Hey guys!
This may seem really straneg, but does anyone have livejournal and/or knows how to get a header at the top of it? I've looked everywhere, and can't find anything that tells me (?)
Thanks in advance!
They changed it! It used to be really simple, there was a spot that clearly said, "put your url here" and other spots that said "put the height here and the width here", but now they've gone and totally redone the customization page, and I can't figure it out for the life of me! There's only one image spot I can find, but it says background image, and even if I say, "don't repeat", it still does! I asked this question in my last LJ entry, actually, and if anyone on my friends list knows I'll pass the info onto you, okay?
yeah i was wondering too. i unfortunately am likewise baffled.
Okay, I figured it out now.
1) Under the Journal drop down menu, select 'Customize Journal'
2) Scroll to the bottom of the page and click 'Customize Selected Theme'
3) On the left sidebar, click 'Style'
4) Scroll to the bottom of the page where the third subheading says 'Images'. At this point you may need to play with the 'expand all' buttons, that thing is pissing me off personally
5) The image section displays like this:
Background Image URL:
Background Image Repeat:
Background Image Position:
Background Image Scrolling:
To set it for a header, fill in the boxes like this:
Background Image URL: (whatever your url is, which you get from photobucket or whatever your host is)
Background Image Repeat: Don't Repeat
Background Image Position: Top
Background Image Scrolling: Fixed
It is very important that you select Fixed and Don't Repeat. That's what was giving me the trouble.
Hope that helps. ;)
