Evanescence..is my all time favorite band..ive been listening to them since the begging....people are alwasy comparing them to these others bands and evanescence is unique..when my granny died they music really helped me a lot......and amy lee voice is amazing...she writes and sing about personal things..and thats very creative...soo let me know what you think do ya like them or hate them ..or dont care..LOL i like to know people's opinion..:)

I like it but it's a bit to depressing for me, I mean the songs are beautiful but I don't like listen to them on a regular basis. But my deceased cat loved the music and she had great taste. ;)

luna...let me ask ya ...why is it depressing for you??? to most people it helps them!

I dunno what it is about them but I just can't stand them. I think it's her voice, I mean, she can definatly sing but it seems really whiny to me. And I just don't like their songs.

I also agree that it depresses me. Is that weird? Cause I listen to other bands people say are depressing and they don't make me sad. But everytime I here Evanescence I'm like ahh! lol.

I like some of their songs. But the only negative I can say is that most people compare Amy Lee to Kate Bush and their absolutely not the same! ;)

I think my favorite songs are Missing, Tourniquet, Haunted and call me when you're sober.

Btw Amanda have you ever heard of Within Temptation, a Dutch band? I think you might like their music too.
