Okay, as discussed earlier, while CM is on hiatus due to the writer's strike and we may not get any new episodes for awhile (and because it's been awhile since I've watched all the Season One episodes :) ) we're going to begin our "episode of week" club in January.

Since so many of our members live in so many different countries and we're not all in the same place in the series, I think this will be a great opportunity for all of us to get on the same page and be able to discuss the same episode at the same time! And maybe we can get some new members to join in too.

I will post in the calendar what the episode of the week will be and if you get the chance, watch the episode and then every Monday we will begin a discussion about that episode. If you can't watch the episode that's okay, please join in anyway with any thoughts or comments you may have.

So our first episode will be Extreme aggressor (Pilot) and we will start our discussion for that episode on Monday January 7th.

I don't even think there's a thread for the this episode, I guess the forum didn't have many members back then, but I bet we'll find loads to talk about! And I always enjoy looking back on the characters now that we know them so well. I still remember watching the pilot for the first time and wanting more Lola!

Am I crazy, or is CM a harder show to find on DVD than others? I'm going out later, so I'm going to look, but I don't recall the place where I get most of my boxsets having a CM one. :unsure:

Well there is a CM boxset here. But it cost 50 euros! Twice as expensive as an CSI box.

In the beginning I couldn't find the DVD set anywhere! I thought that may have just been an England thing ;) I got season 2 from the net, it's not out here yet but even when it's released it won't hit my shops for weeks!

Ah, well the net isn't really an option for me (not for six more months anyway, when I turn 18 and can get a credit card), but I'll still look...should probably get going soon too...

Yeah, I'd been using Youtube, but the lovely person who is uploading them for us hasn't gotten all of them up yet, and I didn't feel like waiting until she did...

Which is why yesterday, when I went out, I found s1 in that store I didn't think had it (they were just hiding it on me) and bought it. :D

So, come Jan. 7th, I'm armed with my DVDs and ready to go.

There's an awesome LJ site, which has all the eps on it, for anyone that can't get them. You can download them for free there: Criminal Eps-You may have to friend them though.

And the first eppy's are all up in full on lots of other sites, youtube etc! I had a bit nosy about ;)

i think CM DVD is rare here, too. although i havve seen it before and had to bite my inner cheeks to stop myself from squeeling.

So who's good at math? How long will it take us to get through all the eps (we're doing s1 and s2, yes?)? Actually, speaking of s2, that reminds me. When I was buying s1, I was looking at s2, seriously considering buying that one first, and I was reading the back cover, and on the s2 set it describes Morgan as, "Hunky Derek Morgan". I nearly squealed. :lol: It's interesting, considering on the s1 set they actually mentioned his speciality (obsessional crimes), but for s2, nope. Whoever wrote that cover was after my own heart. ;)
