Well it looks like we have a "date" for the final "new"episode of season three.....(until the writers strike is over at least....)
Seems sort of "silence of the lambs-ish"......one of my favorite "movie" moments was when clarice starling (jodie foster ) had been told by dr hannibal lector to search in the storage locker....she jacked up the door in the middle of that rainstorm, night time...crawled under, cut her leg, found the head...) :o  she was amazing!
Anyways, seems to be another somebody had a bad childhood, now they torture women.... :ph43r:
ac5000 - January 4, 2008 03:53 AM (GMT)
well...let's just celebrate the fact that starting next wednesday, we have two more weeks of new CM eppys!
i do hope they resolve the strike though

Rach112 - January 4, 2008 10:14 AM (GMT)
Glad to have a new eppy, sad it's probably the last one for a while :(
I remember Silence of the Lambs...eww!
I think this is gonna be a gory episode ;)
I love this show! - January 4, 2008 11:57 AM (GMT)
I think it sounds interesting....and different (profiling items to see what they can learn about their unsub) Hopefully it will be good...especially if it will be the last new one we get for awhile! :(
huuudaaa - January 4, 2008 12:50 PM (GMT)
ahhh, yay! a new episode!
though i have yet to watch the previous eps of S3!
ac5000 - January 4, 2008 07:08 PM (GMT)
Silence of the Lambs...(shudder) scary movie! It'll be quite a thrill if CM can match up to its creepiness in this eppy.
CM Addict - January 4, 2008 08:16 PM (GMT)
I fell asleep during Silence of the Lambs.
I didn't mean to! I had actually been waiting for the movie with a lot of anticipation, I was just really really tired. So I never saw the ending.
But why are they teasing us?! One new eppy, and then we have to wait ANOTHER week, and then this one is on the 23rd! Grrr...
huuudaaa - January 5, 2008 02:18 AM (GMT)
i just realised this is the last one until... whenever :(
linny - January 5, 2008 05:29 AM (GMT)
Atleast the last week of January will go out with a bang!
Yeah I really hope the strike will come to and end soon. Lets face it, if it don't no new eps of our favorite shows and they will all be left will cliff-hangar endings and we will be stuck with re-runs, reality shows and soap operas (they have stuff to last them the year out) :o
ac5000 - January 5, 2008 08:05 PM (GMT)
i JUST saw the preview and maaaaaan does it look good! We've got Reid back in Kevlar with his gun up :D . We've got girls screaming (not in a good way) everywhere and Hotch looks even more serious than before! i CAN't wait!
ILoveReed1988 - January 6, 2008 03:14 AM (GMT)

ac5000 - January 6, 2008 08:29 PM (GMT)
im sorry. i think i meant to post this in the 3rd Life thread. :D got them mixed up! but i saw it on TV. Itll be a while before they show the Limelight preview
Glampire28 - January 7, 2008 05:22 PM (GMT)
It sounds like a good one... I hope this strike does resolve itself soon. Cause as of right now there is not much on tv that I care to watch...
paolafromparis - January 10, 2008 10:50 AM (GMT)
the strike goes on, but there is a project, Ed Brennero said, to make new things (non connected with CM) using Internet. I'm very interested. Moreover, WGA is making negociations company by company and it seems to work fine. I hope they will soon negociate with CBS.
CM Addict - January 11, 2008 12:09 AM (GMT)
Paola, what new things??
Just rereading the ep description, and based on last night, I'm starting to think this is a trend. Episodes with different formulas. But WHYYYY?! The old one was fine! <_<
linny - January 11, 2008 01:01 AM (GMT)
Atleast we'll see much of the team in this one

