catchy title eh!!

So now that Hotch is going through a divorce...we really need to wonder what our team does off the clock??

I don't think Garcia was to into Kevin.

If they had bad dads, trauma growing up they, they are all one stress-or away from becoming serial killers....

or I guess quoting mr hotchner "others grow up catching them"...his one comment about a traumatic past

So true! And yeah pretty catchy title :) B)

Well, let's see - they haven't addressed it too much.

Morgan told Reid in someone's watching that the job takes all their time (but we didn't know about his past at that time)

What was the comment in Unfinished business about the BAU not hiring too many people with families....I don't really remember what was said. Time to pull out the DVD's and do some research.

Hayley has always had an issue with feeling that the job was more important to Hotch than his family.

Garcia and Reid (and JJ in Jones) seem like they're very open to finding someone. But it never seems to work out for them.

We don't know about Rossi and Prentiss (what happened to meeting her ex-fiance - wasn't that a rumor?)

Gideon we'll never know about now. :( But guessing he was married at one time. The job probably took it's toll (and there is what was cut from the pilot script when they had him married at first.)

Just random thoughts....

In UB Hotch told Elle that divorces in the BAU are nothing uncommon... :)

catchy title indeed! im still praying for some Reid/JJ action  i doubt it would happen though. im still quite curious what happened to William Lamontagne or Lila...or Kevin, for that matter. I always just assume that they dont have enough time in their lives to actually have a "life"

Is Rossi married? Do we know.....has anyone seen him wearing a wedding ring? I don't remember anything being said about him having a family.

No sorry - I have no idea... :(

I think its a cumulation of everything-bad childhoods, the job, time etc etc. It's gotta be hard finding time for a relationship when you pretty much have to be on call, 24/7. Plus, you travel quite a bit, and you see some horrific things which you wouldn't really wanna bring hom eto the wife/husband/boyfriend/girlfriend.

Also, the team seem quite private people anyway, so wouldn't really wanna share there feelings with someone. Especially for Morgan and Hotch, who seem to have been in law enforcement for a while (Lawyer, SWAT etc), so I guess you have to be a lil' 'selfish' in some aspects.

We've always seen Reid's socially akwardness, and he and Elle had a conversation in 'Plain Sight' where it seems like Reid is maybe akward aroudn women, and he has some insecurites about his knowledge affecting his 'pulling power', so that is probably a heavy reason for his lack of love. (Not taht he'd be lacking, you just need to look around here, lol )

With Hotch, he's always been very 'superman' ie, carries his burdens himself. He never really talked to Haley, and in 'Unfinished Business' it seemed like he was speaking from the heart when he was talking to Elle at the end, so again, his lack may have already been hinted at.

Gideon-having been married-has lostit, and it seems to be the job, if anyone's read the conversation from the orginal pilot transcript (Shadow Anthology), so again, slightly hinted at.

With Elle/Morgan/Garcia, and to a slight extent Prentiss and JJ, it's been hinted at that they were dating/looking-Reid and Morgan's conversation in 'Somebody's Watching', Garcia, Prentiss and JJ when they went to the bar, Garcia playing in 'Camolot' and her's and JJs conversation about dating...So, it's been hinted at, but never fully explained.

My two (or more) cents! :P

Good thoughts....especially the

I hadn't thought of it that way but I think they are all like that. Very used to keeping all their worries to themselves and not wanting to share their problems with anyone else. They're probably not very good at opening up to other people which could cause big problems in a relationship.

Yeah, I guess they are. Like wth Elle, after she was shot, she would almost point blank refuse to talk to anyone. Except Reid, which I thought was odd. I would of thought she would of talked to Morgan, since they seemed to be 'best buds'. Do you think it's the whole 'Maho man' thing? Morgan, Hotch,. Gideon, they are all really strong males, whereas Reid seems to come of as slightly less macho, maybe

Reid's funny that way. He does ask for help and advice sometimes. (usually from Morgan) about girls, nightmares. At least in season one it seemed he was getting better about opening up a little bit when asked about his worries. But he has always been concerned that Hotch or Gideon thought he wouldn't be able to do his job.

Since Revelations he seems more private (I think he's going in the wrong direction emotionally) now he doesn't seem to want to talk to anyone about anything. He told Emily just a few episodes ago when she asked him about Gideon leaving, that he was fine.
