Maybe I'm just weird but I wonder things about the characters that we aren't told. For example what do you think Reid's house would look like? Do you think he would be a neat freak or a total slob? (yes, I know MGG says he's a neat freak but I wonder about Reid.) What kind of music do you imagine Garcia listens to? What kind of car would Morgan drive?

Maybe the people who write fanfic have already answered questions like these in their stories but for the rest of us I thought it might be interesting to toss around some ideas about what we think the characters might or might not be like and why. (and it would be funny if any of these things ever come up in a script to see how close or how far off we are!)

Okay, here's one we'll never get an answer to but what do we think Elle would have done after leaving the BAU? I can't decide what kind of job she would take......definitely not law enforcement. But she would probably still want something fairly exciting.

well...i wanna know where Garcia buys her clothes. and yeah...i do wanna know what elle does now. its sad that we probably wont ever get an answer to that.

I imagine that Garica probably has at least 3 cats and they all have funny clever names (maybe something technical. Or maybe their names are Morgan, Gideon and Reid?) I also imagine her house decorated with lots of unusual things and for some reason lots of pink stuff.

I would like to know what about Reid´s PhDs are... And, in general, I think that non-told things are lots of time the most interesting, cause we can speculate bout them, so calm down, you´re not weird at all :P

And I think Reid´s house is a little, tidy and very plainly decorated flat ( full of books, of course), Penélope listens brittish pop-rock and Morgan drives a flashy sport car... :P

I don't think CM has ever said what the phd's are but I think I read in an interview by Matthew (could be wrong on this) that two of them are Math and Physics and he didn't even know what the third one was.

I can't decide what I think Reid's home is like because he isn't always dressed "tidy" and it's been worse since the drug incident.

Well, about Reid´s house, you have to consider that the last episode I´ve seen is "Sex, birth, death", so I know about "the drug incident" cause I´ve read something about it but I haven´t seen yet :( Anyway, I wanted to mean "tidy" in a housewife-sense, but in a maniatic sense ("Don´t touch my things cause I like them to be just like that") A little tidy chaos full of weird things xD But definitely not like Morgan´s house, you know what I mean? Pizza´s boxs and clothing through the whole flat :D

I think Reid´s musical tastes have to been eclectic... I bet he loves classical music and I can imagine him listening jazz or seventies rock singers and groups (Hey! I love Beatles! xD)

I love 60's music! (Beatles included! :D ) Yeah, for some reason I imagine Reid listening to something calm or older music (maybe the type of music his mother liked? - 60's - 70's pop or rock) Maybe jazz and classical. I don't see him liking hard rock or even country music.

Morgan....R&B, rock, maybe a little rap. Gideon.....classical, jazz. J.J.....pop, rock, country - anything popular. Emily.....????? Hotch.....I don't know.....classic rock.

And I see what you mean about the "tidy" comment. I think you might be right on that. He would probably be very particular about his things.

And I can imagine a room full of pizza boxes in Morgan's house! :lol:

What else.....what do you think all of them would do for fun? (when they ever have time off.)

Gideon cooks, reads and listens jazz while thinking about the world in general and his life in particular. And yeah, he dances and sings to himself at the same time!
Hotch is a family´s man, so he plays with Jack and does things like arrange the garage (yes, for people who is always at work things like that can be even relaxing xD)
García plays online games, watches MTV and thinks about new funny phone answers. I bet she likes to watch terror movies and she spends over half or her free time speaking by phone...
Reid reads all the time, of course. Maybe he goes to lectures or museum, but I think he´s more a home-loving kind of person and he usually stays at home.
Morgan goes out, goes out and goes out :P Nah, not so much, but he´s supposed to be the one who likes to enjoy the most ( in a festive sense)
JJ is likely to have a real life... with friends and family and old classmates. Yes, she´s a FBI agent, but I thinks she´s not so differente from girls of her age.

Perhaps she is Gideons "girlfriend" who gets kidnapped?????

Or perhaps she moved back to New York, where she opened a restaurant and spends her evenings at Law School studying to become a lawyer so she can "catch bad people who are cowards, there is nothing she would rather do than put the bastards away".
She definitely volunteers at the local "Crisis Centre", counseling rape victims.
She spends her free time rock climbing, is preparing to travel to London, UK to partake in the Gumball 3000, and is very involved in the Upper East Sides "eXtreme Croquet" League.

***and a side note, she bought the restaurant with the money from her "Wrongfull Dismissal" suit she filed against the FBI.*** AND, of course she is in counselling, coming to terms with her being shot, she is the victim here!!

I think a lot about their private lives...my first question is: do they live all in Quantico? :o
We know Gideon has a chalet, we saw Hotch's house and we know that Morgan has a dog called Clooney^^
Then I think Reid lives in a tidy flat with a lot of books in Quantico, but he still owns Las Vegas house where he lives (and cleans of course!) when he goes to see his mother, what type of car he has is a mystery for me :o
I imagine JJ lives alone in a small house with garden, I don't think she has a lot of friends, in the 'Fisher King' she didn't go on holiday and I don't think she has a family that meet often.
Garcia has a pink house with Hello Kitty's furniture :P

Oh I imagine that J.J. has lots of friends. (she didn't get vacation in Fisher King like the rest because she isn't a profiler...she made a comment that they get a different amount of vacation time - Garcia didn't get a vacation either) The theory that J.J.'s parents are dead is interesting though because it could explain why she was so anxious to get out of the small town she's from.

