Title: P.R.S. (Post Revelations Syndrome)
Description: Reid still having drug issues

I don't know what it is but I feel like Criminal Minds seems to be having a PRS problem (Post Revelations Syndrome)
I know I may not be in the majority but I liked the Reid drug issue thing as I thought it showed character development and depth.
I do not feel that they have finished this problem.
I heard they were supposed to wrap up the reid drugg issue early in the 3rd season but I am getting impatient I guess.
Especially after the comment Hotch made to Prentiss, that she could have reported him because he knows he has an agent that could have a serious drug problem.
It just seems like there are little hints here and there and I am like OK address it already!

I love this show! - October 25, 2007 11:44 AM (GMT)
I couldn't agree more! I never did like the drug thing with Reid so I was ready for it to be over in the episode after Revelations!

You'll have to forgive me but I'm a little down about CM right now. I can't put my finger on what it is, but something just doesn't seem right about the show with me right now. I honestly don't think it's Mandy leaving either. I can't decide if it's that they've tried too hard to "expand" the characters or what. I know every character will change over time and with every episode the more stuff that happens to them, makes them change. But I just feel like they're forcing it - they're changing too much, too fast. And I also sort of get the feeling it has to do with the "creativity" of the show - I keep thinking the writers and actors want to challenge themselves in their craft and I personally am not enjoy the results right now. I just feel like they've gotten away from the basic format that attracted me to the show to start with. :( The characters aren't very consistant anymore. I see that especially with Reid (and not just when they're hinting at a possible drug problem.) He's like a different person in different episodes...almost like his character has to change to fit whatever role the script calls for that week. There are too many inconsistancies in general and they won't close one storyline before starting new ones which is making me crazy!

Sorry, I know I'm ranting here....and I'm not really keeping with the topic, but my complaints have more to do with the show overall and not just with the lack of them addresssing Reid's problem. :(

Well I actually did like the drug thing a bit, but I really want them to like deal with it and get it over with.

i thought he was over with the drug problem? didn't he talked to gideon in a pub where reid's jazz friend was playing and reid said "i will never miss another plane" or smth to the effect?
