My all time favorite Disney movie is 'The Lion King'.

I have seen it so many times, and it still is good. When I have kids I will buy the DVD for them to watch :). I can remember my mom telling me that we saw it in the cinema, and the song 'Circle of Life' reminded her of a young girl who died of cancer. Now when I listen to it I mostly have to think of people I know who died. Especially the line 'And some have to live with the scars' always makes me sad. I love all the songs, they are good lyrics, good melody and I just love the movie :)! I always had to cry when Simba's father died.. When I saw a video in Disneyland Paris about Disney movies and there was a part where they showed sad moments in the movies, I almost had to cry again. There always seems to be a sad moment in Disney movies. When I watch The lion king, it reminds me so much about my childhood! This is one of the best soundtracks to a film ever seriously!

There are so much bad movies nowadays.. Back in teh day I loved the cartoon movies and they will never be forgotten :D now we have Pixar movies which are good too, but nothing can beat the cartoon movies!

It has gotta be Beauty and the Beast,i just love that movie,i even got it on Special edition DVD i love it so much!

I love all the Disney movies!!! You never outgrow them! :D But my favorite has to be Toy Story.

The Little Mermaid was the first movie I ever saw, and I loved it, still do. :D :D

Oh i loved the Jungle book,i went to see that at the Cinema when i was a kid yearrrrssssssssssssss ago,it was so freakin hilarious!


But my alltime fave is still Beauty and the Beast,for me you'll never beat that Movie!

The Lion King is such a beautiful but sad movie! It has a great moral story also! I always feel sad when his father dies1

I hardly saw any growing up, don't know why…
I loved Bambi, my favourite aunty rented it once when I was four, so it might also be the atmosfere…
I also love Lady and the Tramp, but that's because my first dog was called Lady, hardly remember the movie… :unsure:
with that I also saw Peter Pan and Jungle Book…oh and the 101 Dalmatians, after that I wanted also a dalmatian! :lol:
And that was about all films I saw…friends promised me to have a Disney Movie night to show me all the essentials ;)

Man I just realized how many Disney movies we have on video!!

I only have the Lion King English version video. But that's alright because even when I was young I could follow it :)!

we own almost every Disney Cartoon on video and a couple of English sing-a-long videos :)!

The Lion King is amazing. I usually want to watch movies in its original language, but in tLK, Rickard Wolff is the voice of Scar, and hes absolutely amazing. His voice is so unique, hearing Scar speak with another voice would feel so wrong :)

Yes Jeremy Irons is the voice of Scar :P He has this evil voice, fits the character perfectly :D I love the song 'Be prepared', did you know that halfway through the show the voice changes from Jeremy to another singer because of vocal problems. You can hardly notice!

What about live-action movies instead of cartoons? Pirates of the carribean was a pretty good Disney movie. And I really liked National Treasure - I'm looking forward to the sequel which comes out next week. I hope it's as good as the first one.

Yes I like those too. But got to have some props for the cartoons because we grew up with them :P!

I don't think I actually have a favourite. But if I had to pick, maybe Cinderella? Something about the princess and the glass slipper, idk, fantasy land. ;)

I just find them really disturbing, even stuff like Bambi and the Lion King. I don't know why, I just hate watching them! They freak me out even more than horror movies...

I voted The Little Mermaid.. but i like it yet: Hercules, Sleeping Beauty and the Pirates of the Caribian!! (of course :D ) I love Johnny Depp..

the lion king makes me cry when i watch the scene where mufasa dies, and plus i think they're all so cute
