Yeah! :D Of course I'd still love to see Doubt in it's original version as a bonus on DVD S3 but I guess that's probably wishful thinking.

But it's nice to know we'll get another full episode with Gideon in it and hopefully they can edit so it doesn't seem too chopped up and obvious.


Ohhhh.....just had a thought! What if Gideon's profile is wrong and that's what makes him decide to leave. Thinking he isn't capable of doing the job anymore......huh? <_<

True, that's what I was thinking. Also, the look Morgan gives Gideon as he's leaving...I don't know, but it made me think of the first half of the season, when Morgan had a problem with Gideon...do you think there's gonna be major tension between those two? If so, it better be good, 'OMG!' tension, otherwise it will just look like those two having a hissy fit. Buuuut, my point was, do you think that there will be a falling out/profile is wrong, and that wil lead to Gideon leaving? Because that's what i got from the clip.

That's how it sounded to me too. And it sounded like Morgan was the one calling him on it. (surely they wouldn't have Morgan going after Gideon while Emily's going after Hotch!) That might be a little too much tension. And I didn't see Reid in the clip but surely he's around (unless he's in rehab! Ohhh....I don't even want to go there!) I don't want Gideon to leave under suspicion or anything bad. :(

This is CM, drama is what they do best! But I hope we don't have that scenario of Em after Hotch and then if there's major tension with Gideon...Gosh, it's gonna be exhausting!

I don't want Gideon to have a horrible ending. I'm pleased we're gonna get a full episode but I'm kinda holding out for something not too depressing and major team tension/arguments resulting in Gideon leaving would be very depressing.

Yes! Gideon has been such a wonderful character it would be horrible to have him leave under really bad circumstances.

I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

its great that we get another full eppy of Gideon and the team!...i definetly dont want an argument between them to be the reason that he leaves...i would be heartbroken.. :(

I'm glad AJs comments were nice about his departure. And I totally agree with her, I hope Gideon doesn't get killed off, although for some reason that's how I think it may play out. I'm not sure why, it's just this feeling I have.

Jemma! :-no !!!!!! He can't die. If that happens I'll have to mourn for ages :( That would just be such a horrible start to the season.

Yeah, I really don't want him to die, because if he leaves then that gives us 'Elle Hope', meaning the doors open for guest spots. Plus, imagine how aweful Season 3 would be if he died.

As much as I don't want him to die (I really don't!!!) the good thing about choosing that storyline is it's final. No more wondering why he left, why he didn't say goodbye, etc. It leaves unanswered questions but it would be a scenario that we wouldn't be expecting to get answers for. In a way I almost think it would be easier for the characters to deal with Gideon's death and then get on with business (hopefully have good memories) rather than have the shadow hanging over them over his leaving (couldn't do his job, walked away from the team, another example of how the BAU is still struggling....that type of thing.)

You don't think they'd have him commit suicide do you? :o :unsure: Nooooo!!!! Then they'd have to have Reid find his body and that would really mess with his mind!

Yeah and the team needs a clear-headed Reid!

I think losing one character is enough without another one going off the rails! Although I do think it would be interesting to see how Reid would cope in that situation...

Me neither! I hope they make it somehow so everyone is okay with Gideon moving on and they can get back to work.

Aaaahh! I have been waiting SO LONG for this to be shown. I found out it was gonna be the premiere like a week ago and I was squeeing for about 10 minutes.

They better not cut out the JJ/Reid part, though! Poor girl getting spit on. :(

Oh and it's premiering the day before my birthday so it better be good. :P

Ah I'm spazzing out right now because someone told me they read in an interview that Mandy got writen out of Doubt. They like... edited him out. So I'm like WTF because the promo shows him in it. I also found this on the internet:

The first episode of the season is going to be the episode from last season that was pulled because of the Virginia Tech shootings. The episode will be re-edited now, as a flashback, and we'll see scenes of Patinkin's character writing a note to a mysterious unknown person.

(Oh and the reason I'm freaking is because like I said before, I really want to see that scene with JJ being spit on and Reid being there for her. But Gideon was in that scene so it will probably be cut. Maybe.)

They have reworked "Doubt" (the episode that was supposed to air last season That was about a "shooter" All we really know is that the episode was re-done, apparently now it is about an unsub that is "stabbing" victims. As for Gideon....he will be in this episode but no one knows what scenes were cut from the original version. Only that he was on the set (I'm guessing they just shot new scenes that were needed to make the episode work) and then he must have done scenes for the next episode (where he leaves the show.) There's still some question about how much he will appear in that episode.

I just hope it's not too obvious that Doubt was cut and re-edited into a whole new script.

I think it's just that JJ was breaking the news to the girl that her friend(?) died and she just freaked and spat on her. I think that's it? I read the script but I forget. xD
