I love this show! - July 20, 2007 12:49 AM (GMT)
I just read it. She sounded a little unsure of how to comment about how things have been on the set.....

Shira - July 20, 2007 01:27 AM (GMT)
She did seem a little unsure, but then again, she was being her usual, all-over -the-place self.

I love Kristen.

Duran Duran is doing an album produced by Timbaland. This is like the time chocolate and peanut butter came together, like the first time I realized how good pink and green look, like those things you see about baby hippos being raised by giant tortoises. AND I just came back from a Stevie Wonder concert. It was outside. We were all the way at the very top, the very back, this is where all the huge fans sit and everyone knew all the words. Yowza.

I am right now hacking my new fancy phone. Oh yes. You heard me right. Hacking it. I do it in real life too. Except pretty badly most times. With many a do-over. But I do it.

We are in the middle of shooting episode five right now. I am thrilled with this new addition to our team, Mr. Joe Mantegna. Never mind that he is a voice on one of the greatest shows in the history of television, co-wrote one of the best short plays I ever saw, was a founding member of a theatre in Chicago, co-owns the best place to get pizza in Los Angeles (long sidebar here: I grew to hate pizza over the summer because I was doing this play where I ate two pieces of pizza a day which equaled to 16 pieces a week {because we had eight shows} and pizza and I are in a fight because I gained like 15 pounds over the summer from it{because eating on stage is not like eating for realsies so I found myself eating second dinner after the play, like a hobbit} and we are slowly getting back to speaking terms and I have Joe and his family to thank for that. Ok, back to the other thing I was saying about Joe, stay with me.).....he’s awesome on TOP of that. I have spent very little time with him, but my “rad-dar” is quick and true. As I learn more I will report and then make a list of three about him as well.

After episode five comes episode six. And there will be something that happens and I can’t tell you what that something is or I will be figuratively eaten by angry mutant koalas. Change is scary because with it comes a side order of the unknown. And why is it I always at first think the side order will be terrifying? Like bacon? I’m a vegetarian, so bacon would be a terror one for me. My first thought is usually fearful, my second thought is usually much more brave. The unknown side dish could be pudding. So let’s all be brave and know that I will be eating some change with a side of pudding. And that’s all I’m saying on that. We will all have to watch and see now won’t we?

PENS (and pencils) THAT FIGHT CRIME!
A yellow wooden mouse pencil!
A purple sparkly pen!
One with a giant rose on the end!
A strange silvery frog with boxing gloves on!
A skeleton! (I had him do a tiny show with the strange boxing frog)

So according to the sides, we are being teased that she might (Garcia) get **shot**

And their will be some "change"...ponder.....

***I don't want to see her in a hospital bed...what about a wheel chair...what about her happy things/thoughts....eaten by angry mutant koalas....is she leaving the show...NO NEW TECHY****

I love this show! - September 8, 2007 09:06 PM (GMT)
I hope it is good "change" not bad change. Do actors get a say in this type of stuff or do writers just tell them this is what we're doing to your character and they pretty much have to go with it? Anyone know?

ILoveReed1988 - September 8, 2007 09:35 PM (GMT)
i mean it would make since if like the writers ask the actor what they think like what direction their character should go

I think some actors are quite happy to just do what's been written, others might demand some input so I guess it just depends. I don't know about the CM team in particular though. Maybe the actors just trust the writers to do what's best.

Another great blog!

I love this show! - September 9, 2007 02:44 PM (GMT)
You're probably right. For the most part they probably trust the writers but I wonder how scary it is for an actor when they first hear about a scene or episode where something major is about to happen to their character.

After discussing it with Jentzer I have decided I don't think we have too much to fear with what spoilers we've gotten about what happens to Garcia next season. Jentzer pointed out to me (I had mis-interpreted it) that Kirsten wrote "Change is scary because with it comes a side order of the unknown. And why is it I always at first think the side order will be terrifying? Like bacon? I’m a vegetarian, so bacon would be a terror one for me. My first thought is usually fearful, my second thought is usually much more brave. The unknown side dish could be pudding. I think I had really stopped reading at the "unknown side dish could be pudding" and skimmed over the part where she plainly states "So let’s all be brave and know that I will be eating some change with a side of pudding."

How scary is pudding? It can't be that bad! So I feel much better this morning. I was beginning to get a little worried yesterday.

Guest - September 9, 2007 05:08 PM (GMT)
after discussing this with ILTS....heehee lol

PUDDING.....jentzer loves pudding!!

however, criminal minds "change"...still sets me reeling....

what if the writers are playing a "spoiler for the spoilers" type trick on us....

......hmmm I know a few of you really believe "morgan" would be delicious covered in pudding!!

Either way, IF something scary/bad/odd happens to garcia, we know "our team" will rally around her, it will bring them closer, group hug..etc.....so BRING ON THE PUDDING!!!

Wow this woman is amazing...did she just out herself!!

I love it.

Maybe me and my girl can go for drinks with KV and her girl!!

No matter how much you prepare, coming out as gay or lesbian is a difficult, emotional process -- a process that will continue long after the words are spoken and the secret is out.

The Ellens and now the KV's of the world....make life easier...and me more proud!!

Hello All,

Today I had planned to write my long -awaited blog, but there are only so many hours in the day you see...and I'm going walk the picket lines with the Writers Guild today, like I did yesterday and the day before that.

And really, if I did write all I'd end up going on about is said strike and there are folks out there who do it waaaay better than I.

Yesterday, they filmed me going on and on in analogies (like I do, you all know how I do) and I think that should be on Youtube or www.untitedhollywood.com sometime soon, (they have one with the "The Office" writers that is both hilarious and true among others from "Grey's Anatomy", ect.ect.ect.)

Yes, that's me trying to get you to look at it.

I was raised to stand up for what I believe in the gut, even if it's not popular. I was taught to write letters to folks and make phone calls to companies when I like (and dislike) what they are doing.

I have stopped eating things, buying things and doing things that I reallllyyyy wanted to eat, have, and participate in based on this philosophy.

It's the Garcia way.

I'm glad we have that in common.

I'm off to picket.

Can you tell us why? She seems to be very down to earth, honest and real.

And yes I get that from a "blog" but her and AJ Cook both seem very open when doing interviews and also, talking about the show with the fans.