Reid....I don't think he has a car. He seems to stick to public transportation. How much money do you figure a profiler with 3 PHD's would make? Unless he got scholorships (which would be the most likely for a 12yr old genius prodigy) he would be paying back student loans until he's 50! But then he would probably spend a lot of his money paying for his mother's care too. I know living in Washington DC is expensive but it did surprise me a little that Gideon only has a little apartment. (but he does have a cabin.) Hotch has a nice big house in the suburbs. J.J. and Garcia would make the least so I would expect them to have a little apartment somewhere. Morgan I would imagine to live in an apartment.....who feeds his dog when they unexpectedly get called out of town for days at a time? Emily I imagine would have a nice little apartment. And I would think they would have to live close just in case they get called in the middle of the night.

I agree with you. I think JJ is a very friendly person who likes to keep in touch with coworkers, neighbours or old University mates. And I´m pretty sure Reid hasn´t a car. In "Birth, Sex and Death" we saw him on an underground station, and Nathan said that he had seen him before. Moreover, when the prostitute calls him, Reid tells Penélope something like "you´re going to have to take me"

Yeah, she's very friendly and maybe you're right, but I see her as a reserved person also if she's friendly with everybody...except with Reid sometimes <_<

I think there is a pretty young one ( someone like him or younger) Maybe they had some kind of loving relationship ( tey went out once or twice, or even they slept together) but now they have become really helpful and friendly neighbours.
But I don´t rule out your old lady :D

At the beginning of the 2nd season she's not very friendly with him. I have just seen "Empty Planet" and at the beginning of the episode she not even says 'hello' to him...sometimes I don't know what to think :(

I disagree. Morgan is hot, and he knows it. Red flashy sporty is for guys trying to overcompensate who're usually jerks. Morgan needs something black, sleek, and distinctive. I'd say a black Dodge Magnum or a very dark blue Series 6 650i Coupe from BMW. Although, if you're gonna go with red, a Red Dodge Caliber might suit him too.

I think for being an agent to have a driving licence is obligatory, but to have a driving licence and to be able to drive are two different things...I would like to see a scene where Reid is forced to drive :rolleyes: :P

i dont think jj has a lot of freinds, i think shes a freindly person, but i think shes probably too into her work. Unlike the profilers jj has to deal with all the logistics of everything and that must be a lot of work. I think most of them can really only be freinds with each other, because of the type of job they have and the things that they experience...Hotch is the only one we know to be real long term relationship. They all seem to lead rather secluded lives as well,

i think that morgans house will definetly be a mess and Reids would be not tidy or messy but filled, around with books, film, cd's, art i think that he doesnt have any specific tastes in music but enjoys the uniqueness of every style.
i rekon as well that garcia and jj live together, sometimes they spend a lot of time together when the team goes somewhere, and they have a chemistry that speaks freindship!

Gideon - I think they've pretty much already told us what he would like in a woman...smart, sophisticated, a lot of culture and someone who would be very charitable (dedicated their lives to helping others)

Hotch - married.....we'll skip him

Morgan - Beautiful! I imagine athletic but still very feminine. And with a good sense of humor and playful.

Emily - I imagine she would go for a guy......a lot like Hotch is what I imagine - very dedicated and strong willed - just knew what he wanted in life and was going about accomplishing it all. Very stable and determined. Not bad looking but not extremely handsome either.

Reid - I imagine Reid with a girl that was cute but not drop dead gorgeous. Smart but not as smart as him. Just very sweet and kind and patient. Kind of a girl next door type of person that everyone loves. But I can't decide if she would be a little on the shy side too or would be the exact opposite and very social to sort of take up the slack. <_<

J.J. - She would need a very active, outgoing, athletic type of guy. I imagine one of those people that can walk into a room full of strangers and be the life of the party and get along with everyone. And of course be good-looking too. Not dumb but probably not as intellectual as Emily's man.

Garcia - I imagine Garcia with sort of a wild party-kind of guy. Very impulsive and fun. He'd have to be smart, maybe slightly geeky in his own way.

Elle - I actually think Elle would have wanted a family guy. She wanted action and adventure and excitement but I think a lot of her just wanted a normal home life too. A good looking guy who had a stable job and would be supportive of her and her job.

So what do the rest of you think?

JJ and Ried are the most likely to be in a relationship with each other but call me wierd i can also imagine Morgan and Prentiss in a relationship because Emily trusts Morgan alot. it would take time Morgan would need to learn how to be committed first. i never really thought of it until i saw the scene at the end of Fear and Loathing where they were kinda flirting with each other.