No, I was not talking about CM. They cannot make new CM eps on internet, because CM belongs to CBS.
Ed brennero, who is the "Boss" of Cm and who is also a writer, will go on with the strike, of course, but because there are so many people who are not getting payed in his staff, he had this idea, waiting for the end of the strike, to put them all back to work .
For this, instead of passing through the television and CBS, they will do something on the internet, payed by advertizing. (like the Unothorized Documents by Andy swan, for instance.)
THEN, when the strike will be over, they will go on with CM (wich is rating pretty good, even the reruns)
linny - January 11, 2008 01:06 PM (GMT)
have anyone seen a preview for this episode?
ac5000 - January 20, 2008 11:20 PM (GMT)
i haaaave! It's really dark and mysterious. Looks like it could be a chiller one like The Fox in season 1!
ILoveReed1988 - January 20, 2008 11:30 PM (GMT)
i aint ..i wanna see the preview for the episode
***<Silvia>*** - January 21, 2008 09:10 AM (GMT)
wow!!!!
can somebody post it in youtube????:D
CM Addict - January 22, 2008 07:20 PM (GMT)
I second that request. Why is it the CM previews are so much harder to come by than other shows? It's got a good size following....
ILoveReed1988 - January 22, 2008 07:30 PM (GMT)
yea they are hard to find

I must watch the episodeeeee!!!!
ILoveReed1988 - January 22, 2008 07:55 PM (GMT)
 me too..i cant wait till tomorrow
ac5000 - January 22, 2008 11:28 PM (GMT)
Criminal Minds previews are harder to find because of the content. They can only play it after 8:00 so that the younger audiences "don't" watch it. Plus, CM isn't popular by mouth. People watch it but no one i know actually talks about it.
ILoveReed1988 - January 22, 2008 11:31 PM (GMT)
well that sucks cause CM is a awesome show

I don't know anyone else that talks about it either! On the brighter side - if I did, I probably wouldn't have come looking for a forum either! I might have missed even getting to know all of you! :o
ac5000 - January 23, 2008 02:29 AM (GMT)
lol...that would be TERRIBLE! Its odd. CM does pretty well in the ratings and in articles and stuff. And you hear all this praise about it in stuff like TV Guide, but you never catch an interview with any of the actors on talk shows and stuff.
ILoveReed1988 - January 23, 2008 02:35 AM (GMT)
that is true..why is that do ya think?
CM Addict - January 23, 2008 04:06 PM (GMT)
This is what I've never been able to understand. Do you ever notice the shows that are constantly talked about, they're not really the greatest, in terms of critical acclaim and stuff? Whereas the good stuff, it sorta fades to the background. I guess it takes a certain kind of person to appreciate the really good material. Let's take Grey's Anatomy for example. It is quite possibly the most popular show in fandomland, on those entertainment shows, etc. Of course it's a cute show, but it's more a pop culture thing, it'll never be remembered as one of the greats. Then you have CM. Not as popular in fandomland, but as ac said, it's mentioned in TV Guide and things like that. The people who endorse shows like CM are either being ignored by the fans or just aren't being loud enough.
Of course you could argue that something like GA is more entertaining than CM. Maybe that's it; people just want that more. They don't want the blood and guts, they want the show that will make them laugh, the show with all the character drama.
Still, it's a little backwards, dontcha think?
ac, can they really not show previews before eight? I mean, I get the whole kids thing, but it's a ten second preview....a lot of the time you can't even see much. Whoa.
ILoveReed1988 - January 23, 2008 04:06 PM (GMT)
Tonight is the nite YAY im soo excited..:D
CM Addict - January 23, 2008 04:10 PM (GMT)
Oh my god, you're right. I can't believe this, but I totally forgot. I mean, of course I knew CM was on tonight, I was just getting so used to reruns I forgot we'd be getting a new one.
In case you haven't noticed, I am very dumb.
ILoveReed1988 - January 23, 2008 04:15 PM (GMT)
lol..ya aint dumb yea im use to rerun im almost forgot myself
I love this show! - January 23, 2008 10:26 PM (GMT)

I've felt that way about a lot of shows. They're everywhere and it's all you hear about and I watch it and think - it was okay......but I don't understand why they think it's the best thing out there because in my opinion it isn't.
I feel a rant coming on!
They do that a lot with awards sometimes. Have you ever noticed that epiosdes that win awards....not every time but a lot of the time.....the episodes they pick aren't the best ones. And "comedy" shows win awards for episodes that were serious or tragic or something.
And that thought brought me to thinking it's like America's funniest home videos - how come the three that they choose to win aren't the funny ones??? <_<
Okay, I think my mind is wandering and my thoughts are very random right now!
Apparently I don't have the same taste in entertainment as the critics!
