This episode looks great, but it will be the following one that knocks us on our butts....envisioning elle flat lining...fisher king being blown up....remember when hotch called Morgan and JJ (they were driving out to interview the girls parents) and he told them elle had been shot....he was like a crazy man swerving about, slamming on the brakes, whipping a shitty in the middle of the road!!

note**please ensure morgan is not behind the wheel when he finds out garcia has been **shot**.

Okay....I just finished reading the sides for this episode too. I'm thinking the episode itself will be really good (and the following one I'm sure since they'll have to resolve it) My concern is what the writers are planning to do with Garcia's character farther down the road. The only comparison I can make is when we started hearing about Reid's drug problem. I didn't like the sound of that and I'm not really liking the sound of this either. Revelations was a great episode!!! But it's where it left Reid that I'm not so happy about. (especially since they've never given us a clear answer to what happened!) I do not want the same type of thing to happen with Garcia! I love her the way she is and if they make her change I'm just afraid I will be really disappointed in the end results. Since these are just sides - it's always a possibility that a lot of things can change. But please, please, please CM writers don't change Garcia!!! :(

Okay, I can speak now...I'm glad they're including Garcia more too but if it's like Fisher King I won't be happy! I don't want this to happen to Garcia :( Maybe the writer think it'll be good for her character or they're hoping to push her in a new direction but I still don't think I'm gonna like this. I want to keep happy, colourful Garcia and after that, she probably won't be!

After discussing it with Jentzer I have decided I don't think we have too much to fear with what spoilers we've gotten about what happens to Garcia next season. Jentzer pointed out to me (I had mis-interpreted it) that Kirsten wrote "Change is scary because with it comes a side order of the unknown. And why is it I always at first think the side order will be terrifying? Like bacon? I’m a vegetarian, so bacon would be a terror one for me. My first thought is usually fearful, my second thought is usually much more brave. The unknown side dish could be pudding. I think I had really stopped reading at the "unknown side dish could be pudding" and skimmed over the part where she plainly states "So let’s all be brave and know that I will be eating some change with a side of pudding."

How scary is pudding? It can't be that bad! So I feel much better this morning. I was beginning to get a little worried yesterday.

I don't know, I don't like cheery happy Garcia getting shot. Well except there are great Morgan/Garcia moments afterwards. Oh oh I love worried Morgan! So maybe I do like this idea, I just really like her character how it is right now!

***I read the sides too and I agree with your analysis (of course it is always subject to change and we have no idea what will actually make it into an episode or get cut.)

I think the "Garcia in surgery" scenes will be very intense. And she doesn't die but it sounds like there are some scenes comparable to what we saw when Elle was shot (flashbacks to scenes of her life as she wavers between life and death)

There is a fill-in computer tech (I can't wait to see what he actually looks like) I actually think his scenes will be very interesting and I also got the impression that there is a possible connection between he and Garcia at the end......could it be love???

Morgan is very emotional but I think we get to see the team come together and support each other as all this happens. (I think it will be good.) :)

I can't really summon up any enthusiasm for this episode yet but I'm very pleased she's sticking around :D I just hate it when horrible things happen to the team, I find it uncomfortable to watch.... :rolleyes:

its sad to watch anyone from the team get hurt in any way

I felt sad with the whole Elle thing but stuff like Reid getting tortured was just uncomfortable. I guess I just see the characters as these tough, strong profilers who are so in control, then they go get shot and beaten like normal people and it's hard to watch them be weak...don't know if that ramble makes sense ;) ... these episodes however do provide some of our best, most touching team moments :D

yea..when ellie got shot i cried and wehn redi was tortured i cried...and ill cry when anyone of them gets hurts...

The writers give them problems so "we can identify with them more easily" make them human?

These guys are the heroes! I like them to beat the bad guys and win! I don't like to see them hurting and struggling all the time. :( And they've already been through SO much....can't they be happy once in awhile? (any CM writers tuning in????? :rolleyes: )

This is TV....real life is hard enough as it is.
