.net. It's appropriately called "Profiling." Oh and I gave credit where credits due because it wasn't my idea but I didn't use any names because I didn't know if they wanted me to.

I'll check it out when I have more time and will leave you a review :D Then I'll go check out the rest of your stuff!

Awwww but I love them so. I just think they are a lot alike in many ways and Hotch is a free man now! I want to see him let loose. Even if it's not in a new relationship I just want to see Hotch out of control in a situation.

They would be so cute together :P But i Think that relationships kinda messes up these kinda shows, but I would settle for much more discreet flirting. Eh, let everone flirt with everyone :D They can all sit and flirt with eachother at the BAU
