Title: I'm out of my mind!

JulieFan - January 3, 2008 10:11 PM (GMT)
SCREW THIS! I got fired :(

Now my parents are furious :P

They say that they are furious that they didn't teach me everything right. And they say I probably would be hired if I went to work every time they called. And my dad keeps saying I let everybody walk me over  I still haven't talked about my missing salary. I have to do that the next time!

:( I asked if I could work somewhere else on the train station, but my boss said that was unlikely!

Shoot, if I can't even this job, how am I ever going to be a flight attendant. I'm probably going to be a lousy flight attendant

'THIS PLANE IS HIJACKED'
'OH DEAR, WHAT SHOULD I DO'

I love this show! - January 3, 2008 11:42 PM (GMT)
So what did they say was the problem? And you certainly aren't the first person to ever get fired from a job. If you did the best you could do....that's all you can do. And it doesn't mean you won't be a good stewardess someday. (you weren't spilling things on people were you?? - that might be a stewardess requirement. )

JulieFan - January 3, 2008 11:52 PM (GMT)
They said I wasn't on the right level that I should be on! THEY didn't teach me it right!

I love this show! - January 4, 2008 12:01 AM (GMT)
From what you told us it sounded like there were problems from the start (leaving two new people working)

Maybe it's better that it didn't work out. You can get another job and maybe it will be even better (and you wouldn't have been looking if you still had this job!) :D

JulieFan - January 4, 2008 12:14 AM (GMT)
Yeah, that's what my mom and dad said.

Rach112 - January 4, 2008 12:17 AM (GMT)
They totally didn't sound like good employers anyways. No one should leave two new people to deal with everything themselves for the day! I couldn't believe they did that...You'll get something else :) It's all about trying new things and getting experience.

CalleighElleDakota - January 4, 2008 09:38 AM (GMT)
Sorry, to hear that - I hope you find something new soon...That sounds maybe stupid, but I think when someone believes in his ability to reach his/her goals this person will reach them someday... :)

CriminalMind - January 4, 2008 10:28 AM (GMT)
Man, that sucks! You weren't on the right level, what kind of cruddy excuse is that? In my opinion (which, is never normally right!) you're better off without 'em. If they don't teach you what you need to know, then you can't be expected to work to their standards. I still think you'll make an awesome flight attendent, because you really want to be that. Don't let this get ya down, it's their loss.

Luna - January 4, 2008 11:07 AM (GMT)
I think it's there problem, they lost a great person on there staff! And you can go find some other job that might even be more fun! ;) And one day you'll be a great flight attendant, I'm sure of it!

JulieFan - January 4, 2008 01:30 PM (GMT)
Well if we all stay on this forum until 2011 you might find out if I got to be one ;)

Rach112 - January 4, 2008 04:30 PM (GMT)
2011...I think many of us will still be here  !

CalleighElleDakota - January 4, 2008 05:00 PM (GMT)
I agree with Rach - I mean we have so much to talk about that it will never get boring...And 2011 we can all say "congrats" to you because you are going to be a stewardess! B)

CM Addict - January 4, 2008 07:55 PM (GMT)
2011, that's only 3 years from now...sure, we can make it. ;)

Don't worry Brigitte, like Pam said, you're not the first person to ever get fired, and it's not gonna stop you from being a flight attendant if you really want to. ;)

Luna - January 4, 2008 07:57 PM (GMT)
Four years, I've been here since may and time flies! ;)

JulieFan - January 4, 2008 08:09 PM (GMT)
3 years from now, you can all give me mental support because then my posts will look like this:

Oh my goodness, I'm so nervous!
What should I say?! What should I say?!
etc. etc. :P

Rach112 - January 4, 2008 08:11 PM (GMT)
Lol, we'll be here for moral support!

JulieFan - January 4, 2008 08:37 PM (GMT)
Lol. Where should I apply? :P KLM, Martinair?? KLC, Easy Jet :P so many choices!

CM Addict - January 4, 2008 08:47 PM (GMT)
All of the above. :D

JulieFan - January 4, 2008 08:53 PM (GMT)
Yeah, it's probably best to first apply at an airline I do NOT want to work, to get experience in applying!

CM Addict - January 4, 2008 08:57 PM (GMT)
Yeah, that and you wanna keep your options open.

Rach112 - January 4, 2008 09:00 PM (GMT)
Easyjet! I love their show :D Pick somewhere with a nice uniform...j/k, try them all! My aunt works fo BA and loves it, she says it's an awesome job. It sounds like a good career choice!

JulieFan - January 4, 2008 09:04 PM (GMT)
Anyway first I am going to go to foreign countries with EF :)

www.ef.com

Luna - January 5, 2008 12:26 AM (GMT)
Hey, I will hopefully go on a foreignexchange to Costa Rica with EF :D

JulieFan - January 5, 2008 11:50 AM (GMT)
Let me know how it is! I want to study Spanish in Costa Rica :)! English in New York and German in Munich :D

CM Addict - January 5, 2008 06:33 PM (GMT)
Wow, those are some impressive goals, Brigitte. But when are you gonna have time to do it all if you're studying to be a flight attendant? Or are you gonna do that first? Wrack up the frequent flyer miles perhaps? ;)

JulieFan - January 5, 2008 06:49 PM (GMT)
Lol, I don't have an education for flight attendant, you don't need it. You get an education with the airline itself.

CM Addict - January 5, 2008 07:13 PM (GMT)
Sorry, when I said "studying" that's not what I meant. I meant "training". Sorry, yeah, I knew you couldn't like, go to school for it. ;)

JulieFan - January 5, 2008 07:28 PM (GMT)
Yes, you can but only on private school and you have to be super rich for that.
