I'm just wondering who of you - if any- are listen to music by Nightwish and/or Evanescence...

I love their music - at least in some situations...! :lol:

I've never liked any of them. but theres no word for how much I dislike Nightwish since they kicked Tarja. She IS Nightwish. Gah..

I think I never heard something of Nightwish, but I used to love love Evanescence, but now…it's beautiful, my cat who died always started spinning when she heard it, but sometimes I just think it's to sad, you know? I like happy music…not too happy, but happier ;)

Hmm... Well I tend to listen to darker music but I just find Evanescence whiney. Just like... what's it called? Within Temptation. I dunno, it's just not my style.

Flyleaf reminds me of Evanescence but I like Lacey's (the singer) voice better then Amy Lee's. The only female singer I really, really enjoy is Hayley Williams in Paramore because her voice is more rockish then delicate.

If that makes sense. :lol:

Oh and I don't really know Nightwish.

Nightwish is a finnish band, they're one of the bands conidered to be responible for the growing popularity of "symphonic metal" (or whatever you want to call it) in the late 90's. Ex-singer Tarja was opera trained, but got kicked out a while ago.
