I'm in as well! Since Elle has left CM she is my favorite female character on the show - and AJ is one of my favorite actresses...

So question.....What would you guys like to see for the JJ character?

*Ahem* Sorry to cut in here, but I was wondering about JJ the other day, and now I've got all these questions on my mind I can't seem to answer. I figured here would be a good place.

Okay, so what EXACTLY do we know about everyone's favourite liaision? We know she went to college on a soccer scholarship, we know she has an Aunt that she is probably very close with (potentially raised by), we know she has a niece, which means she has at least one sibling, and we know she's from a small town in Pennsylvania, right? Do we know anything else? I guess I'm getting confused because I've come across fics that say one thing, and then the show/another fic says something different....very confusing. Once I saw a fic that said she's from Pittsburgh, which, last I checked, was not a small town, so yeah. Can anyone add to the info I've got here, or is that all good?

JJ got her scholarship to Pittsburgh but she grew up in East Allegheny, close to where the girls in North Mammon are from...I remember looking this up for a fanfic...I'd have to re-watch the episode to be sure though!


I'd personally really like to learn more about JJ's family...I know there are a few theories floating around that her parents are dead etc so it would be nice to know for sure!

I think you've about covered all that we know as well,we don't know all that much about her...We don't even know if her Parents are alive or dead...I'd like to learn alot more about who she is and about her past!

Shelby is a character AJ Cook used to play on the serie Higher Grounds:
A serie about troubled teens who were send there to get back on the right path.

Shelby came there after she was found again by her mom after being on the streets and making her money as a prostitute. She had run away because her stephdad sexualy abused her.

Luna, I have heard of Higher Ground, actually. It's one of those things I've been meaning to watch....maybe when I'm done getting caught up on CM.

Rach, yeah, I think that everybody in fandom land has pretty much decided that JJ's parents are dead. It's funny, just last night I was looking through some CM stuff, and the way people say it, it's so definitive. Obviously there's evidence to back it up, it's just that it's funny. Made me think of if I was one of the PTB and I decided to look at the CM fan sites and read that, it would be like, "Oh, you've all decided this, have you?" :lol:

Yeah, if I had read all that I'd probably make them alive and well just for fun!

I used to love Higher Grounds (when I was thirteen and was home sick or had the first few hours off I found it and well kinda fell in love with Auggy :lol: So when I first saw CM last may when she got almost eaten by Hankel's dogs (they showed that here in may) I was like: she looks familior :unsure: :huh:

And why is it that almost everyone who does fanfic makes her to be an orphan?

And Rach…I think they're always nice against each other, like in the beginning of Penelope when Hotch comes up to JJ and she says: 'What you stay late with me to make me look bad?'

Or in Legacy:

And they look good together :) Both good eyecandy ;)

But JJ/Reid is also great, and even JJ/Morgan or JJ and cute New Orleans guy ;)

JJ/Hotch do get some great moments together. Friendship, romance...whatever,they are so good to watch!

I've never seen Highlander but Tru Calling is on right now and AJ looks so different!


Maybe someone should write a fic where she isn't an orphan, just to be different!

Oh my goodness, guess what happened this afternoon?

I was watching Beverly Hills 90210, and the commercials came on so I decided to use the handy dandy info button on our new satellite TV to find out the plot of tonight's Party of Five ep. So I scroll down to Vision, the channel that runs PoF, and guess what they're showing at that moment?

That's right, Higher Ground!

I had no idea. I watched it for a bit, and AJ was so cute! :lol: It was episode 8, Seductions. Her scenes with Scott were cute. "You can kiss me." (briefly kisses her) "You can kiss me more than once." :D

As it turns out, they run this show every weekday afternoon at 4, so I guess that's what I'll be doing with my afternoons for the next little while!

Its a great show i use to watch it when it was ontv..they dont show it here anymore :(

I adore so much their dialogues! :lol:

I did not love on the beginning of the series Jennifer. (But maybe that I said this already)
But my opinion changed soon B) B)
