Title: Any Thoughts On This?
J.J. - April 29, 2006 10:27 PM (GMT)
In the fic I'm working on now (I'm currently editing it) I'm incorporating one of Shakespeare’s plays and I can't for the life of me think of how the lines should be run...
I can essay write no problem (but I don't want the "textbook" feel... I think it would take away from the piece).
As it stands I've woven it into my story (one would be able to tell, I've made it obvious to the reader that it isn't mine) and I was thinking of just adding an endnote as to my source (I couldn’t find my actual book so I grabbed it from an online source oh well).
Thanks in advance for the input

Incorporating plays and musicals are difficult. They are quite visual things and cannot necessarily be written into fics (see my story Haunted House for a {non-CM} example of how difficult it is).
I wish I could help, but I struggled for myself!

Thanks, I'll take a look...

The ideas were in my head, but they were difficult to properly get out on paper!

I would NEVER do that to the cast of CM (I hear that if on a program i.e.: Buffy etc., they break into song, it's over! or something like that)....
It’s a Shakespeare tragedy that I changed from Othello (because of the connotation of some of the language)... It's used to foreshadow upcoming events... You know, the usual... Have another death and flush out the un-sub.

That 70s Show had a musical episode once and they lasted for a few years after...But that's beside the point.
~)~
Sounds interesting, at any rate.
Hopefully, FF.net will fix its prob soon, so I can log in and have a life!

Yeah, the whole FFnet thing really sucks! Oh well, such is life!... Don't worry, be happy! (how over used is that line?....) they will get it fixed sooner (hopefully) rather than later...
