I was watching a video on youtube about Criminal Minds and a part of the song sang something just as Morgan looked at JJ and she looked back but in a weird way. I don't know where this clip was from but for that moment when it plays and I see it I think what are the chances they'd have a spark... I know people are gonna shoot me down as they read it but it pops into my head everytime i watch that bit.
You can go on youtube and see it yourself... it's titled CRIMINAL MINDS-BROKEN. It's pretty new. This obviously doesn't change my mind... i'm still rooting for JJ and Reid!!

I don't think I've ever even thought about Morgan and JJ. :blink: I've never caught anything between them. (not even to speculate about) When has JJ ever even really talked to Morgan?

I know, besides Revelations when they weren't getting along, we don't see much interaction with them. That's why for me, I think the only reason the ship occurred to me is because JJ and Morgan are my favourite characters from their respective genders. This whole thing started in my head, I didn't get it from a particular scene on the show. But I would really love for TPTB to give us some JJ/Morgan interaction; they're like the only characters that don't!

i think for me it was the lack of interaction that sparked a curiosity...and then i became shallow and just thought that they looked really good together :D

The only scenes I can think of with JJ & Morgan interacting, it seems JJ is telling Morgan she can take care of herself and since "taking care of people" is really what Morgan is good at....it doesn't really seem to me like they would get along all that well.

I still maintain they would kill each other but I agree with ac ,it's the lack of interaction that makes me like them. And yes, they would make a beautiful couple!

There are a couple of Broken vids for CM on Youtube,i only watched them the other night actually.

I could be into the idea of JJ/Morgan if i didnt love M/G so much though. But i have to agree with Rach I think they would kill each other. Morgan would try to smother her with affection!

But i do wish they would show a lot more interaction between them though. I read a really sweet fanfic a while ago on FF.net,and even though it was more friendship than shippy i got a good impression about them.

The other scene I can think of....which she doesn't really say that but in Revelations JJ kept telling everyone she was okay while they were looking for Reid. I guess what she was really talking to Morgan about though was asking him if he thought they should have stuck together.


.....hmmm.....okay maybe she never really said that. I guess it's just in my mind because that has been JJ's attitude lately. Proving to herself and everyone how strong she is.

No, it's possible she said it, I just don't remeber the early season three eps very well for some reason. I guess it's before I became officially obsessed with CM. ;)

Well you got me curious.....I had to go find that episode and watch the scene. :lol: Right before they go into the bar Morgan tells JJ to stay behind him and not to turn her back on the door and JJ says: "I can handle myself"

or that look JJ gave Morgan after the Reid/JJ hug :D

I can see how people get the impression that JJ can take care of herself though. I really dont think we see enough of JJ and the way she copes with stuff. Just once i would like to see her have a huge break down about something,and end up actually having to have a proper conversation about work. If she has already (apart from the episodes when Reid was kidnapped) then i missed it! lol

I can't think of a scene where JJ has ever talked about work and had a conversation with anyone about it. Wait......Hotch asked her once if she wanted to become a profiler and she told him she was happy doing her job. Hotch told Strauss that she questions if she's made the right choices on cases to give the team........that's all I can think of. The few hints we've had (especially lately) that things are getting to her, have been dropped and they haven't ended up explaining anything to us about JJ. I think she's the most mysterious character we have now. (we still don't know much about Prentiss or Rossi but they're new)

But since they have been giving us little hints about JJ maybe that means they are going to give us more info about her someday. I think JJ thinks she can handle everything - I think the writers are trying to show us that things really do get to her sometimes.

I too would love to see JJ have a breakdown and need to confront these things, and I was getting the feeling with the past couple eps that the writers were starting to do that, but now with the strike, I'm concerned that once they get back (and this goes for all shows) the storylines they had been planning will be forgotten about. I hope it doesn't happen, but we'll have to see, won't we?

With Prentiss and Rossi, we got info about them almost right away. That's what's annoying because with JJ we have to wait and wait and come up with our own theories (which is kinda fun, but also frustrating because we could be totally off). I really wish they'd delve into her character.

What was that about anyway? I know they weren't on the best of terms because he blamed Reid's kidnapping on her, on her letting them split up. So that look at the end, was it just her looking for forgiveness now that they'd saved him and Morgan not willing to offer it? I don't know, it confused me.... :unsure:

i think it was JJ taking responsibility and looking to morgan for support...and of course he gave it to her :P

In the Revelations commentary they sort of explained it like Morgan was worried about Reid and had things to figure out for himself and that's sort of why he was short with JJ - it was because he was telling her he needed to think things through too and she needed to figure her worries out for herself, because he had his own.

I think the look JJ gave Morgan when they found Reid was kind of a defiant look. He sort of deserved it!

Yeah, I saw her look as defiant, I just couldn't really figure out his. It wasn't sympathetic, it wasn't like he was angry....I don't know, the whole look was just weird. <_<

And yeah, I was angry that Morgan had been short with her. I mean, I know he was stressed too, since Reid means a lot to him, but I was kind of surprised. I'd thought it would have been a perfect opportunity for them to pull together (because if you ask me, they're the two that care about Reid the most/have the strongest relationship with him). Alas, we did not.

I was always surprised Reid didn't get a hug out of Gideon! :( I always thought they were the closest.

But after Gideon then I thought he was closest to Elle. I don't really know how close he is to Morgan. He asks him for advice but Morgan also tends to be the one to tease him and tell him to be quiet a lot too. I guess it's just a big brother type of relationship but sometimes it doesn't seem like Morgan is very nice to Reid.

Yeah, that's kinda what I meant. Close in a brotherly way. I thought that conversation they had in Fear and Loathing was really sweet and demonstrated that, how Morgan wants what's best for Reid, and I think would be protective of him.

Again, I'm still lacking some of the season one episodes, so I can't comment on the Reid and Elle closeness....I'll take your word for it. ;)

I always felt that Reid and Elle were very close in a brother-sister way. :) I always loved the scene in aftermath when Reid went to Elle's room to ask if she was okay and asked if she wanted to talk. So cute when he says "Please"

I think that's what bothers me so much about the Reid/drug thing. He always asks the others if they are okay but no one seems to ask him if he's okay! :( (well Emily did after Gideon left but no one ever flat out asked if he needed help when they thought he was using drugs! :angry:

My thoughts exactly! I really think she is the one we know the least about in work wise or life wise. I would love to see where she came from,what she thinks and other stuff.

I hope the writers are going to show us more of her in the future though. And im glad i remembered right that there hadnt really been a show 'about her' as such yet. I was beginning to wonder whether i was missing things! :lol:

Did you get to see North Mammon? That was the closest we got to learning anything about JJ but that wasn't enough! :P

Was that the one where the three girls got locked in the room and only two of them came out? I think i do remember it. Although i cant remember that much JJ in it though.

Yes....that was the one. Not very much about JJ but we were supposed to learn that this happened close to where JJ grew up and she was "just like these girls" (in her own words)

But we really didn't learn very much personally about her.

In the new episode "3rd Life" it seemed like JJ and Morgan were together a lot in the beginning. :huh:

yes she did say that and lately her attitude has been about showing the others that she's tough.

Sorry I haven't been to my own topic in awhile. I forgot about it and just saw it with tons of comments. The vid i'm talking about is the Broken one with the whole team and the moment has Morgan sitting in a chair in the conference room and JJ is wearing like a black tank top type shirt. The way they were looking at eachother may have been moved around from scenes but it was in the same episode in season 3 but i don't remember which one. If i find it i'll tell you all.
