Title: Everlasting childhood memories
CalleighElleDakota - December 29, 2007 11:14 AM (GMT)
Well, given the fact that there are quite a lot grown ups - and almost grown ups are on this forum I thought you might want to share your memories...
And even if I'm still a kid and am still creating lasting childhood memories - I will start...
I still remember my mom - maybe, because I still dream of her...The funny thing is that she looks a lot like Lola Glaudini in my dreams - and I had these dreams already long before I ever saw her on TV...

I don't have any massivly memorable childhood memories. Most of my significant ones are when I'm a teenager, and now. Like being treated more 'adult'; going to watch qualifyers at Brands Hatch, and getting to watch my idol race; metting John Reynolds (Another racer) - things like that.

I have some wonderful childhood memories of being a kid and having fun with my brothers. I especially remember the times when we were with our maternal grandparents, everything was a big adventure! It's the little things like the treasure hunts and the ponies and the scary Halloweens in the woods that I remember most. We had so much fun :D I was far too grown up when I was little so I think I'm making up for it now

Most of my early childhood memories are sad. The non-sad ones I have are all 6+. The sad ones are printed in my mind. Now I'm getting sad :( I'll cheer myself up with a happy one :)
I think I was about 10. I was at my day care mom's (she's my extra mom. I sorta lived at her place. I'm still there all the time :P). This kid Niklas, 9, was also there. We've never gotten along, still dont. We always fought and on this perticular day we were chasing eachother outside fighting about who could hit who with a baseball bat. His mom and my extra mom came and stopped our "game". Probably for the best. I think I got a few bruises. The way that bat swung around .. woooo

That sounds like a lot of fun... ;)

Beautiful summer days playing rounders on the school fields next to the sea...so much fun! Late nights at the stables with my best friend. It got scary when we were by ourselves

Going to Amsterdam with my classmates when I was 11. We fed the pigeons at the Dam in Amsterdam. And we went to Schiphol to watch the planes (unfortunately you can't do that anymore, stupid terrorists  ).

Somebody say stables?? ;) You rode at night? Do tell.
And what are rounders? (Given the number of British people I've met online, I know I should know this  )
It's sad, but I don't really have any wonderful childhood memories. I spent a lot of my time on my own with my nose in a book. You know how people say that kids have a sense of adventure? I was the exception to that rule.

Let's think… I can remember events from since I was two, so I have a lot of childhoodmemories, very good memories of family and friends and animals, but also pretty bad ones. I also can remember the books I loved to read, from when I was like four years old, and televisionprograms and movies, I've seen since I was two.

I spent a lot of time with my nose stuck in a book too  When I was younger I was really shy. I remember in nursery I was so shy I wouldn't talk to anyone ;) I still enjoy lots of alone time, I'm just not anti-social anymore.
Rounders is where you swing a bat, hit the ball and try to make the base before one of the fielders on the other team gets the balland puts you out. That's the best way I can describe it!
I love night riding :D But I had some scary experiences in the woods and stuff  When I was on the horse I was okay, it was after everyone went home and I was left there by myself and everything there was creepy ;) It was totally in the middle of nowhere!

Yikes, the stables I used to ride at didn't have woods around them (one of them, the crappy one, was in a freaking industrial area  ), so I was never in that situation, but if I was, I would have definitely been creeped out!
